Welcome Suz...
Now you must let us in on your secret of revolutionizing the the s'mores...

Sitting by the campfire and thinking about all who are in the middle of the circle. Know you are surrounded by many lending a helping hand. Praying that all went well with Hannah's surgery and hope she feels our presence in spirit.
Hoping that no one ever has to leave and believe that standing strong together, holding each others hands will help.

Kbugmom, hope you are doing well.
In your honor.....
Suzanne's banana cream pie s'more
(I take these quite seriously, they are my legacy!!)
toast, do not burn 3 marshmallows, make sure they have a nice golden color, this sometimes requires a bit of patience and flames that are low .
If mallow goes up in flame, eat separately
I prefer a toasting fork because a stick from a tree can be rough on marshmallo's insides
substitute thin slices of banana for candy bar.
s'more will taste like like wonderful, light as air, warm banana cream pie
( I have tried also pre roasting banana and spreading it on grahm cracker, is not bad but stronger flavor than above )
Is good with cup of cocoa, to add chocolate flavor.
Enjoy!!!!!!!!! Hope they provide comfort and a smile to all in need.

Welcome Elliana and Suz. Glad you found this place. I too had a lumpectomy 4 years ago. Suz did you get your path report yet?
Elliana - good luck tomorrow. Please know that there are many survivors here, you are not alone. Let us know how your surgery turns out.
Well, Fall has finally arrived in Miami. Our temps dropped 40 degrees over night. It's a beautiful, sunny, day with temps in the 50-60's. Sending y'all lots of sunshine.

Wanted to stop and honor one that was part of the circle for a long time. She made us laugh with her stories of her animals and the farm. She showed us courage, strength, and grace in her fight against this disease.
Amy Vinson - she touched many women on this board. To Tucker, Sandy, her mom and sisters, extending our sincere sympathy.

Just checking in after a long absence. SO HAPPY to see a peaceful place again. Have some popcorn and brownies to share. The cider sounds fabulous. Welcome to the newbies. You have come to the right place.

elliana.....feeling better. I had a lot of pain the first 2 days, now just uncomfortable. Drain out Tomorrow 10:15!!!!!!!
Bub-bye-bloody-bulb!
Odalys, no path report, maybe tomorrow. Kinda scared. I know I have one positive node. Dr. said he might call it 1B, but I'm not sure that's possible. (Maybe micro met is different?)
OK ladies, I have a DREAM.
A circle the wagons GTG. There has to be a nice campground in Iowa or Nebraska or SD that could do it next year. Can you imagine. We could put cots in the tents. I'm putting it on the bucket list. There are groups that fund BC retreats. Am I crazy?
I make a great cast iron skillet breakfast.

Snowed in MA today. Didn't accumulate to anything but it was pretty at times.

It is nice to see there are others slowly coming back to this circle. I know I need it today. I quietly walked to the campfire - thank you to whomever kept it's fire blazing. I sat down on a rock and just put my hand to my face - thinking and contemplating. We have lost 3 sisters in such a short time. It's very quiet. Sending out prayers to evreyone who needs them today. For those who lost a very close friend, I send my deepest sympathy.
Today I see my ONC and get the results of my CT scans. Say a little prayer that they come out good. I need to hear good news today.

Suz42~ OUTSTANDING IDEA! There are several campgounds in those states that could accomodate a large group. I lived in each of those states as a child and would be happy to gather info about campgrounds. Funding, I know nothing about! If this IS a crazy idea, it's the best KIND of crazy!

Amy Vinson....I am not familiar with that name......Still too many lost in such a short time.......What was her name here?........Sorry having a hard time typing.....Found out today that my "sprained" wrist is actually a bit worse than that....The doc thinks I may have torn a ligament in my wrist that is akin to the meniscus in your knee.......Just great!.......I tell you I refuse to ask what next!....Oh and BTW I had to buy a new washer and dryer today to teh tune of over $900!......OUCH!........
Does any one have a glass of wine to share?.......0 -

hi ladies, I'm still locked up at home so I started investigating my gtg dream.
It is possible, there are places that do wagon train camping experiences complete with chuckwagon.
If you want to chat more, pm me.
By the way, anyone want a cupcake for breakfast with that joe? Giddyup!

Such good ladies, and you are here whenever I stop by. I've dropped out for a while, but started back a few months ago. Have cried myself tearless over those who we've lost. Am having tests myself right now for back pain. Will know something next Tuesday. Also glad that this fire is still going and the seats around the campfire are as comfortable as I remember.
Blessings to all,
Gracie

Hollyann, amy's name here is lv2cmp, she was a very funny compassionate wonderful woman.
So sorry about your wrist and your washer and dryer, when it rains it pours. I have been getting news from my family that is making me just pray that is all I can do. So much happening with each group and with me. It seems like things go along smoothly for a while and then POW things start happening that causes stress and you have no control over them. But we will make it, we are strong. Footie, I'll take a cup of that coffee and one of those cupcakes. Thanks.
