Good Morning Beach side Cutie Pies*!

I'm risen and trying to shine.  Just barely.

Too much this and that this weekend and now I'm paying for it.

I tend to over due when Mother Nature makes everything in the yard and on

    the farm have growth spurts.

Spar knows cuz she wrote about it too.

Then I get all worn out.  Go to Baby shower.  Pick up all the Babies.

Play with them.  Mingle with the relatives of new Mom to be and have some

Champagne with a Strawberry in it then before I know it.

It's time for my own slumber land.

Now it's morning and Jaz most eloquently adorns us with "Rain Drops"

    and on our heads yet.

We need Rain drops in California Big Time.

The fog is in here up in my Northern area so I am a happy camper.

How 'bout the Peninsula Margaret?   It's always cooler down there.

I hate to hear there is fire at the perimeter of Yosemite.

Yosemite is truly one of our dear Mother Nature's and Company's

    wonders of the world.

Sorry but Wings and Janny don't look too terrific with those bugs in

    their teeth.

Let's make them mouth guards.  We could use coconut shells.

Foots.  You need a friend that works at a lumber yard.

You live in Riverside?  OMGosh I know how hot it gets there.

It gets so hot the outside plants burn up.   I hope you have AC.

Lisa.  How was your weekend?  What's on docket for the week.

Jaz.  I meant to tell you that I used the Baking Soda in the dishwasher

and now it is super clean.

Thank you so much for that helpful hint.

I can't wait to see your holiday surprises!

    *

I really dropped the old ball this past weekend for activities so will

try to make up for it this next weekend.

This is truly the summer of showers for this and that.

I wish it was rain showers but alas no.

I've been to two baby showers since June.  Wedding shower

    next weekend.

    Wedding in the Fall.

I enjoy them all.  Hey that rhymed.

Shrink.  I hear you giggling and that's a good sign.

Janny.  I sure would love to hear more about your bike adventure.

Celia.  Always.  Always thinking of YOU.

Amy.  What the heck happened to you on the beach?

Did one of the Beach Boys get too fresh or Fernando try to lure you to his

    Beach House on the dunes.

It's this most favorite.  Lovely ladies Birthday today.

Do you know who she is?

    And NO it's not me!

    I love her though.

    Hint.

    She was a victorian Naturalist.

I would bet she touched each of our lives in one way or another.

    Happy Birthday To:

I Love You!  And all Your animals of joy.

December 16, 1901 -- Beatrix Potter published The Tale of Peter Rabbit.

Having been turned down by a half-dozen publishers,

Potter financed this first edition herself --

    Miraculous Monday Recipe:

    *

Mrs. Rabbit makes Baked Eggs for supper for Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail, and Peter.

Here's a recipe that might be used for your "little bunnies."

    INGREDIENTS

    6 eggs
    1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup grated Swiss, Gruyere, sharp cheddar,

or chevre salt and pepper to taste

    1. Preheat oven to 400F.

    2. Butter 8 muffin cups.

Whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper together and divide

evenly among the 8 buttered muffin cups.

    3. Sprinkle eggs with grated cheese.

Bake for 15 minutes, until eggs are golden and puffed.

    4. Slide a knife around each egg to remove from tin.

Serve on toast, or on English muffin or bagel halves.

    Serves 4.

Lisa.  That bunny is adorable.  It should meet Jaz's bunnies.

Then there could be lot's more bunnies.

Your little cherub gdaughter is so very cuddly cute.

I bet she gets Peter Rabbit read to her.  Maybe the whole set.

I have baby birdies in one of the high shrubs out back and I hear them

doing their happy chirps each day.

    I love that.

Very busy day today on this side of the map.

Spar.  That is one happy group of fella's on the side of the road with

their picnic. It's always good to see "Happy"

Lisa.  Check out this quilt.  Isn't it neat. It goes along with

the fantastic Woody picture you shared.

Edited cuz Spar and I were posting at same time.

    sunrise over newcastle beach

The sun is rising over the ocean, hopefully a wonderful day and turning the worries over the God.

Ready for the surprise song of the day (aren't we spoiled)  Could not sleep, so got up early, put laundry away, fed the animals, did last night dishes, had breakfast and coffee and am now going into town's supercenter and stock up a month on groceries so I won't have to go back for a while.  Hope to see everyone here at some point today.  Have a wonderful day all my wonderful beach friends.

Good Happy Day!  Its sunny and glorious and HOT here!  But that's life in the south in the summer and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

    Spar -- wonderful pics.

Here's a beach bunny I found this morning.

Okay, I bought some watercolors the other day because I got inspired by all you arts and crafts people but now I don't know how to start.  I didn't realize that watercolors came in tubes.  Silly question:  do I still use water in a glass like we did in grade school or use them like acrylic and oil paints.  I have done some oil paint but never this type of watercolor.

Sahalie- I do very well remember our bunnies from childhool.  Lisa that is a wonderful bunny picture!  Here is a repost of my bunnies.

WOWOW. Beachie Bunnies -- for real.

I'm back safely home from my New England adventure. I'm so grateful to everyone for their prayers of travel mercies. Our prayers were answered, but it was quite an adventure.

Sunday everything was going right according to my itinery. Plane loaded in Philly, rolled back from the jetway a few dozen yards, engienes roared and then we had a lightening storm, which kept us in that spot for about an hour and a half.

Then we got the all clear and rolled to the runway and learned the storm was over NH where we were headed, so we sat on the active jetway for another 2 hours. Well, then we had "timed out" by too much sitting and they drove the plane back to the starting point and cancelled our flight.

It was like watching dominos fall. Most of the flights to the eastern seaboard were either being cancelled outright or delayed for hours. In JULY!!

Long story short..... the travel agent was able to get me on a flight which eventually departed around 10:00 p.m. I was pulling back my covers at the stroke of midnight at the lovely conference center. Wake up call for 5:30 yesterday. (I kinda thought they should give a discount for so few hours on that palacial bed...... LOL.)

Anyhow it was an amazing day to present. My first ever in New England. Big time wonderful support. Worth the headaches. OHHHHHHHH and my luggage made it to NH before I did. LOL.

Met some amazing people in the airport(s) and on the flights. Made a genuine new friend in my seat compartment last night on the way back here (got into my bed at midnight -- do you see a theme??)

I learned a lot about myself in the midst of all of these unknowns. I was unbelieveable calm in the face of all the wonderings??? Would I make it? Would my luggage? Would I rent a car and drive 6 hours thru the night? Would I be able to make it thru speaking for 5.5 hours, plus autographs in every break?? Would the shuttle get me back to the airport in time?

I'm quite certain that you beachies praying in overtime gave me strength beyond my usual capacity and for that I'm incredibly grateful.

It seems there are so many here who have so many burdens and hardships. I treasure the fact that we can rally and support one another -- thru our typed words, our pictures, our frivolity, our friendships, our songs for the day: Everything is indeed beautiful here...... angels fly about us to keep us moving forward.

    Thanks friends.

    xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx

may go tuck myself back into bed LOL......

have a very early morning again tomorrow, traveling to the northern end of the state for library hoopla, little town, fun fun fun
