I saw it Sahalie.  They have those electronic touchpads on the wall though so it registered Phelps first.  He's got those long arms with a big reach.  Plus, they reviewed the camera angles and determined that he did indeed beat the other guy.  The other guy filed a protest but he was just a shave slower than Phelps.  He should have taken another stroke like our guy and he prob would have won.

I'll watch it again Jazz when it's replayed.

I did get to see the two USA girls replay of their Gold & Silver wins.

They were amazing.  Did you see the rib cage on the Gold medal winner?

And why was she in pink instead of red like the other teammates?

Yes, they are really skinny girls.  Did you see the segment on how much Phelps eats in a day.  Over 12,000 calories a day and I swear, there's not an ounce of fat on that guy.

I also watched our lady swimmer and she made me proud with her display of sportsmanship and respect for the swedish swimmer who had a wardrobe malfunction.  She made everyone wait until the swedish swimmer could find a new suit to wear.  Then our swimmer went and won the event.

Goodmorning beach friends.  Did watch the segment of how much Phelps eats in a day, can you imagine what he would look like if he were a couch potatoe.  Thats a lot of food but evidently his body needs it to do all he does.

Julz, dear friend, hope you are much happier today, I know you have been down about your friend.  You got all of us here when you need us.

Hope everyone has a beautiful day at the beach!  I am going to post quickly on humor then go build block houses with emily.

    PICTURE EDITING IS EASY.

It's done through BCO properties in the tree box.  Not photoshop.

For the HUGE pictures go back to your post and click EDIT.

When page comes on to edit, click the picture.

A long tiny window will come down and at the bottom is says PROPERTIES

    Click Properties.

Reduce the size (numbers) in the two oblong boxes by making your picture

no larger than 500 being the largest.

If you have a picture with two different number properties as most do then

just figure your little bit of math and down size the photo.

I usually leave the last two numbers alone and only change the first number.

    Example:

    780 X 578  (i change to 480 (lower than 500 remember) and 278

    The resized picture will show.

If it looks good to you and fits this window without a scrollbar below it then

    you are good.

Click Save and your edited photo will fit this window and our page will not go

    off the charts.

    Simple easy.

    Now go try it.

Thank you.  My eyes thank you.  This page thanks you.

    *

You could even go fix the last page when you have time.

One trick that was taught to me is to type words only above and below the picture.

If you type beside the picture there goes the page off into oblivion.

    Again.   Thanks.

    EXAMPLE:

    Resizing Pictures.

    Click EDIT. On your post.

    Click the picture.

    Click Properties.

Reduce numbers within two oblong boxes.

Numbers should be no larger than 500.

    Example:

    780 X 578 change to 480 X 278

    The resized picture will appear.

    Click Save.

    *

    *

    *

    OK.

    I'm done.

Pretty please do not hit me over the head with a wet star fish.

    XOXO

Loving it!  I bet you are on cloud nine.

Faith's grandbabeeze are so adorable too.

It's great to see such healthy and happy looking babeeze.

Wonder Boy is a cutie patootie too.

    Look what I found!

    *

No fish were harm in the making of these soaps, they're plastic.

The water like liquer that the fish appear to be floating in is clear glycerin soap.

The more you shower or bathe, the closer you'll get to the toy goldfish inside.

    Each plastic fish measures 3″ x 3″.

    * What a cute gift idea.

Good evening Beach friends! Just coming on to Wave hello to you all & the waves! The sun is shining brighter & the wind is blowing sweeter on me today! My church friend is being very private at the moment about what is going on with her, so not much is known. I however have sent a card to her with just the one word (Hug) in it. Inside I also wrote that no matter what happens you will need this one hug & I will give you many more whenever you need. I gave her the invitation to join us on BC.org in any capacity she needs. Or to just come & read! And signed my web name. Thanks to all who comfort & care! XOXOXO!

Spar ~ I hope you are enjoying your Granddaughter & that she is feeling better!

