Oh Deb...I"m so sorry to read this news.  I don't know anything about tumor markers as my oncologist doesn't do them but i'm sending you a hand to hold and a big hug.  Aren't tumor markers considered "unreliable"?

Putting you right in the center of the circle to take care of you.

Hi Kristen and Joyce...we have missed you!  Welcome back.

Off to school...I'm too old for this!

    Love and hugs

Slonedeb, you are not alone, we are with you sending you strength and hope.  My onc does not do tumor markers either since he says they are unreliable.  He is one of the best oncs in my area.  So try not to panic until you know something for sure.  You will be in my thoughts and prayers tonight.

Welcome Jackie!  The Circle sure is a special place, and now that I am back I am not sure why I stayed away so long.  I guess I needed to break away from cancer for a while, but now I find that I want to reconnect and see what I can do to help and support others.  I am glad you found us!

Denise, I PM'd right back atchya!  Your CD will be on its way soon!  My friend Maureen and I worked on it for over a year, so it sure makes me feel good when people are interested besides my family (they don't have a choice LOL!)

Vickie, have you gone back to school?  Good for you!  What are you studying?

Marisa, I am not sure if we have met before (or is it my chemo-brain?).  It is nice to meet you!  Which one in your avatar is you?

Cy, still keeping you at the top of my prayer list.

Hugs to AlwaysHope, and Nicki, and anyone else who may check in!

Where is everyone?  What did I miss?  Is there another thread I should be checking out?

    *Hugs*

    SloneDeb-

Honey, I am sending you a huge hug.  I know that my doc DO NOT TRUST blood test tumor markers.  Many things can make them change that have nothing to do with your cancer getting worse.  Too much tylenol, being dehydrated, lots of things can make them go up.  Try not to stress too much (yeah, I know...next to impossible)  I hope you can put it out of your mind.

Lots of prayers coming your way

    Hugs

    Deb C

Slonedeb...Hugs and extra prayers for you.

CY...love ya and glad you are home!

I am on the phone with Jankay right now and she is happily in in her new room but her new room is not big enough for her computer.  (She's hoping Santa will bring a laptop)She says that her computer would have to be in bed with her and she'd be sleeping with all of us and would rather not as she's not that kind of girl!

Hey to Kristin, Emelee, Odalys, Nicki, Deb, everyone from A to Z.

have a grand and wonderful day

    Good Morning!

Cy: So glad you are home!  Rest and take care!

Slonedeb:  Hugs for you........my Onc does not do tumor markers either so I'm not to familiar with them, but I have heard that there are several non cancer reasons they flucuate.  You can do this!

Kristen:  So glad you are back with us!  We can all say that we "knew her first" when you become a famous singer!!!!

Nicki and Vickie:  Good morning....I'm sure you are both out the door by now!

Deb:  Are you keeping the igloo warm with these temps?  I'd be sleeping all day with the darkness!!

Odalys and Sheri:  A good morning to both of you busy ladies!  Glad you're feeling well!

Jasmine:  Happy Tuesday right back at ya!

Vickie:  Love the conversation with JanKay....I'm glad she was placed in a home.

Nicki:  Thanks for popping back in with our morning sunshine!!  This end of the circle could use some sun!!

The work button has been pushed, so all have a great day!

Just want to mention that Kristin has her CD ready to go!  I've ordered mine.......................remember the sneak preview she gave us a few months ago?  It was great!  Kristin and her friend Maureen have put the CD together with proceeds going to Breast Cancer Research!  Give her a shout and she will let you know how to order it!!

    Hugs,

    Hi Slonedeb,

I haven't posted too much here lately, but I want you to know that I have been praying for you every night and check on you here every day.

I don't understand why your doc can't find a few minutes to see you before 12/4, especially after what your nurse said to you on the phone.  Is it possible to call back and leave a voicemail msg directly for your doctor explaining what the nurse has said to you?  Your doctor may be completely unaware of the conversation you had with the nurse.  In the past, my rad onco nurse has given me info that was completely wrong when I was able to question my doctor.

Please, see if you can leave a voicemail for your doctor to call you back.

I'm thinking of you throughout the day.

    Love

    Brenda in VA aka Bren

    Morning all,

Slone Deb - Thinking of you and praying for you. I agree - please call and push to see your doc. Waiting till next month is just not right!

CY - So glad to hear your home and pain is better controlled. Please get some rest. Praying for you also.

Hi to all. Haven't been around much I know - crazy busy. One bit of happy news. Have a new family member, a 5mo old Lhasa apso that was given to me by a client who didn't have the time to care for her. She is a cutie and is forcing me to get out of the house for walks too.

Wish I had time to address each of you but I have to run in to work.

Hugs to all from A to Z

Slonedeb- I agree with Madison Call that office now. That nurse should not have told you that.Go right to the top. Ask for the doctor and tell him you want to see him as soon as possible. That is cruel to leave you hanging like that.

    I am praying for you.

Slonedeb...my gosh...what a thoughtless, heartless woman to tell you that your liver could be shutting down and then tell you you have to wait till next month for an appointment.  Call them back and demand to be seen or go to the hospital...insist on talking to your doctor...be a squeaky wheel honey...this is YOUR life not theirs and they have no right to put you on the back burner when you need them the most.  You are in my thoughts and prayers...hugs to you.

    Hugs to all

Slonedeb, I want to put my voice with all those who said you should not have to wait to see the dr. after being delivered news like that!  Please, insist on getting an appt., if you can't, there has to be someone who could see you.  Seriously, don't let that nurse get you  down.  If I can help you find someone to see, let me know.  Please take care!

Boo, the puppy sounds cute.  Good to see you!
