Thanks for sharing, Marsha, so glad you have such a great group of people around you... Take care (I am running out of the door).

Hello everyone. Wanted to share my good news. The bone scan and ct scans were all negative Whooooo Hooooo Yipeeee. This is such a big deal for me because I have had it in my head that it had already spread and was planning my final days. Tomorrow my daughter is off and we are planning a backyard fire in the pit and some beverages!!
Leah, I have to say I am so darn jealous of the hair and going topless. It really looks great. I don't have any hair. I tried to take a picture like everyone does each week. But when I looked at the first pix the flash just bounced off my shiny head and all you can see is a big white blob. Today is two weeks since my last chemo so maybe soon.
Carynn-never took a birth control pill, so go figure. Good luck on the genetic testing. I have just begun t explore it. My DD wants me to take the test. Your surgery date is right around the corner!
Marsha-loved the pictures! You looked like you were having a blast. Somehow I think we all wish we lived near enough to you for a visit. You have a positive and warm sense about you.
Hillary- I can barely drive home from work I am so exhausted. I have to turn the ac on full blast, stereo blaring all to keep from falling asleep. My boss was talking to me today and I swear I was falling asleep. She just kinda looked at me funny.
Hillary, now that I feel better I hope to start going to more of the Wellness classes here. I tried the support group but I was always so sick I could not sit there for two hours.
OK, my brother who has helped me through all of this. Drove me to dr apts, there after surgery....is on vacation and asked me to watch his house. My sweet nephew has a large lizard. I went over there tonight to feed it and -----it is dead. What do I do now???
Putting the impact of telling my nephew to the side for now and going to go think about negative scans!!
Hugs to all still in chemo. (((((((Hugs))))))

Hi girls...had to take an hour to catch up! Flew home yesterday from Myrtle Beach....had a wonderful relaxing time. Slept in everyday, my sisters did the cooking. Just relaxed. I am still tired... I guess the chemo has caught up with me. One more next Thursday.
Interesting to read your thoughts on the pill. I only took it for about 5 years in early 20's. But I did go on HRT at age 40 for hot flashes and premature menopause. Took that for 7 1/2 years...and I am ER+, so I was told to quit that "cold turkey" the day I was diagnosed. Hence, the hot flashes returned with a vengeance. I will always wonder. Although my mom's sister had BC at age 37 in 1974. And my mom's dad's sister had it at age 86 or so...both are still living and I plan to follow in their footsteps.
Well...I have a lot of unpacking and things to do around this house..
Catherine...looks like I have lettuce and spinach ready to eat...just might have a salad for dinner!
Will check back soon...also have to keep up with the Crispy Cruisers...can't let you get too far ahead of me.

Karen, GREAT NEWS!!!! so happy for you (planning our final days is a good exercise, since that the only thing we know for sure: life is an adventure we don't get out alive... ) Enjoy your week-end and celebrate... Hugs...
Terry, I wish I had started a veggie garden, but I am torn apart between taking more running space from the doggies or growing veggies in a very sunny spot... Too busy now... back full speed into translation... Enjoy your greens... there nothing like home grown... I just have herbs for now (and WF next door...:)). Take care, glad you had this break in such a lovely place... almost the end of the chemo... cheers...
CatherineH0 -
Karen - great news for you. I believe a celebration is in order
Marsha - your party pics are awesome.
Hillary - I don't know that Nioxin is helping and I sure hope it's not hindering. I certainly wouldn't do a testimonial for it. I think I paid $16 for the bottle and with no hair, it takes so little that it's going to last a long, long time. I guess I just want to get to Leah's growth so badly . . . I think the best growth aid is probably patience (which I DON'T have)!
Terry - welcome home - good to hear you had a relaxing visit - you deserve it. The lettuce and spinach sound wonderful. I'm (also impatiently) waiting for my tomatoes to ripen - I have 19 on one plant. They're getting pretty big but haven't started to ripen yet. I do have 3 or 4 jalapeno peppers ready to pick and a serrano pepper plant just loaded with blossoms.
Hope you all have a super weekend - I'm off to do some more landscape work.
Hugs!

My girlfriend took me for a pedicure and lunch yesterday as we are going to the Women of Worth gala tonight. The girl doing my toes was Vietnamese and she said in her country to make hair grow faster to use a TANGERINE. The natural oil in the skin of it.
So, knead a tangerine and then rub the skin of it on your head and the oils are suppose to help in hair growth!! That is what she said, I swear.0 -
Phyl,
When it starts coming in, it seems slow, and then all of a sudden, it seems to be a daily growth that you can see! It is now sticking up in what looks like tiny ocean waves. I will see if I can get DH to take another picture. Since I too have been L"orealing for years, I have no idea how gray I really am. The LGFG lady told me to go ahead and dye it if I wanted now, so I am going to at some point this weekend. Though it grows out so fast, the whites are right back. But that is so not me! I;ll let you know how it turns out!
On another my interesting turn of events, I kind of decided I liked the "clean look" in the bikini area, so I may go explore how to do that. I know, I am a nutcase!
Though the hair is all back in the armpits, the rad nurse said that the rads will take care of the right pit for me, and I could worry about the other one!
What a journey... never would have predicted ANY of this!
Laughing at myself big time!0 -
Well, something is sprouting in the air, here, or is it in the hair? Definitely a fuzz, but not very visible and very white (I never "l'Orealed" anything, and was 1/3 salt and pepper, 2/3 dark/auburn)... I am going around topless more often at home, even in the yard because it feels so good... getting hot already, it's 9, I need to take Toby who already stops to laydown on every lawn freshly mowed and watered, in the shade, to rest... He swallowed half a loaf of good WF freshly baked sourdough bread... needless to say he got sick the following night and is on a strict diet from now on... children...:)
Will be back... thinking of you all and wishing you a lovely week-end... nothing to report on the tamox front: no pain or anything funny other than the hot spells that are not even that bad...0 -
Hi,
Lazy afternoon, so I thought I'd drop by for a check to see how we all are doing.
Karen -- Wonderful news on your scan results!
Marsha -- Let us know if the tangerine works! And if it does, you'll have to send us each a crate from FL!
Leah -- On the clean front, I'm thinking of starting to wax my legs (once the hair actually comes in!). I typically shave, as I hate the dark stubble on my legs. But, I figure that the new hair will be sparse and waxing keeps it sparser, so maybe it will work.
Terry and Phyl -- I'm so jealous of the vegetable gardens ... actually, I'm jealous of the fresh vegs, as I'm not a great gardener.
Catherine -- I never L'orealed anything either until I had my had colored when I got my short "chemo" cut. I got such compliments on the cut and color that I think that I'm going to color as soon as possible. Not sure whether I'll try L'oreal or go to my trusty hairdresser ...
All I've got for next week's bar is on Thursday 21 June: Terry's last TCH and Carynn's surgery. Let me know if I'm missing anything folks ...
Hugs to all,
Hillary0 -
Our trike is finally home!
Trike will be finished with trike running boards after we get back. Darn thing sounds like a sewing machine to me! This is hubby in the driver's seat.
0 -
Oh Jan, it is so cool! When is your trip?0
-
We leave wednesday, hubby is still on crutches so have to figure out how to haul them with us yet. Got the trailer's wires all hooked up with a new plug on the trike's wires. It was a bit funny riding because this bike sounds like a sewing machine when she hums along, doesn't rumble like the other bike. I refused to follow hubby home in the truck while he got used to the trike. Didn't want him making me more nervous about getting back on the bike for the first time in a year. He was handling it just fine when he got home with it so I hopped on for a 5 mile ride around the neighborhood. Felt like riding a recliner chair LOL!

Hi all
Well, thank goodnes thats all over. Had final taxol on Thursday. All went well, was really tired during chemo. DH rang at one point and I could hardly talk as it had really hit me. Slept all day Friday, then Saturday saw the bone pain start. It is still really bad but least its the last time I hope.
Marsha, loved the party photos. Will think about parties in a couple of weeks.
Hair report: Will be really interested to see how long it will be until the hair begins to grow again. The eyebrows have gone toatally. I am not impressed with the white fuzz that now covers my head, the family are quite sure it had got thicker recently but I am hoping that it isn't indicative of the colour that my hair will regrow. I will certainly be colouring it as soon as I can.
Tomorrow, Monday, I have to go for my radiation simulation at the early hour of 7.45am. Hardly have time to finish one tx before the next gets underway. Should start treatment in about 4 weeks.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend
Alyson0 -
I love reading all of your stories! It's so nice to be able to hear the joy at the end of chemo in so many posts!
Alyson - congratulations on the end of taxol. I had my fifth of twelve (with herceptin) on Friday - I am 2/3 way through chemo. No side effects except weird bowels, slightly runny/bloody nose. Eyebrows seem to be coming back quickly (they had almost gone), and have white fuzz all over my head - by bc aussie sisters have told me not to get too excited, they reckon taxol can play tricks on you, I still might lose eyebrows and eyelashes (again/even more) and still might not keep the fuzz - for may of them it all went again after their taxol finished. Anyone here experienced that?
Leah - I love the sound of the waves in your hair.
I am still at the bar every Friday for the next 7 weeks - last one on Aug 3(did I say seven? Man, that feels good...this time next week I will be 3/4 way through my 6 months of chemo - yay).
Don't have any idea what comes next with rads - guess I will find out soon enough.
Karen - congrats on your scan results - woohoo!
Marsha - your party looks like a hoot - I am planning and end of chemo/birthday party/tank-you party for late August, before rads start up.
Jan - your trike looks amazing. If someone rode something like that down my street everyone would be out on the footpath looking hard!
I am so jealous of you girls with warm weather - here in Adelaide it's freezing cold, and I am wearing beanies to bed at night to keep my head from freezing! At least the peach fuzz makes it feel a little less draughty up there.
Hope you are all enjoying your weekends...

