Happy Birthday Michele!  Enjoy your day!

Yes - the walk was lots of fun.  I am glad that I did it and I am glad that my daughter was able to come and finish!  She started complaining about mile 1, but I really wanted her to finish.  It was great to see Rita, Laura and JanClare - I don't remember seeing Sharon!  Laura - thanks for coordinating the team.

Wendy - good to hear from you - I was getting worried.  I sure hope dh is feeling better and is able to come home.

I am heading to jury duty tomorrow.  Wish me luck that I don't get stuck on some long trial!

Wendy - best wishes to you & dh, I hope everything just gets completely better.  The cardiac stuff is scary as he** & I'm wishing you the very best.

Michele - HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you!!! I hope you have a wonderful day, you are such a sweetheart & deserve it.

Jule - glad you are home & things sound like they are going pretty well.  I finally removed my steri strips after 4 weeks - I was waiting for them to come off but they didn't.  By then, it didn't hurt, either.

Connie -  Jury duty.... bleh.  Yes, I know it's our duty, etc... but  - I'm hoping you get to go home the same day ;)

Smerf - hope that leak is nothing serious.  I know you're house has been a construction zone for a good long time.

Jackie - when flying, you are only allowed to carry on ONE quart size plastic ziploc bag for your toiletries/cosmetics.  I mistakenly thought it was okay to have several.  Luckily the agent was female & understood my needs for cosmetics, etc.....   so she crammed everything into one bag (though technically it should be able to "move freely within the bag").   Just wanted to stress this point - the website wasn't clear about that, at least for me.

I know I didn't get everyone on this post - but I have to go call my mom & see how she is doing.  Her health is terrible & I worry about her a lot.

    Take care - Hugs, JulieA

IMPORTANT: Would any of you be interested/willing to volunteer on behalf of Komen at a bc fund raiser at Famous Dave's on Randall Road in Algonquin? You would need to be there at any of the following times on Oct 10th and/or 11th: arrive @ 11am and stay until 2:30 or arrive @ 5pm and stay until 8:30 or both. They need some survivors to process donations and thank people for their contributions. It could be fun and they'll feed us lol. I think I will be doing both times on the 10th. And the earlier time on the 11th. Let me know ASAP...I have to let Komen know.

    ------------------------------------------------

JulieA - I'm sorry about your mom...I hope she's better soon. And btw...pm me your new last name and I'll update the Illinois Addy List (and address if you're moving).

    Hi,

I live in Urbana, IL. I was diagnosed with multifocal IDC in Dec. 06. Had mastectomy Jan. 07. Did A/C, taxol and herceptin--14 months of treatment total. Did delayed DIEP reconstruction on left side July 3, 08 and trying to decide what to do to finish up reconstruction. I'm 39, married, with a four-year-old son.

Welcome to the Illinois thread!  We're glad you found us!  You and I were going through our treatments at about the same time, I guess.  I didn't do any reconstruction so I can't help you on that issue, but I'm sure one of the other gals will give you some feedback about this.

You are so young!  It really disturbs me that so many young gals like you have to go through this. It seems like this disease is hitting more and more people at earlier ages or else I am just more aware of what's really going on now in the bc world.

I bet your four year old son keeps you busy.  My oldest grandson is four and he's constant motion!  Still...I wouldn't trade him for anything else!  LOL

Please join right in here.  I think you'll find the gals on this site very helpful.  You're not too far away from Wendy the Younger, Ginny, and me.  Did you do all your treatments in Champaign?  Tell us a little more about yourself and drop in often.  We ALWAYS have room for one more on this thread!

Morning!  Well....the cardiac kid is home.  He is still having atrial flutters which is new for him, but to be expected with his new med.  He is actually up and showered and heading off to school for a half-day.  No....I don't think he should be going BUT....the school nurse is there all day on Tuesdays and he is  only 10 minutes away from CentralDuPage Hosp. so I guess it will be fine.  Maybe I will go back to bed!  I am sooooo sleep-deprived!  The poor thing tho!  He has a metal allergy and from the EKG leads he has WELTS!!!!!  They tried the paper leads but his skin is oily so they kept falling off.  The last time these welts lasted about 2 months.

