Good evening Beach Angels.  Holy moly -- that is one huge suitcase.  Does that meet the height and weight requirments??? LOL!

Sahalie -- yup, the doc's office finally found where they had misapplied the payment and they are supposed to correct it.  I had also called the insurance company and they showed that the payment had been sent and the check cashed.  They offered to send me a copy of the check if necessary.  Its the little things that will drive you crazy.

Spar -- so what did you think of Mr. Player getting played tonight.  I think Brian thinks he's another Dr. Will but he's just dreaming.  There's only one Dr. Will and he's not it.

Faith -- I bet you are having a blast right about now.  Hugs from all you beach friends.

Well, I'm am just incredibly tired today so I think I will be turning in after this post.  I wish you all good night and sweet angel dreams.  Hugs to all from A to Z.

Summer -- why did you delete your poem from earlier?  I liked it.

Mavericks*  One of my most favorite places to go.

It only happens once a year and you better be ready to jump in the car and roll.

    *

The transition from a mysterious and almost mythical Northern California big wave break

to a mainstream sporting event has been a lightning quick one for the Mavericks

    Big Wave Surfing Competition.

Discovered and rediscovered during various points in the 60's and 70's, it was not

until 1990 when Half Moon Bay native Jeff Clark popularized big wave surfing off Pillar Point.

Big Tuesday, December 4th 2007, was a day like few others had seen before in

    Northern California.

Breathless television news reports predicted 18-23 foot swells up and down

the coastline, and famed big wave surfing spots like Mavericks at Pillar Point

near Half Moon Bay and Ghost Trees near Pebble Beach were set to receive

    historic conditions.  And it did.

    Anticipation*  Mavericks.  Adrenaline.  Joy.

    HI!  Good morning ladies!

Woke up to thunder and lightning today, still raining and lots of thunder and lightning.  Guess I wont get to go for a power walk today.  Oh well, maybe this afternoon, if it stops raining for a while.  I absolutely adore the ocean, but dont have bravery to do this sport, but I do admire the skill.

Celia.  Remember the driftwood sculptures, art and shelters along the freeway on

the Berkeley side of the bay close to the race track down in the bogs when the tide is

    out in the bay?

Some of those have been there since I was a child.  Old ones.  Intriguing!   New ones.

I remember a small (maybe 5 or 6 feet long) perfectly dimensional airplane

balanced on a pole out in the bog.

    Wonderful driftwood art.  Great memories.

    Do you remember those?

There was a horse too.  Perfect.

And shelters.   Who in their right mind would stay in one but they did.  In the bog.

Maybe they used their money to bet the horses at the near by race track.

Fog here which I love.  I hope you aren't in an area where the lightning can cause fires.

Hi, no, it has been raining so much, we are safe from fires this year....so far.  I say so far, because that could change in a matter of a couple of weeks.

    cat

Here is a picture of painted driftwood.  Cool art.

Summer.     Did you delete the picture because it was too big?

If so that is easy to fix.

When you hit the little tree above to insert your picture just redo the size of the

picture by lowering the numbers size in the two Dimensions boxes

I usually go down below 500 so the picture fits this window.

Anything over 500 by 500 is too big for this window.

I hope this helps.  If you need more help feel free to PM me.

    Always, loved the video

Sahalie, i am still wating in the water for you so hurry up

I love driftwood, any shape or form.  My mother collected driftwood and would make rock and flower gardens with the wood.  Summer, that is one cool cat driftwood, almost like a totem pole

I love ice tea, sweet with lemon so I'll bring a glass for everyone

Foots, I'll bring smores for everyone.  Have a great day, enjoy the sun, sand, water

Spar.  I'm right here in the water with you.

That is the cutest s'more I've ever seen.  Those would make great gifts.

I used to collect small pieces of driftwood and glue two small buggy eyes on each

piece and put several in a group on another piece of driftwood and give them

    to friends.

Just imagine the above driftwood pieces each with googly eyes.

    They were a smile maker.

Must go get the errands done.

That smores is so cute.  Yes, I thought the picture was too big, it was way too big.  This is the best I could do.  We are on our way for smores and iced tea.

Sahalie, I checked with Atwood in Norman, Ok (where we bought our other ducks) but they don't have any left and according to them the only place that might have some anywhere in our area would be Mary's flea market in Okla City, never heard of ducks at a flea market but we are going to check Sat. just in case.

I think that driftwood picture with google eyes would be just too cool for words.  I love anything different.

Fixing to go watch a movie with sweet husband, talk later.

Yes, the drift wood picture would make a great table top I thought.  Finally stopped raining here, going to go for a walk.  Get away from the computer for awhile.  Gosh I sure have too much time on my hands right now.  Looking forward to vacation with my awesome husband. After that, hopefully will have a new job.  I expect I will as there are tons of jobs out there right now in my field of work.  That should keep me busy!  2 weeks to go until I get the ok from ps from tram surgery to go to work again.

I haven't posted lately on this topic but I've been to the beach with you all every day.  I wanted to explain my absence today.  I GOT MARRIED!  I guess I must have some hope going to have taken that step.  We're planning a reception in Sept. and a honeymoon on a cruise to Bermuda the week after.  I think we'll be finding a beach or two.