Mmhmm...the hair is definitely returning. Here's the status this morning:

Yay Twink!!! I got brave enough to not cover up my "crew cut" when we had company with kids over last night. Their daughter did the locks of love in honor of me about a week ago! These same friends got my laptop connecting to the internet again! It was something simple as my virus checker had somehow blocked all access to the internet and just had to uncheck that feature...duh!
I found yet another article on genetic news connected to cancer...
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18899252/
My family doesn't know we got the trike, going to surprise them by riding in on it. Probably stop at the bike dealership where my two brothers work at first. I gotta feeling hubby is going to want to go for a ride on it today to get a little more used to it.0 -
Marsha - are you gonna try it? Tangerine would certainly smell better than Nioxin - it smells like eucalyptus and looks like toothpaste.
Leah - thanks for the encouragement. I seem to be seeing no progress for the past 4 or 5 days. I know I'm becoming obsessed but I'm so seeking that 'normal' feeling again. The eyebrows are really funky now - I probably have 6 or 8 on both sides but they're the really, really long, course, wild ones - survival of the fittest? And, they never follow the brow line - they either curl up or down where I have no brow powder. I also want my eyelashes back. I know - whine, whine, whine. There was a suggestion on one of the other threads as to a type of hair color to use - it wasn't as harsh as regular color - maybe a rinse. If I ever get enough to color, I may try that.
Catherine - poor Toby. He probably felt like the Goodyear Blimp. Was he doing some counter-surfing?
Jan - it's absolutely beautiful. I've always been a ride-my-own type person - both motorcycles and snowmobiles - but I sure wouldn't mind riding in your seat. Not sure I'd be able to stay awake tho. Just a little headrest would do it.
Alyson - congrats on your last visit to the bar. See ya at the grill!
Gosh Twink - If my hair looked like that, I'd be doing the public topless thing!
Well - I started this post at 7:00 this morning and just came back to finish. Back to more outside work!
Hugs to all!

