Morning! See...I can quote too!!! Not as well as you, Jackie so don't give up your new job.Leesa...how are you feeling? Laura...you OK now? So many people have fallen to that nasty little tummy bug....I had it too about 10 days ago, but only lasted (only???) about 12 hours.
Your trips sound like fun...let me know when you think you might have a date.
I love that T-shirt! It wouldn't be for me, but I love the one that says "Save Second Base". Takes a minute or so for people to get that one, and we all could wear it! There's actually a website for it as a BC gal and her sisters designed it.
Seems like not too many posts from yesterday....boy as soon as the weather turns, we are all out enjoying. And that's exactly the way it should be. Now they are saying 72 on Wednesday...Yay!!!! Time to try out the new grill. It finally came...at 5:55pm. AND....the garbage co. finally called re: the broken cart and damaged lawn. They never did respond to my 6 phone messages, but I sent them an e-mail Sunday afternoon and that did the trick. They are replacing the cart and resodding my lawn.
Not much else going on....hope everybody is well and happy.
Note to Blackjack...I am an idiot. I put the wrong address on your BD card and I have NO idea re: your anniversary card..it was never returned. So....Happy Birthday! Happy Anniversary. From Princess of Too Stupid for Words.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARIN! I'm sorry but you'll have to accept a plain ol' regular birthday wish from me as I'm technology ignorant when it comes to graphics. I hope you have a great day! How's it feel to be a "tax-day" gal? Enjoy your day! Celebrate our wonderful gift of life and eat lots of cake! Dave's grandson shares your birthday, Karin, so we're heading for Springfield tonight to Chuckee Cheese! I'll have an extra slice of pizza and cake in your honor and think of you! LOL
Wendy...we grilled out last night! Dave got a different job so we celebrated with a nice steak! What a treat after all the chicken and fish that I've been feeding him! My new purchase for the deck this year is going to be one of the wood fire burning pits. I think they are so neat! I haven't found exactly "the right one" yet but I'm still looking. We spend alot of time on the deck, so that and the mosquito plants will ward away the critters in the evening hours this summer.
I hope everyone enjoyed yesterday. I played in the dirt in my flower beds and got a couple of them looking pretty good. I also got about an eighth of the yard cleared of sticks, walnuts, and debris. Hopefully I'll have a little time this afternoon after golf to work a bit more. You notice that golf ranked ahead of yardwork! I'm so anxious to get out on the course on a regular basis.
I'm also going to be working more. I'm writing a trivia book for JH students....based on academic info....and it needs to be ready in late August. I think the laptop and I will be spending several hours on the deck this summer. I'm also contracting to write study guides for practice materials. I hope that this work continues into the winter this year. It will be a good diversion for me during those long, cold months.

Sunshine, wonderful sunshine....and plenty sent to the birthday girl Karin.
Have to work ( back in the woods cleaning ) today but will be done early afternoon. Had to take some Tylenol last night but I don't consider that I have much of a problem....just one place across the lower back.....backs are pretty large. Just can't get too excited over one small place.
Rita, you sound like such a hard worker--maybe not always in the yard but you are right---there are priorities. I'll be glad when I can feel and maybe even be much more industrious than I am now. Let's see....I think about it a lot....even sometimes plan a little. Then I wise up, get in my recliner and take the edge off with a nap.
Wendy, my dear.....you can't be stupid, your too nice and the trouble is...we only have so much brain space....when we fill that up we tend to forget things or mix them up somehow. You have lots of other Princesses' as friends.

Kater, do you take 1200 mg calcium, 1000 U vit D AND magnesium 500mg as supplements? Do you also take a multi-vitamin? I am looking at my calcium, d and magnesium intake and I get some of them in my multi-vitamin. If I take an addl 1200,1000 & 500 I am concerned I will be taking too much. Maybe I should discontinue my multivitamin....

The pics are fantastic........and Jan Clare I think you could almost do (model ) what you do for a living. You really have it going on. I also think from listening to you....you have a good sense of style...and what is right for you. Your definitely a big winner in my book. I have no style---clothing, home furnishings etc. It's ok though because I'm happy---my eclectic jumble keeps me going for what I imagine is truly important in my life....beating bc, keeping tuned into my spiritual side and keeping the feral animals taken care of along with a bit of recycling.
The day's work almost did me in...shouldn't have done it, but made the mistake of thinking I could---why??? who knows. But I didn't want to leave half way through so I completed it.....and am now really exhausted. Going to take care of the ferals.....and that will finish off what little I have left, but ah---I will be happy for getting it all done. Off tomorrow so I can catch up a fair amt. for my work day on Thurs and Fri.

Been awhile since I wrote. I am still in Ramallah/West Bank/Israel.
Hope your biopsy goes well, Blackjack! I like what I read on one of these threads, Don't get on the worry train until you bought the ticket.
Leesa, hope you are recovering. I thought I read you are going to Las Vegas or someplace like that. Don't spend all your money. Look at me, I use $20 to $40 worth of quarters at the casino, and I feel guilty. Maybe that would be a nice gettogether. Lunch at the Casino in Elgin.
See everyone seems to be doing well, rads and treatment. Laura, hope your foot is better.
I would have liked to hike through the jungle in Belize!
Our friend in Minnesota was snowed in for two days! Weird weather.
Next week we have company coming and we are going to stay at a fancy hotel on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. It is beautiful and I will send pictures.