Laura....I can do the early times either or both days, assuming of course that DH doesn't come down with something else!  OH....and I think I caught something from you!  I did nothing unusual but my R ankle HURTS!!!!  And then it goes away...and then it HURTS!!!  I did take my first step class in about 8 years tho....hmmmmmmmm......

    Mich101....hope your BD was great!

Smerf....a leaky ceiling?????  Hopefully this will be a quick fix for you!

Peg...welcome!  I was dx'd in 11/2006 and I'm Her2+ as well!  I only (only????) had a lumpectomy so I can't help you with reconstruction.  Please tell us a bit more about yourself.  And I agree with Rita....you are waaaaaaaay too young for this.  Heck...I am way too young!  We all are way too young!

JulieA....so, how's married life?  And how's your Mom?  I didn't realize that she had some health concerns.

Jackie....don't forget that you will have to take off your shoes so wear something easy to get off!  As far as liquids this last time we just went to Walmart and bought what we needed.

Everybody else I have missed....hope you are doing as well as you can....the sun is out, DH is out of the hospital, and today will be a good and better day for me and I wish the same for all of you!

Good morning Smile I think yesterdays rain is done with and it will be a nice day.  Have to go to Mt. Vernon this morning.  Will do a couple of things while I am there.  B Dalton's always lures me in when I go.  I think there is another Eckert Tolle book --- maybe two that I need to investigate along with whatever else is currently residing in the store.

Sure glad you have your fellar' back home Wendy.  The worst thing in the world to us ( we don't really focus on it that way when it's actually us ) is to have a loved one sick.  Don't know why we think we can deal with it better somehow.  Maybe the old male=/macho, but I am truly bothered in ways I don't feel when it's me, when I have to watch/help Denny while he is sick.  Tom probably needed that "things" are really much closer to right in my world when I do things like I always do--one of which is to go to work.  I always looked forward to my work during treatment as it "normalized" life and sort of took me out of the realm of being a person in treatment.  How 'sick' can you be if you can go to work.

Do have one question....will these 'flutters' be a lasting part of this or cease after a while.  I think I would not like that much if they stay.  Also, what is step class?

Ok, got to think about getting ready to go.....Bet there is a nice lunch out in my future today.

    Talk to ya'll later.

Wendy, I know you are feeling better. You obviously have a very loving relationship with your husband and I know this must have worried you. I agree with Jackie, that he needed to be at work for his own mental health...a way to control something he has very little control over.  The best thing for me (maybe not for my co-workers) was to continue work at school thorugh my treatments.  I know now though, that having done that and being where I am age-wise, I would never do that again.  It was doable ONCE.  Illness can be so isolating!

We are off school today because of the Jewish holiday. I am still in my nightgown.  I think retirement will agree with me. My daughter came up with a clever idea regarding retirement.  She suggested I write out a list of the 100 things I want to do within the firsttwo years of retirement and do that now, with the idea that I follow through with comments on the experience.  Silly things, like gassing up my own car (we have a joke in the family that I always ask my DH to do that) and bigger things, like visiting Ellis Island (which I have always wanted to do).  I might stay in my nightgown today and jot down some ideas.

I am attending a  concert in Hyde Park on the 10th, so being in Algonquin will not work, Laura.   I sure would love to  see you.  I pm'ed you about another idea.

Hi Peg - Welcome! I'm sure you've checked out the reconstruction forum. I'm a BIG CHICKEN! Had bilat- Masts but NO reconstruction. Best wishes to you...I'm sure the reconstructed gals here will chime in.

Wendrew - I am so happy dh is home and up and about. So scary...thanks so much for volunteering! I'll sign us up for both days - morning arrival. THANK YOU. I think we'll have fun. I'm going to wear my shirt that says: YOU BET THEY'RE FAKE...MY REAL ONES TRIED TO KILL ME! Hang in there...let dh know we're all wishing him well. And don't be doing anything to initiate those flutters Wink! Speaking of which...I sent you something...it's SO FUNNY! You'll see what I mean when you receive it!

Well gals...have a great day. btw - on October 6th I get sworn in as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. I still have 3 more - 3 hour classes...it's been a TON of learning...but really very interesting. I will be assigned to a "case" soon...I am quite nervous, but our supervisors are all pschycologists...very experienced and available to us 24/7. Today I have to hit the garden and cut down the perrenials. I'm still freaked out about the bees out there, but I have to try to overcome my new found fear. Wish me luck...I hate those little bastar**! lol Be well, be happy, and just bee! lol

    Hi all

The pics from the walk look great- for some reason, they just today decided to upload. Wish I could have joined everyone.