Sahalie ~ I missed your sweet words & sunshine around here! So glad to have you back. Give those animals extra hugs they missed you too! I wonder if the fish soap floats, then you would have swimming fish soap! I hope it doesn't smell fishy!

Shrink ~ I hope all is well with those sweet grandkiddies of yours. Have you heard any new words of wisdom lately? Always ready for some devine words from the lowerups!

Faith ~ Don't have too much fun without us!Wink TEE HEE!

Saint ~ How's our resident radio show guest?

Celia ~ I love the labs in the water & is that boat sculpture made of metal?

Foots ~ I would love to take a walk with you by the beach later!

SoCal ~ I need a one of a kind Lisa Pic Fix!

    Goodevening beach friends.

Sahalie, those flip flop earrings are the best, am so glad you are back. The GD wanted to watch a movie and she chose college road trip, it was so dumb that I laughed myself silly.

I am very upset at my chico dog today, the duck, dog, and cat always hang out together, today we all went down to the pond and the duck had a ball, swimming and flapping his wings really fast and skimming the pond, he would duck his whole head underwater and come up eating something.  The dog ran all around the edge of the pond, and the cat just lay there and watched them.  Well, I had to run to town to pick up my meds, when I got back the dog was actually eating the duck.  I screamed at the dog and am so disgusted with him and carried the duck back up to the porch.  He is going to be ok, the dog never attacks him when we are home, whether we are inside the house or outside but this time he was chomping and licking his lips.  I know it is a meager upset compared to what we go through but I just felt so sorry for the duck and will never trust the dog with him alone again.

Hope all has a good evening hugs to everyone.

Whew!! We're back "home" to our home-away-from-home after having such a fantastic time with SAINT'S family and their friend's family who played host to ALLLLL of us!!  Our hubbies had some nice bonding time and we gals totally enjoyed going on a gallery walk together. The various galleries had a variety of goodies -- from cheese and crackers to cookies and one place with champagne. I'm sure that calories don't count when you're visiting with a BC beach friend, right? Besides -- we walked for blocks and blocks and city blocks! Excercise!

Since we were in the 'big city' we made stops at a variety of places for things functional -- cupboards @ Target and hostas at a garden shop, and some prefab concrete blocks to extend our new little patio-ette.

This morning we got to wander a farmer's market art fair that was beyond description. So much fun!! I forgot to take my camera, so you'll have to take my word for it.

Serious BIG hugs to our newbies: HEYMOOSE --glad to see ya back, Julz: hugs for your friend, and Marissa (how CUTE is that baby, thanks, cuz I was havin' baby withdrawl.)

Spar -- so glad to hear that your grand-daughter came thru w/flying colors.... hopefully that will be enough to get her all squared away for the future

Jasmine -- glad that you're having a happy weekend and can catch your breath

Sahalie and Celia -- I'm just so thrilled to have you both back adding zest and zing to our shore

Sige -- come back with more beautiful ideas, Sahalie needs an apprentice for when she's on her big adventure....

Footie -- we'll all keep sending you good vibes for some help with your various needs, I hope that one of the agencies steps up and takes a leadership role in getting you what you need

Margo -- it's the weekend, fly on over and give us a quick update about your trip & departure

WingerDings -- you too!! If you're having fun, you're excused from giving us a report.

Shrink -- hope that you're having a good weekend, when do you leave?

Lisa -- I totally forgot to take my camera. Do you strap it on at the beginning of the day? I need to learn to "plan to be a photographer"  -- hopefully I'll get better at that

Janny -- so you don't drive the big BIKE? then we have a lot more in common....... I just hang on for dear life, too...... fun!! I just realized we've had this one for 10 years, cuz I got it for him on his last BIG birthday....

I'm probably missing a few..... as I'm outta practise. Sending hugs to all!! Fri, after behaving myself in the a.m. I came on to wish you a quick happy weekend ........... and I couldn't get connected to the web.... silly silly technology.

spar...... just read about your duck -- so sorry and know how horrible you must feel..... I'm glad you were able to return home when you did. Goodness. Now let yourself off the "hook" and take a deep breath.
