    HeyCHERYL!!!!!

I just LUV when we hear from one of our ol' beachie-gals. Always great to have you pop thru!

There's always new adventures around here.

Lisa, Your clipper ship makes me think it's time for us to already be up north!!!

Here's one of my clippers from last summer:

We have enough 'newbies' to enjoy some re-runs.

Get me back to the big bay!!!

Faithie, those awesome pics remind me of the movie Life Is Beautiful (La Vita e Bella). Did anyone see this movie? It won so many oscars. What a wonderful experience. Good luck tomorrow.

Lisa, is that the Hotel del Coronado?

    Love the boats, ladies.

Wow, Coronado is so beautiful. It has the elegance of a bygone era. I remember all the photos .of the presidents who had stayed there in the hallway. There was an icecream shop you could go to and then lounge outside with your dessert. It reminded me of a scene something Renior might paint.

Wow, I haven't been visiting the beach much and had pages and pages to catch up on.  I finally got back to work and have not had much time to be on th  boards.  I wish I had been on the beach because it is always so uplifting.

Great shots Chabba!!! I had my DH look at them this morning and he reminded me of the time we were going out scuba diving in the Gulf of Mexico. We went 32 miles out very early in the morning and all of a sudden out of the mist and the weak morning sunrise there loomed a shrimp ship with it's trawlers hanging over the sides like spider legs! It was an image I'll never forget. Just breath taking, but you could never get the shot as we were moving and the lighting changed in seconds and all then it was gone.

    Hi Beachettes,

Faith, thanks for the welcome.  Sorry, I did not have my flip flops on, you know the purple ones.  The ships are great to look at.  You may want to wait a while before you head north, it is freezing in Buffalo, NY right now.

SoCalLisa, the beach pics of Coronado are great.  I remember staying there a few years ago.  What a great place.

Signing off for the night, have a great sunrise.

    Your friend, freezing in Buffalo,

    Cheryl

    cake barb

Barbe, sorry it's late. I had to fly to Paris for cake baking lessons, Geneva for the chocolate, and London for Wedgwood blue icing. I didn't buy quite enough... sorry about the missing "e". That's my story, and I'm sticking to it! LOL! Hope it was a good one.
