Dear Heavenly Father,
Please give us tolerance for the side effects our life saving medications create. Let us not give up on the treatments that keep us alive. Please ease our discomforts, find nutritional support to keep up our blood and bones healthy, as the good food You created also holds medicinal properties. Help us to do due diligence in seeking solid nutritional knowledge that will support our health and treatment.
Please heal us, so we may be alive here on Earth to do Your work for the Kingdom of God, leading others to salvation.
Let us us dwell on what is good in others. Kind words naturally follow, and Your word says this is physically healing to us. In Jesus' name, amen

Dear Lord, it is summertime here in the northern part of the world. A time when many look forward to vacations and time off with family. But many here are struggling through a new diagnosis, news of a progress, many tests and scans, side effects from treatment, and will not be able to enjoy this season as they would like to.
Help our sisters here with your strength and love through these summer months and help them to find moments of peace and perhaps a moment of joy along the way during the warmer weather days. You are always with us, helping us each and every day. We thank you for your grace upon our lives.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Please give us peaceful hearts when others offend us. Give us tolerance with other personalities who are easily offended and who look for slights when none were intended.
Please give us tenacity and endurance with our lives, whatever we struggle with, that we can finish the race, strengthened and encouraged by You, Lord. Let us have restful, healing sleep tonight.

Thank you for providing a safe haven for us to gather and pray for one another. You are persuaded by prayer, and incline Your ear to us. Please give us our spiritual bread, for You said that Man cannot eat by bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4

Our needs as we battle this disease with You are great. We need Your peace to settle our anxieties, as we learn of medical results, and anticipate upcoming treatment, surgeries, or scans. Let us recover quickly from our treatments.

Dear Heavenly Father,
The life saving treatments and medical care we endure are rigorous, emotionally and physically taxing, and for some, a long race to the finish line.
Please fill us with endurance and courage, replace our fear with hope, and build our characters as you refine us when we are under pressure, like coal is turned to diamonds.
We are Your precious children, and we can trust in You completely with our lives and Your perfect will. Jesus, we know that You go before us and have already prepared our place in heaven. We know that the trials in this life are lessons in love, and build noble character. Thank you for all You have done for us.

Dear Heavenly Father..
I'm feeling really sick today. My flesh tells me not to pray, to wait to post this another time when I'm feeling better..but you, my Lord have a different plan for me as I sit here in pain typing these words..you are telling me that "It is in my weakness, that you will be strong and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." It is through my pain and my fear that You will shine your light upon my path and lead me into your presence where there will be fullness of joy. And your joy is my strength.
So I will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."May this small sacrifice, my prayer through the pain and through the darkness of my soul this day, shed His light like a beacon of hope into the darkened corners of someone else's life today as we walk through the shadows..we will have no fear, for You, Dear Lord are with us! May we feel the joy and peace that only comes from being in the Presence of our Lord and King.

May you send the Holy Spirit, whom You call the Comforter, to those in these hours of need, pain, anxiety, fear, or despair.

Thank you for the religious freedom that was hard won during the foundation of this country.

Dear Lord,
Please help us to remember the blessings we have even though we do not always remember in the midst of our struggles.
Pleae helps us to remember that courage isn't having strength to go on but going on when we do not have strength. Only You can get us through those times.
