    Lovely rose.

A picture taken this week of the Lady Washington and a companion as she returned to her home harbor.

A momentary departure from the beach..............

Here's a few pictures from my latest blog post.

These are of the Cathedral in Milan.

We were there on Easter Sunday late in the afternoon.

I have just read on the web, that this is considered to be the second largest Catholic Cathedral in the world and comfortably seats 40,000.

This is certainly one of my favorite pictures of the entire trip:

I was able to light a candle and say a prayer for everyone here at BCO.

Seeing the parade of candles going on & on was so moving.

The prayers of so many, lit with hope.

I carried all of you in my heart on this pilgrimage & this was a fitting way to spend our final day in Italy. I will remember the hushed reverance surrounding those candles for the rest of my life.

    Strength and courage.

Awesome pics! I can always count on you guys to bring such beauty to my day! The cathedral is spectacular, Faith. I love the Gothic architecture.  What a special place to be for Easter. Thank you for lighting a candle for us.

Lovely ships, bears, and roses, too, ladies!

Believe it or not, we have them here also. Surprised me since I am from PA then lived in DC and they do not roam there.

Our wildlife is almost as much of a draw to tourists in our little town as the beach.  Sometimes it seems as though we have almost as many deer as we do residents.  We also have the coyotes, bear, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, fox, owls, several types of eagles including the bald, and the occasional visiting cougar.  Not to mention all the ducks, geese, and other birds.  And I've probably forgotten some.  The bear and the fox usually stay in the less developed residential areas but the others show up right down down on a regular basis.

Lisa, that pic is stunning!!!  Who ever the garden designer was certainly knew what he/she was doing when they put that combination of plants together.

Raj and Chrissy: welcome back! I've missed each of you.

Mary, I've lost track of where you are currently (with limited web access??)

Lisa. Coming back to our beach and seeing the 'underwater' rock garden again this morning takes my breath away all over again. The gardner was brilliant, but the photographer gets serious credit for knowing how to capture the image. The lighting is truly perfect. You have so many photos that should be shared with the wider world and this one is now at the top of the list.

MUM!!! Where our Mum?? I'm quasi-patiently awaiting your beachie images from your cruise.

Barbara, Sheila, Samsue, MissyB, Blondie, Eph -- always happy to see your avatars!

Started my morning by posting on FB, "Today is the first day of the rest of your life" always feels to have so much more validity when it's the first day after school concludes for me. LOL

Wonder what project I will launch?

    xx00xx00xx00xx

Chabba, you are truly surrounded by nature's wonder-land.

Where's some of our other beachie girls?? Sharon, Coonie, Barbe, 3Jays, DuckyB, HeyCherylMoose, Julz, Dream, KK, Elaine, Meecie, BarelySaneIris.... not to make a list and leave way too many names off by virtue of my Swiss-cheese capacity..... we miss our buddies.

Time for a weekend Luau!!!! Breakfast is ready:
