Nico - you are so diligent. There is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much good information here for people just starting chemo. I literally wouldn't have made it through without this info.

I'll try to do better at assisting it to the active list.

    Happy New Year!

I am embarking on my own Chemo Journey on Monday and am a planner! So I appreciate all of the posted information I've read on this forum. My recovery from surgery has been pretty smooth, so I'm hoping for more of the same :)

    Many thanks to the community....

GoingRed - there's usually a chemo thread for people starting each month. It was helpful to me to read the month before and then share with people who were experiencing the same problems in real time. Wishing you an easy chemo journey.

MsKarin, Did your sister say how often it's okay to use this swish concoction for mouth sores? Thank you!

Sweet - this is a very comprehensive thread to MsKarin may not be posting any longer. Lots of people drop out after their treatment is concluded.

However I too used the "magic mouthwash". If I remember correctly, I used morning and night. Since it is usually made by a compounding pharmacy, the pharmacist could probably tell you.
