What a lovely shot of the flock of birds on the beach.  It's such fun to watch them all travelling together.

Over the last week we have taken another of our cross-country adventures, driving.

Started in southern FL, we are down here by Ft. Lauderdale -- we went up thru Panama City Beach onto New Orleans for the day, on to Tibodaux for a school visit and then Baton Rouge for a couple days of presenting at a conference there. I got to meet our very own COOOOOOOONIE's very own daughter, now a teacher!!!!!!

Got to hug her. Got to think GREAT GOOGALA-MOOOGALA!!!!

I've been working on my blogging and cyber adventures. I finally for the first time wrote out and 'retold' a story that I often share in my presentations. If you have a moment I'd be so grateful for you to read it. It's the story of a 'medical miracle' (as documented by Oprah on that segment of her old show.)

It's about parents and their journey with their child with extreme special needs. I played a teeny tiny part in the story of his miraculous growth.

I offer it to you as uplifting encouragement.

    Here's the link: http://www.rainbowswithinreach.blogspot.com/2012/01/lion-lady.html

We have two more weeks down here in SOUTHERN FL.

    Hugs to one and all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

chabba, I love that last one :) we've crossed into another month, which means I'm that much closer to seeing my beach again, humble as it may be. we have dd's wedding in April so that's occupying lots of our thoughts/plans, and after that it's bring on spring/summer :)

Chabba, thanks for such great pictures. Love the owl, he/she's beautiful!

Had to run an errand this AM on the way into my subdivision nearly ran over (stopped soon enough) a sandhill crane.... they're such dummies they think they can walk anywhere. Sorry no picture this time. It was alone so don't know if it was a baby or not.

    WOWOWO!!!!!

    That was big.

    LOL.

    Like a life-size billboard. LOL.

That's from our 'afternoon' in the Bahamas. Such a postcard afternoon!

The sand was soooooooooooooooooooo perfect for writing!

    LUV you beachies!

MUM + Lisa. We went to an Arts Festival today (we're still in southern FL, 80 degrees) and there were photographers of course. I kept thinking, Mum's TinyFishy Birds are every bit as breath-taking as those captured and Lisa's flowers are so much better than the ones I saw today.

    Happy weekend everyone!

no joke, the pics on this site are incredibly wonderfully wonderful. I know I'm not alone in say that they take my breath away sometimes. I've often asked individual posters whether they considered publishing (other than tinyfishy) because of the quality. I know I'm not a true photographer, I jsut get really lucky sometimes. but some of you, and you know who you are :), are blessed with a gift and I for one am so grateful that you share it with me.

    Thanks :)

Yep, the pictures on this site feed my soul!! Blue clouds Faith!!! That's a first for me!!!!

I used to teach some art forms and I am blessed with a good eye for photo as well. I had my niece with me last summer and what I told her was "Shoot for the nose hair, not the nose". Her pictures became AMAZING!!!! Most people leave too much empty space around their subject - little pin head people. She zoomed in on her flowers and they filled her frame with FABULOUS shots!! So -

Shoot for the nose hair, not the nose!!
