They can't be as bad as some of the teens I've seen.  Holding their pants up with one hand. What's up with that?

And then the sneer some of those teens have while their pants are down to their knees! (LOL, I could have used *knees* too....that word would have worked)

I don't know about you, but I would never go out dressed that way. I heard the saggy-pants style is from prison culture and that's all I'm going to say about it. Believe me, you don't want to know why the pants are low!

I know, now for a seven month old, if their pants fall down low, its cute. BUT not for teens and adults!

(Once I was with my DD and young g'kids and we drove by an older teen on the sidewalk, showing ALL his underwear, his pants were so low. I had to pull into the drugstore right after that, and a cop had pulled up next to us. So (boldly!) I asked the cop if there was something he could do about that, as I didn't like my young g'dau seeing that, but he said there is nothing they can do. He had seen the same person, too.  I thought it would be like "indecent exposure" or something. I bet if I ever did that, I would get arrested! But they get away with it....go figure!)

Kudos to the grandma who vents to a cop about saggy exposure! You go get 'em Wahine.

    (Thanks, Jane!)

I think young people that dress that way need a stern talking to! (But I am NOT bold enough to do THAT!)

That would be a very terse conversation.

DS#1 has trouble keeping his pants up...but b/c he is 6'1" and all of 130 lbs. He has taken to wearing suspenders, as belts just don't do the trick!

Sweet! (If anyone can get that conversation started, that is!)

Good idea about wearing suspenders....does he wear them OUTSIDE of his shirt or underneath? The reason I am asking, is I am trying to convince my DH to get some as he has no butt and his pants always slip down even with a belt. Any ideas are appreciated!

zogo, that boy needs to hit the gym, work up a bit of a sweat and put on some muscle--he is six inches taller than I am but only five pounds heavier! Is he at that teenage "growing too fast to keep up with himself" phase?

Is he on any basketball teams? Bet they'd all love to have him, as tall as he is!

He's not as athletic as he is smart. He's studying Electrical Engineering and is really into music. He was in a very successful band, now he DJ's and produces music and videos for others. When he DJ's, he'll wear he suspenders on the outside of a dress shirt with a bowtie. On other days, he usually wears them over a t-shirt and under a hoodie.

Kathy, just tell your DH to get a bowtie with those suspenders Wink

if he is studying EE he must be good at at maths (to use a Britishism). I took all the classes leading up to calculus but then chickened out. Physics is also a mystery to me.

He is really doing well, to be doing all that! Its age-old myths that all tall males play basketball!

(Thanks for the suspender info, bet it does look cute w/dress shirt and bow tie!)

Here is one of their promo photos. Makes my eyes misty because I miss him. DS is the one on the right in the purple shirt.

I think Risky Ricky looks dusty, too.  He clearly needs some better personal hygeine!

You're right, Jane! Do you think if we gave him some nice soap he would take it home and get all sudsy and squeaky clean?

Perhaps. And if he dusts himself afterwards with some good-smelling powder, maybe he'd be halfway passable--but even so zogo's DS beats him by a mile!

I think Risky Ricky is destined to just end up with sluts.  Not quality gals, like our crew. Wink

Maybe you're right zogo. Since he seems to fill his brain full of lusty thoughts, maybe that's really what he's looking for.

Oh well, never mind Ricky. What's the crew up to next?

What shall we do? It should be something interesting--we need some good tales to tell our friends about what we've been up to.

And we'll be so nonchalant and blase about our trip, THEN surprise all our friends with the news!

Yes, you really are good about keeping secrets, but what if your old flame finds out?

OOPS.....I didn't notice we had gone to the next page...ignore this word, we're on blaze!
