That's neat, Jane. I love that she gets to boss around "tall, good-looking men", and not a bunch of ugly punks!

(oops I didn't change a letter, just re-arranged. Does that count?)

here is a picture of her with the teams, not a skunk in the crowd, huh?

WooHoo....they ALL look good looking! They could put out a calendar, too. Is that your DD? She looks BEAUTIFUL! Looks like she just snuck in there, to be with all the guys...lol. Thanks for sharing the picture! (which one is your DS?)

She is kind of crunched over like she snuck in (maybe to make the other coxswain feel taller teehee), but Piper (DD) is definitely part of the team.  These are the guys from the 4-man and 8-man boats, plus a spare and the two coaches.  My DS isn't one of these varsity hunks, as he is still on the JV team.

OOPS I didn't mean to imply that she wasn't a full member of the team! I was mostly trying to find a word (snuck) that would work. I think if a bunch of us drove by this good looking team, there would be a lot of honks of approval!

(lol, no problem, I take this game pretty lightly!)

If we honked our horns too loud, they might fall out of the boat!

We would be so proud of their accomplishments, and would scorn their competitors! J/K!

If they fell out of the boat, everyone, rowers and coxes and all, would snort with laughter--or because they got water up their noses!

LOL! At least in the water they wouldn't run into a thorn.

Ouch, water up my nose would make it throb.

I'll make them some homemade soup, I think the hot broth might help!

Once they get warm and dry, let's throw them a party.

A party might take alot of planning and organization, but it will be worth it.

We'll try not to stress over it, or be worry-worts!

Well, how can we NOT worry when the forecast is for a storm?

I like the way that guitarist can strum.....funny that he's not worried about the possible storm.

The guy who plays drums is on his way. This place will be rockin' before long. We won't even hear the thunder from the storm.

It sure WILL be rocking here....the drummer arrived and quickly ordered a shot of 24 drams of whiskey (1.5 oz). I think the other band members plan to do the same!

Do you think that is  a smart thing to do before they even start playing? The music should be very interesting.

Oh yeah, it really WILL be interesting...lol. Look at the drummer as he crams down as much whiskey as he can, before they even get started!

he should have some strong coffee with lots of cream before they start to play, otherwise he might fall asleep right there on the stage!

oh, curveball, you had to mention cream? I dream  of whipped cream this week.  I'm asking for a cream whipper for my birthday next month.  Then I can have it sugar free. Anyone ever try one?

No, but I bought one and none of the kids wanted it, so since it was new, I sold it on ebay! Guess I dread the calories, so I use the fake stuff, not as good though.

I'm a carb counter, so the cream is fine, it's just the sugar that I can't have.  I'm even getting to the point that I don't miss bread

Sometimes an ingredient list reads like a foreign language....some long words I have never heard of! Too many words disguising "sugar", etc. (Good you are cutting back on carbs!)

That would be nice! Maybe if we give them lots of applause it will deter some of their drinking.
