Hi Lisa! your  beach picture  is so good .. you know I feel like  to make  home  and  stay there to relax my body and soul. Seeing only the picture, I feel so refresh as if I am also there  amongst the penguins.

Miss Bianca my husband is obsessed with photographing birds he carries two  huge Canon cameras around his neck and a third one for scenery which I ususually carry. But I think its the expensive lenses that he has on them that give us such clarity in the shots. He is semiretired so we spend alot of time traveling and taking photographs. This month he is off to china so I am sneaking off to Jamaica with a girlfriend at the end of this month. I promise to take more beach shots.

Thanks, Mum. It is amazing what you can capture in motion and in such detail. My dad left me his camera equipment many years ago, and it is a Canon, with lots of cool lenses. It is completely old school, manual with film. I have boxes of pics that I need to spend the time to scan in. I have digital cameras now, but miss those lenses.

Lisa, Chrissy's pelicans are dressed up for an evening out at Sydney's Opera House. Our brown old birds just hang around the piers ready for a hootenanny! Lisa, where did you take the photo with the rocks? Is it the way the picture came out, or do those rocks look like alabaster? I love how the light illuminates them.

I used to have a film camera and when I finally got digital I got the same brand...Nikon, so I can used my very expensive lenses on my new camera! One of my lenses is now worth about $9,000!!! Holy crap! Amazing what a good investment will do. Wish someone would give me that for it.....

Yeah, I think so. I think that's where the snorkelers go in the protected area along the cliff. Love that photo and the boulder for a center point.

It's lovely how sunsets bring out the orange hues in everything. I like taking pictures of my son in the afternoon, with his hair lit up a beautiful shade of caramel.

Hi Lisa, Chrissy, Barbe , faith.. it is  very nice  to see the picture. Let us  start posting  our  collection instead of having discussion  on happening  of our life. This is good  and if we are  carrying happy life  BC cant face with us if I am not wrong. I used  Sony cam  which is not so expensive  like  Barbee,s .As Nikon camera  is very expensive and professional camera barbe can start  clicking  various  events  to go on professional. I am just kidding!

Raj, I'd love to go professional!!! But, I find that as soon as I HAVE to do something, it takes the joy away. My DH keeps telling me to get my batteries charged (for my camera) since we've moved, and because I "have" to, I don't "want" to. Isn't human nature amazing????

Raj, I'm so glad you learned to post pictures.  I've been enjoying your humor as well.

With the Enjoyment of the pictures, the humor, the information and the emotional and psychological support I find in these groups I find BOC rather addicting.  But, I do think it is a good addiction.  Smile
