Jazz.  I can't see a picture up above where you wrote "Look what I found"

    Gotta go.

See you all another day * another time. *

Faith, your adventure sounds well, like an adventure.  Glad you are home safe, maybe you will get a day or 2 of rest now.

Jaz, I absolutely love that song.  It is so upbeat it made my heart happier

Sahalie, will miss you, come back safely

Lisa,I have noticed that the sunsets and sunrises do look alike, you can't really tell by the pictures if it is east or west.

Foots, hope your ok today.  Did anymore work get done on your ramp or fence?

    Hello and hugs to all.

I should have gone to the beach today but I went shopping instead and bought $100 worth of stuff - a necklace for $28, and 5 blouses I had to have for $72.  Not bad really (Stein Mart).  I think this is encouraging since I didn't buy anything for 6 months.   I'm definitely over whatever that was. See you tomorrow along the shore.

I just might dig out my water colors too.  I did use watercolor pencils a few weeks ago and drew a picture of a breast cancer cell - ugly.   The caption was "Get the cell outta here."

Jaz, I am such an amature, I'm still just using the water colors we used in school. LoL

Shrink, would love to see that picture.  Have to say the enonomy was stimulated by me also.  Went to buy grocery's and prices are ridiculous.  It was nearly $270 and that is with no ice cream, no candy, no cookies.  No good stuff.  Just meal cooking stuff and detergents.  It gets more frustrating every month.

Lisa, so glad your not right in LA and that you are ok.

Spar -- its going to be a while before I have anything I'm willing to show.  But I did find some cool watercolor tutorial sites on the web.  I probably won't have time to do much with it till the weekend.  I'm just kind of learning how to draw lines and make shapes with it right now.

What did you think of BB?  I was so hoping that she would listen to Jessie and put Libra up.  Wouldn't that have rocked the house!

Goodnight sweet beach friends.  See ya tomorrow

    Greetings Mermaids.

I just dragged myself in the house from a family day at the County Fair.

I am sooooooo tired but it was fun.  The Animals.  4H.  Little piggies.

All of them. We had a glorious day and evening.

The flower show was beautiful. Colorful and smelled so good. A bit humid but we

    survived.

I love the art show and photography.  All local and wonderful.  So much feeling in

a black and white photo.  One of my favorite mediums.

Of Course we ate to much.  I had to hit the corn dog stand immediately and slather

it with mustard.  My favorite Fair food.

    *

The 5.4 mag earthquake down east of LA is all over the news.  It even got Arnold

up to the podium to make a speech.

Gladly people are fine.  Aftershocks are the norm and come with the earthquake as a

little reminder of what just happened.

I hope we don't have a big rock and roll up here.  We've had our share.

    Lisa.  Glad you are OK.

Shrink and Spar the shoppers.  Good job.  Spar's sunset. WOW.

Jaz must be playing with her new paints.

If you guys have a county Fair near by I hope you have the opportunity to go.

I am pooped to the max so will say good night and wait for my "Flipping Out"

show and Jeff Lewis so I can go to sleep with a laugh and giggles.

    He is a riot.

    Now time for. . . .

Nice hot bath with ocean bubbles time then I'm tucking myself in.

     Sweet dreams All.

    XOXO.

Sounds like a good time was had by all.  We have a state fair and I'm sure other areas have county fairs but I live in the metro area so its just the state fair here.  I haven't been in years and years.  Its in the same area its been for the last 50 years and there are just too many people for where they hold it.  Its wall to wall people and I just can't stand it.  Too claustrophobic for me.  I need my personal space.  So, I don't go anymore.  Did you win anything?

Aw Jaz.  You sweetheart.  I am dragging.  I just went to check on Angela on another thread.

Nope no winning.  I stay out of the midway with a passion.  That's why we came home

    now.

All the kids and teens invade at dusk.    No way will we be anywhere near.

My favorite was the art show and the animals.

We have a State Fair in Sacramento that I have never gone to cuz I have much the

    same feelings you do.

I'm glad I went but it's over Thank Goodness.

I haven't had a chance to check my flip flops.

Hot bath is ready.  See you tomorrow.

Good morning Beach friends.  Not much time today.

Faith -- what an adventure you had.  I would go crazy stuck in one of the little planes for that long.  They aren't as roomie as they were back in the 80's.  I barely fit in those little seats.  I hope they at least served you some soda or something.  Flying is crazy these days and I think its going to get worse.  I'm so glad to hear that your conference went so well.

Sahalie -- I know you are gone today so have a great time and we look forward to you getting back to the beach soon.

Spar -- good morning neighbor.  You are so close that we definitely have to get together sometime.  I'll catch ya on the flipside soon.

Wings -- I know you are awfully busy.  Have a great day.

FPAngel -- what crummy neighbors trying to take some of your land.   Seems like they could have hired a surveyor if there was a property line quesiton.  You  just never know about people these days.

Shrink -- it sounds like you are a creative person too just like our spar.  I would love to see photos of some of your work if you feel comfortable.  I tool an oil painting class and a couple of art classes in college but I really haven't done much in years.  Reading what all the beach ladies and seeing spar's creativity has inspired me to get back into it.

Well I'm going to go get the coffee started.  Be back soon

    Surprise song of the day!

Hope to get back to the beach tonight.

Am walking the beach, thinking deep thoughts, wondering what the future holds.

Foots, I am worried about you and your neighbors and ramp

    Good afternoon beach angels,

Spar, I am lmao over the pic you posted with the bugs in the biker's teeth.  I try to keep my mouth closed, lol!  I have been hit in the face several times by bugs.  Yes, it hurts.  I've also been stung by bees when they smack me in the face.  You'd think they wouldn't have time to sting you before they go "splat".

