OMG Mema, how horrid to fast all night and morning (which seems to be forever btw, not sure why it is called "fast" cause it seems so slow...lol), and then the *dumdum* dumdum ruins it all. Hmmmmmm, mebbe dats why itz called *dumdum*....like in that Museum movie and ths statue calls the fellow (Ben Stiller?) a dumdum. HATE dat it happened dat way....not fun to have to do all that again. Horrid also on how that fellow hurt you....shouldn't have done that...hate hearing that. You deserve better treatment!!!!! Dum Dum Cocktail
4 drops lemon juice, ½ shot Vodka, ½ shot of Jagermeister.
Take a 7oz. hard plastic glass, fill 1/6 of the glass with vodka and add the same amount of tonic(the glass should be less than half full). Now take the glass in one hand and close it with the other hand. Then you should shake it ,or smash the bottom of the glass on some not so hard surface-(better),and drink fast.

And Mema, ya knows wese means cuz of da dumdum youse sucked on.....NOT suggesting you are the dumdum, not at all! Awesome pic to go with it! Yeah Lori, my DH actually held up ok....he didn't even have time to eat all day. The lady he was partnered with was REALLY losing her memory....he said she was like my mom, and she was just 72. Although she has worked the polls for yrs, and this was his first time, he ended up having to double check everything she did, and caught mistakes that had to be taken care of. SO that kept him on his toes! He thought the whole process was fascinating, how everything had to be securly taped and signed off at the end, all the printouts, etc. He also said when I came in I "lit up the whole room"....LOL. Ya think he means cuz of my red hair??? HE is sooooo silly.

Wahine - the weather was horrid, I got on the road at 6 am and it was okay a bit of ice and light rain and it was dark and so cold...then closer I got to Olympia the more and more it rained and then started turning to snow, so it was like a big snow storm and traffic was slow and it was hard to see anyting in da blizzard. I got off da fwy in Oly to check weather to see if I could continue. Once on I5 it was mostly rain and some ice/snow/slush chit...took forever to get there and I was just shaking so muchly, I got skeert. Fortunately my 4 runner has 4 wheel dwive, so I just went slow and easy and I made it there and back. Whew...risking my life to save my life...what a twip.

But I started on a chicken wild rice casserole for tomorrow night so we can have them over for dinner. Haven't had them over yet! Hope my mom remembers my dogs when she sees them (have had them for 8 1/2 yrs) as yesterday when I showed her the painting I did of them, she was surprised that I have 2 dogs. Hoping she will remember them when she sees them! Watching the news as my grandkids are supposed to be on the news tonight. I swear, for home-schooled kids, they go EVERYWHERE! And now they are at Tae Kwan Do (sp?) for their class tonight, then a party out past where we live.

Hi everyone....got home from work at a decent hour today....4:30...so got a nice walk in....sitting here and drinking wine....feeling really anxious....guess I'm more stressed than I thought I was for my onc appt tomorrow.....he draws labs right before the visit so won't get those results till next week....My work week is over, but I have 6 staffings next week...4 on Monday and only have 1 1/2 reports done, so have to get them done before Monday morning...work is getting really crazy...feeling overwhelmed with all I have to do....its getting more hectic as the year winds down....1 more quarter left....next week is the last week before spring break.....
I have pics of the dog posted on fb for those loungettes that visit fb.....still not adept at posting here.....
