Foots, Love from Tragedy to Triumph
My husband preached on the seed of Faith last week and understanding without a shadow of doubt that God will fulfill his promises. The message flooded me with so many overwhelming feelings. And suddenly, the song "Just a Word from The Lord" filled my thoughts. In my worst moments, in those moments when I just need to rest it maybe a positive thought, word or action that will act as a seed that that will spark what I need to come out of that dark place, that positive thought, word or action may be what I need to be encouraged and most of all the positive thought, word or actions may be what I need to drive me to mediate on God's Word and pray and just begin to quote the Promises He has given me. In the message my husband talked about the seed of faith and that our Heavenly Father's Word will accomplish what it was sent out to do.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen - Hebrews 11:1

I asked God to strengthen me--
I prayed all through the night,
For I have heavy burdens to bear
That might not turn out right.
And then God did answer me:
"The burdens will not stay;
Just trust My Word and keep the faith--
I will lead the way.
And believe you will have strength--
You are in My care.
There are churches for worship and songs to sing--
Blessing are yours to share."
And then I quickly realized --
If burdens come my way...
Faith will shield me--- God is there--
Answers come as I pray.

with all the new and those going through tests, bless them with
peace and Your caring love. Be with all those that are having
surgery tomorrow, guide those that are doing it, as You know
just what to do. Be with all those that are having treatment and

I wish scary situations never came up in my life, but they do. Extreme stress, major illness, financial difficulties, and strained family relationships are just a few I've faced. When I'm encountering situations like these, I don't have to be strong myself. True courage comes from understanding that you are stronger than my biggest problem or my worst enemy. Your word makes clear that you want to help me by giving me your power. Thank you lord, that even when my faith is shaky, i can have absolute confidence in your strength. I am afraid when i feel as if I am facing a great threat alone. But when I know you are beside me helping me fight the threat, I can be courageous. May I never forget your presence with me. Build up my courage so I may be able to face whatever lies ahead.
