Jasmina jazzy jazz where art thou?
I've got Anthony Bourdain on in Spain right now. I think I have a crush on him. It's his voice.
And the ear ring. Ha ha. I was in ecstasy the time I watched him travel to the Marquesas.

Happy Day!! I'm making progress on my most recent project!! Slow but steady. It's a hoot -- attempting to get any "work" done in this environment, as there are always 'calls' for something more fun.
Thanks Sige for the mature goddess above and just LOVE all of those flip-flops!
Saint: thinking of you today, as you process Barbara's angel ceremony and prepare yourself for scans tomorrow. Will be sending you lots of Door County calm.
Sahalie: did you realize that this is the "land of cherries" -- much, much more than a bowl full. there are cherry orchards EVERYWHERE and therefore, cherry paraphanalia. a tough spring hurt this year's crop unfortunately
Julz: can't wait to see YOU up on you-tube some day
Jasmine: wonder what you're up to?
Spar: I'm always eager to see what you've got up your sleeve
Footie: sending you love and lemonade!!
Wings, oh Wingie, Winged Wonder One ...... will be scouting for you up-beach
Shrink: can't wait to hear more about your outfit for the big party..... can you put a picture up of it? then we can imagine you in all of your finery.
HeyMoose: did you get your personalized beach towel? I left it with the cabana boys
Margo: speaking of cabana boys..... will you tell us when you depart for Hawaii
Lisa: click, click ...... I remembered to take the camera along today!!

Good afternoon all, am just feeling so sad, hate to bring saddness to the beach thread but my aunt that had the stroke is not doing well, she can't talk so you can understand her and she gets frustrated to top it off today is her birthday and to really top it off her best friends grandson died of a drug overdose. It is the first time in my life I have seen my aunt cry. They are moving her to John Thorpe rehabilitation center this evening and she can only have visitors after 4 because they will be working her. Please say some prayers for her.
Saint, hope all your scans are clean
Margo, is there room in your suitcase? if I lose weight?
Where is wings?
Sige, love that ankle bracelet and flip flops, older women are beautiful just in a different way from the younger ones.
Faith, are you going to post us some pictures later?
Jaz, where are you, missing you

Speaking of cutie pies...seems as though dogs like the same kinds of things we do on the beach...playing in the sand...
...feeling the ocean breeze on your face...
...playing fetch (although humans usually fetch drinks)...
...lollygagging in the hot summer sun...
...and snoozing the day away...
...until it's time to be picked up by your best friend!!!
Happy Beach Days to you all!
Peggy

I see Spar is finding us neat beach art today & Hot Grannies! Never say never! Special thoughts for our Wings!
Sige ~ Nice canine friends for our beach! Love the flops! I wish I could get my leg/s up that high!
Faith ~ You just keep that faith going, YOU TUBE HUH! Yeah right! Some way I will record & send through snail mail Maybe? We Will Have To See!
Sahalie ~ I love cherries? But with the stems on. Why, you say, cause I like to do a useless trick of tieing the stem with my tounge. Look Sahalie no hands!
This is what it looks like (the stem) when it comes out of my mouth!
Saint ~ Thinking of you! Sending you Gentle hugs!
To all the rest of my Beachy Friends, one more night of work. Although I will be busy the mext few days I will catch up with you all later! Much Love to you all!

EXCITING News!! Amidst all of the heavy news here at the beach...... I have a bright excitement ahead to report. Our DD2 is going to fly up here to us for a long weekend. How cool is that? She's never been up here before (none of our kids have, she'll be first.) So exciting.
Tomorrow will spend "fluffing" all 800 square feet of our little place and she flies in first thing on Thursday morning..... so I'll be a bit preoccupied.
Love all of the recent pic posts.
Hugs and prayers to you Spar on behalf of your dear aunt.
Strength and courage to our SAINT on walking into those scans tomorrow with calm.
big smiles to everyone else!!!!

Here's evidence that I've been working at my drawing board. This is one of a two page illustration demonstrating the sign language for my up-coming book. It's over half way done now.

Dear Beach Friends, I am getting alittle nervous, I see my new cancer Dr and I hope he can help me get my full suit and run tests when needed. My prays are with all my beach friends. I need to look and call to see if I can get over these mountains. I wish this month was over and I knew where I was with all these mountains. I want to thanks everyone for the peep talks and the hugs. I was on TV when the heat was in Washington and I told them about people with breast cancer and lymphedema. That we need more help and coverage for alot of people and showed them the holes in my gloves and suit. They ask me about the heat and lymphedema, Then ask where I get my support, I told them there is a neat on-line groups. I hope I was able to open more peoples eyes that there are alot of people fighting with not alot of coverage and help. To all beach babies thanks for caring. We can do it with pray and love,Debbie

Good morning beach babes. I'm sorry to be MIA but work is really really busy right now. I haven't had a chance to read back but will try to do that this evening.
Spar -- so sorry about your aunt. How is your ducky doing?
Sahalie -- hugs for you today.
Faith -- those illustrations are incredible! You are so artistic.
Sorry but I don't have time to mention everyone but I will do better tonight.

Hi girls, have time to read back this morning so will.
Sahalie, so you were an Olympic star huh? I don't know how many lanes
El Camino is where you are, but one night I was leaving a bar with a bunch of
friends and started walking across El Camino. My heel got stuck in a hole
and I tripped and stumbled across six lanes of traffic, just knowing I was going
to fall flat on my face in the middle of the street. Horns are honking and my
girlfriends are laughing so hard they had to stop walking. You know how you
start to trip and you can't catch yourself and your hands are in front of you to
stop your fall? Well, that was me. I made it across tho w/o falling. Thank
goodness it was dark.Julz, yup, that's the photo I saw of Helen Mirrin. I can barely chew without
biting my tongue so can't even imagine tying a cherry pit stem.Faith, love the pics. I leave for Maui Sept. 5.
Spar, that was one pic I didn't need to see but that will be me too if I don't quit
eating. Sorry to hear about your aunt. She is in my prayers. And yes, there is
room in the suitcase, I'll just check bags if you don't fit in my carryon.....Saint, sorry to hear about Barbara.
Debbie, hugs to you.
Ok, time to start my day.

Saint: I'm making an extreme exception to my no computer before noon rule, just for you! I wanted you to know that I'm sending you calm and acceptance from up here -- where the air is crisp this morning. Thinking of you, champ.
Footie: since I'm here I need to send a shout out to you too. We do indeed hold you in our hearts and prayers for intervention from those who hold the strings.
Everybody else I'll 'talk' to later today.
Splish splash, beachie bunnies

Good morning shining shells.
Jazz. I am so relieved to see words from you. Work does interrupt
but it is a good interruption. Keeps our minds sharp.
Edited to add delightful seashell*