Second week of recovery and just starting to get a bit stir crazy. My husband is recovering too- thank you for all the kind wishes regarding him as well.  He's been off for a bit and is starting to drive me a bit nuts.  (He eats ALL DAY! Guy is skinny as a rail, but seriously- he eats the whole darn day!  So that's where all our stuff is going!)  I guess that's a good sign-- we are getting back to "norm" as we are starting to get on each other's nerves a bit.

Saw the PS again on Saturday. Good news is that the skin is holding up and healing well-- he was not certain about the first time I saw him. Said whatever I'm doing is working. But, there's definitely another procedure in my future as the implant is too far to my side. It's strange getting used to this- feels like a softball has been glued to my chest. The other side is healing as well- but the itchy kind of healing. I have all sorts of stitches that have to be removed.  The reduction required the "anchor" type incisions and wow, it goes from one end of my breast to the other side, underneath. I finally had the courage to look at it with a mirror. Thank God it will eventually be hidden under the fold.   I'm frankly surprised I haven't had a complete meltdown- stoic still. Feel like it's yet to come....

We have to take my 6 yr old to the pediatrician today. He's just recovered from a mild case of "hand, foot & mouth"-- had only a few symptoms and we didn't even realize it until they had almost disappeared.  But he's started with some strange symptoms-- occasional intense blinking and squinting of his eyes, which he says don't hurt, but "bother him," and a headache above the ear on one side that has gone on now for 3 days. He went to bed with it and woke up with it this am. I doesn't appear to be debilitating- it subsides or he forgets about it- but then it's back and he's complaining.  I'm praying- quite seriously- that this doesn't turn into the start of something more dangerous....

JuliChicago...So good to hear that both you and hubby are on the mend. Getting on each other's nerves is a positive sign in this case. I'm hoping that there is nothing serious going on with your son. There is nothing worse than that, and I am seriously joining you in that prayer. Let us know, please.

    Hugs, Pat

Looks like you had a great day at the walk, perfect weather.  I had a Christening for my new nephew on Saturday.  I plan on joining you next year!

Peg, I had a bi-lateral mastectomy on March and still have my expanders.  I will get implants, I am guessing some time after the first of the year.

My final rads is this Thursday.  There are parts of my that are actually purple looking.  No much pain.  I am still numb from the surgery, so I think that helps.  I am going to miss my walk to the hospital.  It is about three miles round trip and has been my exercise for the past few weeks.  It will be nice to take a lunch hour though.  I am taking a vacation day on Monday

I am so glad that the Julies are done with surgery and on their way to recovery.  Hopefully all the husbands will catch up.

I currently have a thick coating of hair on my whole head, I am guessing I will wear the wig about 2 more weeks.  For those who have lost hair, how long, if ever, until your old hair color comes back.  I have the super light hair that came in first and then the dark hair mixed in.  It is like the color of a mouse right now.  A gray look, but not actual gray hair. I used to get my hair highlighted occassionally, but never had it colored regularly, so I am not sure what I will do with it.

Take care everyone!  GO WHITE SOX!!!

    Good morning,

Latest update on my son--- turns out it is nothing serious- he had gone to one of these "pump it up" trampoline places for a bday party on Sunday and my husband recalled he was throwing himself all around and down a slide in particular. The headaches are likely a result of neck strain- not unlike after going on a roller coaster. They are actually worse at night/am as there is more blood flow to the area when lying prone. Or so hypothesized.  Pediatrician indicated that if there was something more nefarious going on that he would be exhibiting other neurologicial symptoms. As for the eye blinking thing-- could be dry eyes or eye strain now that he's in school again. I'm as blind as a bat and wonder if he may be starting to show signs of near-sightedness as well. Next step, eye doc.  Tim said he had no headache this am-- so, phew!  So-- sorry for the panic.  Just so much has happened lately-- it's hard not to jump there right away anymore.

Lisamed-- ah yes, the "mouse hair"- I remember that well.  My normally dark brown hair came in greyish at first as well.  The pigment did kick in a while later though and returned to brown. I do recall, however, getting it colored when it was about an inch long or so. Had to repeat often-ish that first year, but it made me feel better about it in the meantime.

