Great shot Faith!!! If one of the rocket scientists that I gave birth to had thought to bring a camera tonight, our shot would have looked pretty much like yours!!!

Hi everybody got home early this morning.I must share this with you.Xmas eve morning I was going for my last beach walk when I notice a tiny baby sea turtle and then another.Aparently many hatched last night and they were all heading to the ocean.Soo cute.Several of us helped get them to the deeper water in hopes of avoiding the birds who were starting to circle.Just made my xmas special. Here is a photo of one of the little guys.Photo to follow I have to download first.0

It's amazing that you witnessed that Mum. It's a wonder any of the little fellows make it to adulthood.

roomies. I may be repeating, but if you haven't clicked the link yet at top or bottom of page where it says about the women who shared in the video ... I'm one of them and it was one of the proudest, coolest things I've ever done for BCO. Still gives me smiles and chills to watch that video and see all the women and yes, I'll admit seeing me is cool!!!! Love and hugs to you all.0

Faithie, Hope you made it to Ocala before the snow started to fall in GA. I just checked out the newspapers from Charlotte NC where both my DD's are now and they are having a snow storm! They are so excited to see snow.... only had snow is S FL twice that I remember once in 84? and it collected enough on the roof of the car that the girls could make a snowman. So far in the Charlotte news the photos are so pretty. It looks like a wet snow where it is sticking to the trees and making the most beautiful postcards. I was going to try for the beach myself today but it's starting to blow here, with the winds about 35 mph and cloudy. I'll just have to settle for your beach pic's instead and stay inside and drink my hot chocolate!0

We're 3 hours south of Augusta, GA............. going cross country route (rather than interstates) and the snow in the air is just beginning to conclude.
It was hard to tear mysel away from Wonderboy & the TwinZees this morning. I got to get them dressed and have some quality giggle time. Then all too abruptly it was time to hug everyone goodby for a l-o-n-g time and push them out into the snow.
It was genuinely snowing in Augusta by the time we hit the road. I can't bear to listen to all of the storm reports, until that they are all safe & sound and in their own homes.
The DC kids are a half step brighter & they got out super early in an effort to get up into the midst of it a little earlier.
It was really glorious to spend the last several days together. My mom was really overcome last night when we all said goodby to them. She was so glad to have us all under foot....... and then ****poof**** we're all gone again.
It was great to spend time with my neice Kelly. Many of you were around when she went thru her thyroid cancer surgery earlier this fall. She's such a sweet heart. Twill have to await the BIG family picture with everyone -- via a remote picture snapper & tripod.

Drive safely, Mr. Faith. Keep our Faithie safe!
3Jays, you made me laugh out loud with your coment on the "wind. Dh wanted to know what I was laughing at, but I could not tell him.
Mum, what an amazing experience to help those baby turtles! That would have been right up my alley. I would not have wanted to leave until I was sure all of them were safely in the deeper water.
Raj, thank you so much for the gifts. As usual, you are so thoughtful.

We had just under a foot of snow yesterday into last night. When I went out to check for mail today, this is what my front porch looked like ... those are beach chair planters that I leave out all year even when I can't keep plants in them. Quite the contrast, huh? This is a covered porch by the way - full roof over it - so you can guess how hard the wind was blowing to get that much snow up to the porch.

Great beach & snow shot. It just gives you something to look forward to. I noticed the sun was finally shining. Yeah.

We measure the snow by how far up the sliding door it is. We've had it over 3 1/2 feet! That is an area that doesn't get shovelled so it's the actual build up, melt, build up....
