Oh, here is my margarita, safe and sound.  Apparently Mr Bartender has very good coordination.  And he even brought us a complimentary order of clams.  Guess we better give him a good tip.

Oh that sounds wonderful, Red! My neck feels like it is in a clamp. How far down the beach do you think this cabana might be?

I'm not sure but I saw some oil LAMPS in the gazebo. Let's grab them because it's starting to get dark and wander on down there.

oooh, a massage! What is the fragrance in that oil the masseuse is pouring into the palms of her hands. Doesn't it smell wonderful?

As long as she SLAPS some of it on my back, I don't really care but I think it's coconut!

It does smell really good. Almost too good. I think that splat I heard was her dropping a bottle of oil.  Oh well, I am too relaxed to stress about it. Ahhh...drool....oh dear, I think I nodded off.

beats me! If Red's silence on the subject lasts much longer, we will have to start guessing. As for dancing, I think I will go in the other room where they are having a Country-Western themed party. I don't usually like country music, but I did enjoy square-dancing the few times I tried it. Swing your partner, docey-doe!

There might even be some stars playing that country music in the next room. I'm not a big country fan either, but I went with a friend to see Brad Paisley this summer. What a fantastic show. He play part of a song on an acoustic guitar, then signed it, pointed at a girl in the audience and handed her the guitar. Then he would grab a phone from someone in the audience and do a selfie while singing into their phone, then hand the phone back! You could tell he adores his fans.

I don't think the newer country singers' music will work for square dancing. It needs more old-timey or bluegrass music. I guess I'm just an old fogey, but that concert you described sounds more than a little weird to me. I've never been to such a performance and the description isn't appealing enough to cause me to start going at this late date.

Well do I every have a TREAT for you girls. They are playing bluegrass just over there. See. Let's go square dance.

I'm not a country music fan either but some of it is really good. And an ewwa is an 'ever widening white ass'. Sorry about the language. Lol.

Woke up this morning and looked at my last post and it occurred to me that although that's a pretty common anagram amongst people I know it isn't really very nice. I suppose in the name of political correctness, I should change that to an EWA, then everyone can have one! Not just us poor white folk. I have a brown friend who says it can't happen to her butt, cuz it's not white. Lol. Now it can!!!! I'll have to tell her. Next word is TREAD.

It's been too hot here recently to be talking to hot pool boys—almost 100 degrees yesterday and over 90 many times the last three weeks. We have had a long spell of heat but it looks like it's about over now and I'm glad to see the end of it. I'm more than ready for some cooler weather!

I truly dread colder weather coming. It was only 57 this afternoon here.  We had such a LONG, cold, wicked winter here in Wisconsin, I promised I wouldn't dare complain if it got hot.  And sitting poolside with handsome cabana boys waiting on us...it's definitely getting HOT!

I got a cute long dress for the summer (as maxis are in again) and it's almost too hot to wear it.  I think I was about 16 the last time long dresses were really in style. They make me feel so feminine :-)

yes, and if it's made of a crinkled fabric, you don't have to press it after washing—just take it out of the dryer and put it on.

I love wash and wear clothes. And I like long skirts too. Hides those stupid veins in my otherwise nice looking legs. Went to a laser surgery guy but it turned out it was $150.00 per session and I don't have that kind of coin to SPARE, so I dropped the idea.

If I had money to spare, I'd go to Paris, France. But with 2 kids in college and one going next year, the only way I'm going to get there is on here with you gals.  Let's go....Bonjour, Paris!!

I hear the parks in Paris are lovely!  We can run around, play ashes, ashes and all fall down, and since we're in long, flowing dresses, my veins won't show either, Red!