    Hi girls -

Wendy - so glad you are home.  I hope DH continues to feel better.  How scary!

Lisa - yeah - almost done with rads!!  You will be surprised at how quickly your skin clears up.  Yes, your hair will come in white, then gray - I've heard it called battleship gray and thought that was appropriate, but mouse colored sounds good too!  My hair is dark and it wasn't too long before that gray turned back to my normal dark color.  I know it looked normal when I decided to take off my wig.    My hair started coming back last December and I took my wig off in the beginning of April.   Speaking of wigs, I opened the cabinet below my sink last week and there was my wig sitting on it's holder.  I shuddered.  I seriously want to have a wig burning party.  I hated that thing.

Julie - thinking about your son.  Glad you and dh are feeling better.  I think I have future surgery to deal with as well as my implant side isn't really in my armpit, but the radiated skin has made it look smaller then my good side.  It's not super noticeable, but it bothers me every day.

Welcome, Peg.   It's a great group here.  I had a single mastectomy with reconstruction on one side.  I had an expander which was later replaced with a silicone implant last March.

Jackie - you asked what step is.  It is a form of exercise where you are basically stepping up and down off of a small platform to music in a routine fashion.  You can make it higher or lower depending on your level.   Speaking of step - does anyone have Wii Fit?  I just got it last week for my birthday and I love it!  I have done it every day and it is addicting.  You get yoga, strength, aerobic and balance exercises to do.  It has a step class in there too!  You even get your own personal trainer.  My kids don't understand why I picked the male trainer - I keep telling them that he is cute!  Ha.

Susan - love the list idea - be sure to share!

     Enjoy the day everyone!

Good morning everyoneSurprisedBrrr, chilly out this a.m.  That's all I'm gong to say about that.  Thanks for the info Connie.  I have thought about those "Steps" a long time back but have been hoping that I could get back to walking a couple miles a day....and still not sure my feet are going to cooperate well.  Sigh !!!!  For me walking was always an excellent exercise and I really miss it.  It took me out of myself ---  hope this does not sound silly to anyone, but at some point while walking I usually get the feeling of being so in tune with myself and the world I'm walking through at the moment that a sense of inner peace just settled on me.  Guess if I had to 'look' for another form of exercise it would be something that was able to help me achieve that same feeling.

Glad as well to hear the talk about hair.  I'm not sure if mine is on track or not.  It's gotten thicker but has not grown overmuch it seems.  Am thinking of a haircut, but mainly  for the wispy aspects and evening out rather than any length.  I'm rushing things more than likely --- it only really started back in --  very lightly in April and was not seeming to be much of a progression there until at least May or June.  So, I'm sure it's on track and just seems to be taking over-long to me.

Julie/Chicago......glad to hear your son seems fine.  It's lousy when our loved ones are not well and when it's your child that can set panic in awfully quick. I don't blame you a bit.

Hope you all have a fantastic day.  I'll be checking in later.

Good afternoon everyone!  Brrr...........It sure feels like Fall is on the way!

Connie, you have it!  GO CUBBIES!!!!  I'm so upset because I can only watch a ltitle of the game tonight before I have to do youth group.  Boo Hoo!!!  It looks like dinner tonight will be served on TV trays in the family room!  LOL

Lisa...neat avitar!  Just think!  It won't be long and you'll be DONE!  Doesn't that sound good?

Julie Chicago...glad to hear that your son's problems are not serious.  You don't need any more stress in your family right now.

Wendy...hope all is going well at your house!  Thinking about you and hubby!

Got to get to work here!  I'll hopefully get back later!

Jackie - I too felt like my hair took FOREVER to come back.  As I mentioned, it was a good 5-6 months before I got rid of the wig. And even then it was sooo short.  But now, about 5 months after getting rid of it, I feel like I look like somewhat of a normal person with just short curly hair.  Get a cut - it will make you feel much better.  I did this and was surprised at how unevenly it was growing back.  It felt better to have it evened out.

Thanks Connie.  I think I was starting to feel a little paranoid about the hair thing.  I have to remember to be satisfied with what comes.....fast or slow because at least it's coming.  I met a gal in our local Wal-Mart a few months ago who had very short, very attractive hair after her txs.  But she indicated that it was all the longer her hair had grown when it came back.  I guess I have been secretly worried ( not even admitting to myself ) that I would not get enough ( ability to grow long again ) hair back.   Ok Connie.....I believe you and because of that it is still possible to get my red curly hair.  I'm done worrying bout' that.  Have to say though that it would be nice to be in California with just a wee bit more......but ok.   This is perfect just the way it is now.