Sahalie, how are you?  I know you and Spar want more bike trip details.  I will post some pics when I get them on the computer.  The Blue Ridge Mts. are just beautiful.  I don't know if I told you guys, but a back bear ran our in front of us on the Skyline Dr.  That was cool.  We were in a campground, just south of Staunton, and the woman in the motorhome next to ours was also a bc survivor.  Too small of a world.  I run into survivors everywhere I go.

Hi to Faith, Jaz, footprints, Lisa, & Margo.  I'm at work now, so not much time to post.  Have a beachy day!

Lisa, it is so weird that you posted iris's that is what I am working on now in the stained glass department.  I love them too.

Biker, thank goodness you didn't run over the bear.  My mother and I were traveling to Delaware from Okla. and a deer ran out in front of us on I-40 and totalled our car, we had our seat belt on and only scratches, but the deer died.  An officer gave us a ride to the next town and we hired a man at a gas station to take us to the airport to rent a car, sold the car to a salvage yard and continued our trip.  Now am very scared of deers running in front of me.  There is such a huge population of them here.  Can't wait until you get computer time with pics, would love to see a pic of your bike also.  Do you get over 100 miles per gal?

See you all this evening on the beach

    hi beachies............. howdy, howdy!!

just now home from my EARLY morning departure for this library concert i gave -- it was almost 6 hours of driving (round trip) so that's enough for me for today!!

things heating up in the song-writing arena....... i have to knock out a couple more and quickly

the sad news came that my sister's BIL "passed" yesterday. he hung on months longer than anyone predicted..... yesterday was my dear niece's birthday, too...... just too much for her this summer to contend with..... now her birth will always be linked to her uncle's death.........

maybe that's a good thing somehow?

we went out to see WB and babeez last night & had dinner out there...... can't get over how they change from day to day!!

hugs to each and every one walking the beach...........................

Sahalie: glad to hear you had an inspirational day at the fair.... it's been a long time since we've done that....... and i LOVE corn dogs, but no mustard for me thanks

footie: keep your sunny side showing here, we are always eager to hear how you're holding up, i hope that the heat is done pretty soon -- for your sake

WINGERS: are you back at BonBon's house of children? i can't believe you were in Dover and didn't give me a head's up! Could have come up for lunch. I have a couple more MI invitations for this fall, so maybe we can line something up then...........

We're been married for two weeks and 5 hours, Faith.  Such bliss!  I decided to make my own invitations for the party with a Martha Stewart kit    I finally finished but I had all kinds of printing problems and had to buy an extra kit due to the mistakes I made.  We'll be having this party in 6 weeks.  I'm looking forward to it.  I'd love for you all to be there.

Bongos and guitars on the beach.

No sleeping here Faith!  I'm up and at 'em.

Summer time is a wonderful time.  Isn't that a lyric in some song.

Jazz.  Where are you Song Bird.

Should I even ask why there is a "bump" on the beach?  Weird.

Lisa.  Those Iris are breath taking.  Iris. Roses and daisies are my favs.

I love all flowers though.  And anything green.

I adore Sweet Peas.  And their fragrance.  Oh the sweet smell of childhood.

    Anyway.  Thanks Lisa.

Janny.  I love hearing about the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Too be free on one of those

big bikes and flying down the highways and byways and the scenery you must see

seems like it would be so much fun.

Spar.  I love you too.  The picture of the couple on the beach with their weber is great.

Can't you just see all of us out there.

Shrink.  Two weeks and mucho hours of wedded bliss.  Martha Stewart redo's and a

party in six weeks.  Busy girl.  Remind us when your reception is so we can

coordinate with you here on the beach.

We are known to throw some purty good parties.  They are so good a couple of the girls

like Amy and Celia have been missing in action due to all the fun and frolic.

They are in sand dunes somewhere.

We need to start up the BeachMobile and go get Margaret.  She is no where to be seen

    and we can't have that.

    We are missing you Margo.

Let's send a group vibe her way to make sure she's OK.

Maybe she's on a vacation.  Now that would be the ticket.

Foots.  Did you feel the quake down in your area?

Tomorrow starts the first annual Beach Junk Treasure Hunt.

Let's make this a spectacular one.  Keeping the junk within the size of this box here

    so we don't fall off.

I am so excited to see what treasures you all find.

    See you on the beach.

Good morning beach friends.  Sorry not to check in but had to start the day running.  The 'bump' was from people trying to bury the spammers nasty posts yesterday.  They were bumping up nice threads to bury all that nasty stuff.

I still have a meeting after lunch and need to pull some documentation together so I will be back this afternoon with the song of the day and a better chat.

Hugs to all the faithful beach friends here.

The spammers were back yesterday also?  Do they have nothing better to do with their lives???

Good afternoon beach babes. I'm at work, so not much time to post.

Lisa, those iris's were gorgeous.  One of these days I'm going to plant some in front of my house.

Good to see you Jaz.  Try not to get too busy.

Faith, yes I enjoyed the bugs in the teeth pic.  You haven't lived til you've been smacked in the face with a big, juicy bug.  Yuck!

Sahalie, there is no feeling like being on a bike, in the more rural areas.  No cars, just you, your hubby and your bike.  It is exhilerating.  I do hate being in traffic.  The people in the cars just don't see you.

A big hello to Wings, Footprints, Margo, Celia, Shrink, and anyone else I missed.