Twink, boy, your hair is growing strongly... I am envious... nothing close here...
I read your blog, and thought the entry for the 14 is a piece that belongs to a book in the making...??? Very moving and well done.
My Saturday was almost a disaster (not a life threatening one): I spilled a big glass of water on my portable computer, just in the middle of a deadline... thanks God, we reacted quickly, turned off everything and let the little bugger dry until this morning with a fan... and ta da!! works... Fortunately I had a backup of my work and my old machine in the office upstairs to finish the job, and that sent me straight to pre-BC times... the rush of adrenaline from this "drama" made me forget all my aches and pains... I love my portable PC, so fast... I am glad it's not dead... No more drinks by the machine...
I am now feeding squirrels with roses... I left a basket on the table outside, on the deck, with sweet smelling roses that were past their prime... the next morning, the basket was tilted over, just a few flowers left, half munched they eat the petals, too... I thought that was interesting...
Well, time to go... very hot today...
Till soon,
Big hugs to you all, have fun on the beautiful trike, Jan... Twink, Mel, let time do its thing... this is a trying time again, having to get used to a new body... thinking of you a lot...
Big hugs all around,
Catherine0 -
Phyl, Toby is a specialist at counter-surfing, and we are not paying attention enough to what we leave around (this bread was on the stove, pretty high up). PBGV's are gluttons and their long body make them reach far... He is back to his old self, but we are cutting down the calorie intake... we do not want a blimp (bad for them).
Have a nice Sunday...
Catherine0 -
Wow Twink, when was your last chemo? My hair is no where near that full or long...... Marsha
0 -
Marsha, my last Taxotere was on May 24th but my hair had already started to sprout modestly before then. I think once the AC was over on March 29th. In any case, my hair has always grown quickly so, I expect full coverage before the end of July. I can't wait. I must say, it's coming back with much more gray than I believe I had before chemo though. I wasn't into the full dye job...just highlights to mask the little bit of gray that I had. I may have to go with the full meal deal now though. I tried a rinse on it last week and that seemed to tone down the gray (to a dull roar...groan).
Catherine, thank you for the comment on the blog entry...I was feeling pretty low that day and wasn't sure how to convey where I was at except in third person. Maybe I will write a book one of these days but I suspect my creativity will fizzle as I focus on 'real life' instead of moping about feeling sorry for myself.
The trike looks fantastic Jan. I could use a long tour about now I think...just to get away and get myself back would be such a relief....
Catherine, you're lucky with the 'almost' disaster and your portable. I recall working on a very important deadline a year ago...my husband literally poured a tall vodka and tonic directly on my keyboard (it was an accident). The laptop didn't survive.
Phyl, I don't know about Central Pa but Eastern Pa is hot and beautiful right now. Everyday has been scorching (just the way I like them), endng in a nice thunder shower at dusk. Sure saves on the water bill. So unlike California...such a change for me.
Belinda, when we're all whining about our cold weather, you'll be cooing about your summer...then it'll be our turn for a little envy.
Alyson, congrats! Doesn't it feel nice to have the chemo part done? I was soooo happy! I've heard others say that the hair can go with T as well...not sure if that's Taxol only because it doesn't seem to be the case with men(I was on Taxotere). I am using the Nioxin too, btw, but have no idea if that's helping (I'm afraid to stop, just in case). I did have an odd side effect, besides the numbness around my mouth, which I read another woman's post about on another thread: the skin on my toes became hard and sloughed off...just like a huge blister...weird. I'm looking at this SE like a micro-derm abrasion bonus...heh. My toes are soft as a baby's butt now.
Leah, I think your dark hair gives you an advantage in the hair growth department. Just sayin... My daughter also thinks I'm looking pretty cool...she sheared her head at a demonstration about a month ago so we look like we belong to the same club.
Hillary, fiber is a good idea. I've started introducing more fiber into my diet. I've also found consuming a lot of water helps me feel full. I'm on a full blown 'change my eating habits' program starting now. With treatment behind me now, it's time to put my plan into action. Us triple negs have so litte to turn to after treatment...I did read several interesting articles on the effect of a very low-fat diet on triple neg. recurrence rates. Although they don't know why, the impact is significant; Much more so than with receptor positive BC. That means less than 20% of my daily caloric intake will be from fat. I'm working up to that (down to that?). As for rebound exhaustion...can't say. I've been sleeping the better part of each 24 hours since surgery although it is letting up some. I'm not taking the pain meds anymore and find myself more wakeful, most of the day.
Phyll, buy him another identical lizard? That's what we used to do when the kid's goldfish bit the bullet. Hmmm...what a quandary.
Karen, congrats on the bone scan! Such good news and, I know, such a relief when good results come back. I'm hoping the path report, which I get to review with the breast surgeon on Tuesday, holds some good news too.
Terry and all, I also did not take the pill for very long... perhaps 8 years or so. Go figure... I drank like a sailor though (laughing). I nursed all three children, had my first when I was 25 and last when I was 35. Doesn't matter, I suppose, because I'm ER-. I one of those women with very dense breast tissue and figure that's got something to do with it... I'm trying not to dwell on 'what I did', rather focusing on 'what I can do'.
Carynn, I'll be thinking about you on the 22nd. You'll be fine, I know it. If you're anything like me, you'll spend more time worrying than it's worth.
Okay, now, for you superb chefs out there (thinking of Catherine's description of her meals), I will describe the dinner I'm working on.
-Wild sockeye salmon filet...cooked on a cedar plank
-Mango/roma tomato salsa with fresh cilantro from my herb garden
-grape tomato and bocconcini cheese, virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar
-cucumber, baby corn, vinegar and fresh dill (also from the herb garden)
-a bottle of chardonnay
Sigh...I'm getting hungry...hugs all around...
Twilah
...figured it was time to come out of the closet with the real name...
(muahahahahaha...copied the post and thwarted the time-out genie)0 -
Twink, so good to have some more news from you... doesn't it feel good to thwart the time-out genie? Sorry for your laptop last year... I am kissing mine today for being so sturdy... it was filtered water from the fridge, no sugar, no cream, no alcool... Got lucky...
I want to believe that you are gradually feeling better so you felt like staying at the keyboard some more... and the menu sounds great... Looks like you are litterally living in the trees... beautiful... PA is a lovely state, too... DH's daughter lives there and we visited from France in 1997... we discovered the Amich country and a wonderful Andrew Wyeth museum in an old water mill (I really like this artist)...
97 degrees here this pm... but dry, so in the shade it is nice... I have to gear up for 2 more brachytherapy translation projects coming in tomorrow... full time work for a couple of weeks...
Jan, what is your itinerary for your trip... sounds to me like a great adventure... your surroundings look very pastoral, with red barns and all... I like it (I am a countryside girl). How are you doing with the tamox? Sweating hard here, as we speak, but won't complain (2-3 times at night, 4 times during the day... not getting worse, no pain...)... don't forget to take your pill during this vacation of yours...
Sending some warmth to Alyson and Belinda...
Marsha, how was the gala evening?
Vegas, how are you doing since your port removal? Was it in your arm or your chest? I wonder what happens to the vein into which the catheter was entered... does it bleed a lot? I am thinking of having it removed maybe in Sept. when I won't have too many avastin IV's left (4 or 5), since this port incision is still bugging me... I do not forget about your France trip in the making... will send you info as I get to it... in the meantime, exercise your language skills...
Thinking of you all... Carynn, big special hugs before your surgery... hope you are resting and building strength... don't forget to laugh as much as you can before anesthesia...
Have all a nice evening, hope the DH's and SO's have been treated extra nicely today...

