Mum, was that Sandy Lane beach in Barbados? I think my favorite beach in the Caribbean has to be this one. Friendship Bay, Bequia.

Chabba, Which beach do they frequent? Love to take a drive and see some. Is morning or afternoon the time they are most seen?

Hey Beachies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How is everybody???? Sure hope all of you are doing great! The pics are beeeeeutiful!!!
Mum---so glad you had a nice trip. I like the coconuts when they serve as your "doubles". Now I can't ever look at a coconut the same way.
I enjoy everyone's pictures!!!! Wish I could take a little breather and just sit and stare for awhile. I've had alot going on----mostly work----but I just haven't had time to play on the puter like I want to. Hopefully, that'll change real soon.
Anyway...............wish all of you could join me here

Mum - love all the beach shots. Thanks for sharing them. One of these days I will get to travel the world.
Hope everyone is having a good week and has plans for a great weekend.

Mum: Were you on a cruise? If so, which one? I was in Dominica xxx years ago before Independance. It was amazing to see the apples growing in the cold at the peaks and tropical flowers at sea level.

Last year I did the eastern this time it was the southern caribean. The prices right now are better and it is a very relaxing way to travel. Here in Canada we have to add flight costs to catch our ships. But Toronto seems to be a great location for flights worldwide,I think I have managed to see 14 different Caribean islands so far.I am hoping to stay healthy eonough to visit them all.0

I love the dog and cat pic. So peaceful. I remember seeing Eagles like that in Alaska, they were amazing. The flowers are so vivid. Thanks for sharing all. Have a great weekend.

Great pics everyone. I needed something to make me feel better. I am to have a Nerve Conduction Study tomorrow morning and since I have not had that done before I am a little anxious about it. Anyone else had this done before?

I had one....not bad at all

Thanks for the word of encouragement Lisa. I am trying not to freak out since DH will not be able to go with me to this appointment and he generally goes with me to every appointment.

I've had one too, it's just time consuming as I recall. At some points you do get a jolt as the nerve actually responds, but they start off very gently and only increase if you don't seem to be responding. Takes a while to test all the areas of concern. Are you doing legs or arms?
0 -
Barbe - Both legs and arms.
0 -
I had it in my arms only at the time. Like I said, it's a longish process and a lot of leads to arrange and test in different positions on your arms. Leads like they use for and ECG. Let us know how you do!

Barbe - will do. They are starting at 7:45 in the morning and said I should plan to be there all day.

DH changed his plans and told the people at work that he needed to be with me so he went with me to the appointment for the nerve conduction study. I am really glad he did that as I kind of lost it during the test. The shocks were bad enough, but the probe that delivered the shocks was worse especialy on my legs. I thought the tech was going to stab it all the way to the bone! The Dr. said I have mild neuropathy in my hands and feet, like I didn't already know that. Oh well at least it is in my record now as being dx. Only took 3 hours so I got to go to a new fabric shop before coming home to a nap.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{ Elisimo (can't get used to that!) }}}}}}}}}}}}}} At least you got new fabric for your pain. So sorry it was annoying. I hope my email didn't give you false expectations....!!

barbe - everything turned out okay and I am in a better place of mind today.
Only had to give blood 14 vials, for all of my lab work today. With two different doctors wanting a bunch of different tests I thought they were going to take all my blood. I actually got dizzy and they had me sit back down and brought me some juice and cookies. Tomorrow movers bring stuff from my Mom's house here and then I go to my embroidery class. I will have to think about where in the world I am going to put all the stuff that is arriving tomorrow. My house is already jam packed. Good thing Chrissy came when she did, because I could not even find a bed for her now. All the rooms are filled with boxes and boxes of stuff. And I was trying to get organized and it seems like everything started multiplying once it was moved to a new place.

Chabba, I will be mailing you some pics tomorrow!! I hope you like them. It was hard to pick which one of two I did, so my DH decided which one to send. I added a second one just because. I hope you enjoy them!
I like the pic above and will probably do that one next! (I did that moon one from pages ago on a really BIG paper and it is just stunning!! Everyone tells me that, so it must be true!)