Now I can go obsess ( just kiddin' ) about something else.  Thanks, I did NEED that.

You girls are my most definite blessing.

A little late, but thanks to everyone for the kind birthday wishes. DH and I went to Lake Geneva and toured the Black Point Estate. I thought about Blackjack and how wonderful her summers must be on that lake and in the town.

I see the onc. next week for a followup appt., if I didn't already have an appt, I would need to make one. The past few weeks  I have been struggling with anxiety issues and have been very emotional, not about cancer, but everything else. I'm thinking it may be a side effect of tamoxifen. I checked other threads and seems others have had similar reactions. I'll see what the Dr. thinks.

Jackie-My hair came in mousy too. A cut and coloring does help.

Laura-You definitely are an inspiration. You are so full of energy and always giving to others.

Julieb-Glad your son is doing better.

    Everyone else-wishing you wonderful days.

Thanks Rita for the compliment on my picture, it took me this long to figure out how to post it.  It is with my DH and it was taken at Walt Disney World last year.  I have some good pictures with my wig on in e-mails, I may try to figure out how to post those.

Connie, I have a Wii Fit also.  I do like it alot.  Before bc I did work out regularly.  After rads are done and I do not have my daily 3 mile walk, I have to get back to working out.  I have about 8 extra lbs from chemo.  I had lost 40 pounds three years ago and kep it off, so the extra weight from chemo is really bothering me.  I may start working out this weekend and going with just my hair.  Truthfully, I have not been going very much because of the hair/hat thing and seeing people I know from growing up and not wanting to talk to them about my bc.  I live in the area I grew up in and do see people at the gym that I know.  We have a lot of people who grew up in this area and come back after having a family.

My husband is going to the Cubs game tomorrow night.  Last year we went to the playoff game and sat in the bleachers.  I think it was about 100 degrees heat index and I was miserable.  I do not care if they go to the World Series, I am not sitting in the bleachers again.  If they play the White Sox in the World Series, I may eat those words!

    Everyone, have a good day.

Hi girls.....I'm back from LV to this unbearable cold weather..Just yesterday I was sitting at the pool in 98 degree hot hot weather and lovin it. Brrr it is cold. Well I have to say I have had a terrible 2 weeks. This pnueumonia sucks the life right out of you. I had an asthma attack on the plane..that was very scary when you can't breathe and you have no where to go. The steward was very nice and kept everyone away from me. After about 30 min after taking all my drugs I felt sl. better. I was determine not to do the ER run while on vacation. I rested for the next 2 days and felt better. All in all the trip was good and I even won a little to bring back!!

The No Surrender team pics look great. Thank you girls for walking for all of us.

Wendy..Sorry to hear that dh had a bad time with the ticker. I hope he is on the mend now..and for you are you getting any rest.

Laura..Connie you both looked so cute in your tees. As did the children too.

Smerf..how are you doing? Hope you are all dried out now. I see that they didn't change the sign yet for RNS. I was there to noc for my breast MRI.

Rita..did you get any shopping done while you where here Sat. And yes GO CUBBIES !!!

Jackie..are you packed yet to go see your family. I bet you are sooo excited. Just think it is almost here, yeah!!!

Juliechicago..glad to see that the whole family is feeling better. sending you big healing hugs to stay healthy.

Mich101..tamox does have side effects that affect your emotions. You may want to ask for something to help with anxiety or maybe therapy may help. I went to therapy during my rads tx and it did help a bit for me.

To everyone who had birthdays..happy belated birthday wishes to you.

Well I am off to due laundry and then bed. I hope everyone stays warm with this fall weather upon us. Boating season is finally over until next year.

    Remember to be healthy...be happy

I just got back from the oncologist and everything came out fine.  He is still concerned about the left auxillary lymph node so I will be having a pet scan to see what that is all about.  I will see him next month for a followup.  I go back to work tomorrow.  I can't wait.  I am so bored at home.

Hope everyone is doing good and you all are in my prayers...

    Morning All!

Mich101....I am on arimidex so I don't know about anxiety issues.  I am so sorry that along with everything else, you must deal with these se's.  Hopefully you can get something to take while your body adjusts to the tam.  Once again, I am reminded how truly lucky I was to suffer virtually no se's from any of my treatments.  Not sure why I lucked out...but I have been the poster child for bc tx's!  Now....my sciatica is a whole 'nother story!  Hang in there honey!  The days will get brighter again!

Jackie...I swore up and down that I would NEVER cut my hair again as it took soooooo long (esp.  the bangs) to come back.  BUT......I finally relented and got it "evened out" and then colored.  It looked so much better!  Really!  And as for Connie's description of step, well, that may be true in her case.  In my case it is this stupid plastic board which sits on stupid plastic risers which raise it up a bit off the floor and you do stupid exercises to stupid music all in an effort to get stupidly in shape - except that I always get to thinking about something else and trip over it, fall over it and somebody please help me as I can never remember my R from my L foot!

Blackjack....how scary to get an asthma attack on the plane!  But it sounds like you managed to salvage quite a bit of your vacay.  How did your tests come out?  Is St. Joseph providing his magic for your house?

Laura....I don't have a special T to wear but I guess it really doesn't matter!

Lisamed....you are rad-grad today!  YAY!!!!!!!!  It will be soooo nice tomorrow not to have to go!  And oh...dear....I see you made a teeny typo in your post.  I am SO SURE that you meant to type "Go Cubbies!"

Julie Chicago...sounds like all things are getting back to normal!  Or as we say around here..."the NEW normal"!

The Cardiac Kid has been going to school every day and so far is feeling fine.  He has to have a stress test next Thursday as this new drug can cause new problems so keep your fingers crossed.  BUT.....if he wakes me one more time at 4AM to tell me how good he is feeling I will have to murder him.  I think it would be justifiable.  Or I could just blame it on bc.  But then again...I guess I will just smack him silly as I do need the insurance!!!!!  (See Susan?  We do have a special loving relationship - justifiable homicide and smacking aside!)

Hope everyone else is doing well....bit chllly but all-in-all a beautiful fall day.  Enjoy!

    Hello Illinoisans!

About a year ago, I had a mastectomy (DCIS with necrosis, in 3 places), and I remember being so scared!  I posted several questions here at the time.  I want to take a moment and say that without this forum, it would have been so much harder.  I got good information.  And the info was so different than the information I got from people who hadn't been through it. I think women who have been through this understand that there's no such thing as "no big deal" when it comes to ancer, that you have to do what you have to do, and most importantly, that everyone is different.

I'm delighted to report that my case turned out well.  I had a mastectomy on one side, got reconstruction (and a little "makeover" on the other side), and things turned out fine.  I'm taking tamoxifen, but I'm not sure if I want to continue due to the increased risk of other reproductive cancers.  I feel good, I look good (at least my husband says so), and I'm so grateful.

During my experience, I was shocked at the number of relatives who "knew" what I should do, and who spoke to me like I was "doing breast cancer wrong".  Some people really want to put you in a box!  I hiked and biked before my surgery, and went into it feeling super strong.  That's what worked for me.  I didn't tell a lot of people I was having a mastectomy, because I didn't want the "boob stare" (people checking out your chest).  I thought, if I don't tell them it's different, they won't notice.  And I'm so glad I handled it this way.  I knew what was best for me!  Telling everyone on your block and everyone at your church works very well for some people, but it's not my style, and my way worked for me.

The mastectomy recovery was not too bad.  The hardest part was going to the doctor over and over for the reconstruction process.  I hate going to the doctor!  Dealing with medical people so much, eventually feeling like a number, or being treated like a "bad" patient because I had so many questions -- it was all hard.  I became known as The Patient with Questions.  My doctor finally said "You know, some people just accept whatever I give them!"  I thought, and those people feel like victimes.  I felt 100% that my healthcare was my responsibility, and I think it's one of the reasons I did so well.  But let's face it, medical people find that annoying!  I watched everything they did, and made sure everything was okay, because I felt it was my job to take care of me.

Other than dealing with the "I'm doing it wrong -- and I'm a bad patient" aspect, things really went quite well.  I'm happy with my actions.  I can't believe it's one year later!  I wanted to say that I'm so glad this forum was here.  I got invaluable info!

    Thank you!