Morning all from a chilly New Zealand.
Winter has arrived but we do have a beautiful day. It was almost a frost this morning, we don't get too many in Auckland where as the do further south.
Beginning to recover from the final taxol but still have bone pain. My poor arm and shoulder after radiation simulation this morning. I could hardly move when they said I could put my arms down.
Twink I have numb toes, vitually no feeling at all as well as numbness in my fingers which makes opening jars etc very difficult. Dr said to be very careful with my feet as it is very easy to hurt them and not realise what you have done.
Also loved your menu it sounded really wonderful. We had salmon last night but it was farmed salmon still quite nice. I put my cranberry chutney on the top and poached it in a little wine. Very nice
Cahterine, I have a pot of daffodils in my kitchen. a friend gave them to me a couple of weeks ago so in a few days they will make a lovely splash of colour. You talk about roses blooming- I am thinking about pruning mine very soon.
Belinda, I lost my eyebrows recently, really thought I was going to keep them but they too went. Have a few eyelashes left but not many to speak of. I am not sure about the fuzz which I have all over my head, I have the feeling that it is about to go.
Question. what is the weather/temperature like in Indiana and Pennsylvania in September and October? How many hours of daylight at that time of the year? We had been planning a trip next year but think it would make more sense to do it later this year. Have friends in Indiana and an aunt in Pennsylvania so want to visit them.
Hope everyone has a great day and that they feel stronger all the time.

Hi all, Ive been in the ships cabin for so long Id forgotten what the world looked like. I have been reading all the postsand it has given me great courage to push on thru this. My 4 a/cs were very rough and I was subject to infection easily, so I was basically on house arrest. Fevers and a hospital stay. Then they waited an extra week to start 4/taxol. Boy I felt great for the first one .almost normal .tons of energy and no chemo fog ..then after two I started losing all my fingernails. Yuck!!! I have to wear bandaids on all my fingers. I hadnt seen any of you mention this side effect .guess Im just special .thats what the nurse said. Anyway I finally got released from detention and after 5 months of being house bound we went to our cabin .it was cold but a change of scenery was wonderful.
I have my last taxol on the 27th and then on to rads.
I will try to keep current with everyone now that I can think straight.
Got a couple of questions
How soon after the last chemo are you all starting rads?
I now have the fuzz on my head is this the color it will be or does the real hair come in a diiferent color? Will I lose the fuzz with the last taxol?
TWINK= my feet and hands pealed totally. My doc said to use bag balm and always wear shoes as the new skin underneath is very tender and can be injured easily.
Just have to thank you all again for all the tips and encouragement you gave each other. I want you to know it helped me to even thohg I was a silent poster on the board.
By the way if anyone is looking for a very comfortable bra try the wireless on from victorias secret..
Patti0 -
Maisy,
We started a post in the radiation section called "February chemo cruisers doing rads" or something like that. Please come join in there. Some of us are a only a week or two into it, so you will have company on your journey! Looks like there are no strict rules when you can start. My oncologist has people start the next week after chemo, some have a 3 or 4 week wait. I think it is more your own ability to take more treatment rather than a medical necessity. I know one person who did chemo and rads at the same time at center I am at! So if you want to join us at the grill, it might be your call!
See you over there!

