Colleen:  Hey girlfriend, so nice to see you here!  I've been wondering about Warren's play.  I remember how worried you were when he couldn't remember his lines early on for practice.  So glad he did well!

    Holy Smokes!

You nailed it Naniam! The only problem would be that the 'bad guys' won't recognize themselves! They have an agenda (kinda soap opra) and have totally lost sight of the target. They are the 'operate behind the scene' email/pm'ers who just love chaos.

I've been a observer of late, know the importance of 'support' because it got me thru.

Jeeze people, don't make me name names!

    All my heart,

    Deese

MB you went to Niagra Falls?? Was there snow on the ground?? how much.  Inches or Feet?  I bet it was cold.

    Colleen, we want pictures!

Brenda, you mentioned there was an increase in posters here.  I know several people who are no longer allowed to post at the Hamptons so I imagine that would account for some of the extra traffic. :)

I know that cassieruns is NOT Cheri.  I don't know why so many of you are so quick to blame her for everything.

I really don't know who is my friend here and who isn't.  That's probably why I don't post much anymore.  This is no longer the circle that I loved and supported.

    see ya.

MB:  How I wish I was at Niagara Falls with you!

    Lisa:  Good pic!

    Jas:  LOL

BMD:  Praying with you my friend

Susan:  I hear ya.  Good point about the increase in posters!

I'm feeling blue and weepy tonight.  This is supposed to be a support site for breast cancer survivors.  The game playing is very old and tiring.  The bashing of certain people over and over is ridiculous.  I just hit my 10th month since my dx and I'm still shocked and amazed at the way some of the sisterhood behaves.

There's a thing called accountability.  The Miriam Webster dictionary defines it as this:

an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one's actions.  So what does Account mean?  A lot of things but the one that applies here is this:  3 a: a statement explaining one's conduct b: a statement or exposition of reasons, causes, or motives  c: a reason for an action.   What does Responsibility mean?  A lot of things and I'll list them all:  1: the quality or state of being responsible: as a: moral, legal, or mental accountability b: reliability; trustworthiness 2: something for which one is responsible: burden <has neglected his responsibilities>

Moral ... now That's a Good word.  What does it mean?  1 a: of or relating to principles of right and wrong in behavior : ethical <moral judgments> b: expressing or teaching a conception of right behavior <a moral poem> c: conforming to a standard of right behavior d: sanctioned by or operative on one's conscience or ethical judgment <a moral obligation> e: capable of right and wrong action <a moral agent>

My point is this.  Those people causing trouble here and those stirring the pot need to just go away.  I'm not here for this.  Only a handful of you are.  Just go away.  You have your place to post and leave the rest of us alone to be here for the right reasons ... to support one another and be supported as breast cancer survivors and fighters.  I am so stressed out over all of this.  I trust the moderators are paying close attention and I thank them for keeping this board safe.  We All deserve a safe place, not just the popular posters or the oldies or the ones who claim they are here to support and love.  In fairness, not a single one of us breast cancer survivors should have to put up with the troublemakers on what is a support site.

Now can we get back to why we're all here please?

You know, for some reason I am feeling really detached from all the hub-bub here lately.  I'm kind of interested in the fact that for some reason, I'm not getting emotionally involved.  From my little perch here, I just want to make a comment....

    Read back a few pages....go ahead...I'll wait.

I want you to count how many folks want all the mess to end.   Virtually every post says they wish everyone would be nice, or that the tension would end.  Almost everyone who is involved thinks that the problem lies with someone else.

Maybe if we all took just a few minutes to turn the lens back at ourselves instead of looking for the flaws in someone else, this could end for good.  I can honestly say that there is not one person on this site that I have gotten to know that I dislike.  There are some folks I can't relate to very well.....so what?  There are plenty of people here.  Everyone can find someone to relate to.

For your reflection, I offer a quote from  "ALL I REALLY NEED TO KNOW I LEARNED IN KINDERGARTEN" by Robert Fulghum:

    • Share everything.
    • Play fair.
    • Don't hit people.
    • Put things back where you found them.
    • Clean up your own mess.
    • Don't take things that aren't yours.
    • Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody.
    • Wash your hands before you eat.
    • Flush.
    • Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
    • Live a balanced life - learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.
    • Take a nap every afternoon.
    • When you go out in the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands and stick together.
    • Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam cup: the roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.
    • Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup - they all die. So do we.
    • And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned - the biggest word of all - LOOK.

Sounds like good advice to me.

    Peace

    Deb C

    Good morning all...

Have a hectic day today. Work from 9am - 9pm. I get 2 hours off for lunch/dinner, so I am going to take it together to visit a cousin who just had a hysterectomy. She is a bc survivor too. She had a fast growing fibroid in her uterus that was larger than a grapefruit. She goes faithfully to her gyn appts each year...but they never saw it, or so they claim. In Oct. she couldn't urinate one day...went to urologist...did a scan and saw this fibroid. So naturally she changed gyns' and hence the hyster. The urol. said the fibroid was leaning on her bladder.

Brenda/BMD good luck with onc appt.

Deb, cool going to school on a snowmobile

    To all...have a wonderful day

    Hugs and prayers,

    Candie

"Finish each day and be done with it.  You have done what you could.  Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can.  Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

"If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other." - Mother Teresa

Good Morning to a New Day and to all of you

Candie:  It always amazes me how large fibroids can be.  Is she on Tamoxifen?  I understand that can cause very fast growing fibroids in the uterus. So sweet of you to visit your cousin in the midst of your long work day.

BMD:  Thinking of you today and sending positive vibes

    Love and hugs to all,

    Charlene

I never stopped totally posting here but in November I am one that found myself in the "spot" of having no where else to post.  There was no one here and often I felt why continue or why care as everyone was off posting elsewhere.

At that time many were posting only at one of the other places and some occasionally at both the other sites from when the changes were made here.  Then one day folks started to arrive and - it was like a tornado went through.   There are lots of us that can no longer post at all the sites that were started - either by our actions or our choice.  There is nothing wrong with the increase in post - when folks come with the purpose being a warm and caring, nurturing nature.

BMD - thinking of you today; I've got the hot chocolate ready.

Its a new day friends.  I say we move forward and not stay in the same old place.  Life is to be lived...fully, not in a vegetative state.  There is new hope, love, and surprise on the horizon.  Let's go for it.  :)

I like that pic Wild jan-We actually had that kind of dusting last night in the good ol south.  Just enough to cause a panic.  it started to rain a little later on and washed it all away but it was pretty to see for a short time anyway.

Susan-glad to see you stopping by.

    Charlene-nice quotes.

    jaz-nice words from you too.

DebC-You said it well as always.

Madison-nice to see you dropping by also.  Pull up a log and sit for a while.  Its been a bit since we have had a good long conversation.

Colleen-thanks for the update on Warrens play.  I bet he was excited after it was over.

Denise-thats a nice name for your grandson.  It sounds important.

Lucy222 dont think we have ever met but welcome to the circle.  I will be in Loganville, GA this weekend and thats not too far from you is it?

ok off to get some work done and try to find the top of my desk.

I was surprised the AccuW mod didn't pick that picture for today...instead he/she picked this one a dusting of snow patterns on the roof. I least expected this one to be picked...I'm sharing the smaller version here. As I expected though he/she is looking for something "different" from me.
