She did have good weather, but she didn't do well with the altitude & the steps. She did it, but she paid for it!

Lisa - Somehow I just knew you would know where I was. I have really been missing California since my DD and her family moved from Monterey to Japan and next on to Korea! Looks like it will be another 2 years before they get back to the states. Chrissy - love the snowflake throw, I knew you would get it finished.
Hugs and love to all, AJ

Thank you ladies for all the pictures the last few years. This thread got me through original surgeries, then recurrence & chemo & more surgery & more chemo & rads & now PT. And all I really want is an ocean or a beach. Your posts are balm to the soul until I can travel again!!! Trying to plan San Francisco in April and then on to Hawaii. San Diego got postponed again since my friend from Sun City I was meeting just died last week. I'm going back through the pictures again for support!!!.

I think about this thread every single day and often go back to look at previous pictures. I am so glad to see new posts since a) I'm not able to get to a beach, and b) I don't have camera skills. The beach is my 'rock' - no pun intended although I do like rocky beaches.
Mumito - was that by Phuket?

I know exactly how you feel the beach and ocean waves are my go to place when ever I need that escape.
We avoided Puhket this time this was Cha Wan beach only an hour drive out of Bangkok. Also lots of birding marshes nearby for my DH to photograph his birds.
I took this shot of him birding in Cambodia.

This beach was in Cambodia just outside Columbo.