Good morning ladies, hope everyone had a great weekend. The gala Saturday was great. My friend got a pic of the gals and I will post it soon.
Twink, I think the taxotere is easier on the hair than the taxol. Someone told me the hair will turn from white to whatever it is going to be. Mine is basically colorless, seen best in the sunlight. Feels like a 5 day beard grow out. Also, I find my body "telling" me what it needs. Veggies are high on that. I've been eating lean meat with a huge side salad full of veggies. Your name is Twilah? That is lovely.
Alyson, I had my simulation a tats last Thursday and had the soreness also. I thought the mast site was doing good but man I realized how much it still needs to be stretched! Can't help with the Penn weather as I live in Florida which is HOT right now and hot in Oct!
Patti, hey there girlfriend. I think we had several passengers who stayed in their cabins most of the time. Nothing wrong with that, just glad to know you were still on the ship and reading the logs. My last chemo was May 23 and I start rads tomorrow, June 19. Rad onc told me 4 weeks out from chemo.
Catherine, hope you are enjoying the nice weather with Toby and Mr. Squirrel. Have you named him yet? How about Rosie?
Phyl, I said the same thing to my hubby last night. I am flat tired of the whole hair thing. Eyelashes on the outer sides and still have an eyebrow "line" but no color in the hair! I have NO HAIR PIGMENTATION.
Which reminds me to say, about coloring the hair. I was told not to do anything until it is about an inch long as color and consistency can start changing. Don't know if this is true, but if not I am going to be WHITE headed. Geez...........
Hi Belinda, hang in there, it will be over soon!!
Jan, the trike is awesome looking. Aren't you leaving in a few days for your trip? Have a great time and take pics!
Carynn, best get all those errands ran, stock up on some favorite snacks and get the couch all comfy. Surgery was the easiest for me in this whole thing, just need to pamper yourself and take it easy.
Hillary, did you do something special with DS and DH on Father's Day? Oh and I have the lyrics to the NoMoCheMo party but will have to get them scanned on my puter to retype it. Just haven't had time.
Whew..... kinda been running on empty, hahaha trying to fit in as much on my calender before starting rads. Yesterday I spent most of the day lying around on the couch, even napped alittle in the afternoon. Slept like a log last night. (No sleeping aid for a week!) Rads start for me tomorrow so..........
Leah, that "clean look" should be easy to keep up if you start it now. Wax job or look into veet hair removal. It's not so much the clean look for me but man the solft feel! Like someone said above, soft as a baby's butt!
LOL
Marsha0 -
Mel, How are you making out? I've been thinking about you.
0 -
Been thinking about you too, Twink! Hope you're doing well. I'm fighting a cold, but if I didn't have that, I'd be doing fine. I still have drains in, but am hoping to get those out when I follow up on Thursday. I saw the PS this morning and she thinks I'm too run down to schedule the reconstruction yet, so I guess I wait until she's ready - she's thinking August, now. Loved your picture - you look great!
0 -
Marsha -- I agree that we've got to listen to what our bodies want and mine has also been craving fruits and veggies. Lots of salad. And gazpacho, with just a tiny dab of sour cream. I'm glad its summertime with all the fresh produce around!
Twink -- I've also read about how a low fat diet can benefit us triple negs, but 20% is so low! Like you, I'm going to have to work my way down to that level. By the way, your dinner sounded great!
Patti -- My rads onc also told me four weeks after chemo ends. I have my simulation tomorrow and start rads on Wednesday. I've got 8 weeks scheduled, so I'll probably overlap with you a bit!
Still only have the following for this week:
Thursday - Terry (last TCH), Carynn (surgery)
Friday - Belinda
Time to crash, as I've got to be up early in the morning ...
Hugs to all,
Hillary0 -
The Pink Panther has decided to ride with us on our trip!
