You give all of us spiritual gifts to strengthen the body of Christ, who are His believers. Thank you for the diligent, caring heart of Footprintsangel, who prays for us unceasingly. For all she prays for, may my voice be added. Thank you for the contributing prayers of Jazzygirl, Cindy, and others, as well as the readers who pray along with us. Jesus is with us. It is His promise.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray for PattyPeppermint, a lovely woman with two teenage boys, who was told she only has 2 or 3 weeks left to live. He sons are returning back to school. I pray that You extend her life, that she may her see her sons settled into the school year, that they would be spared returning to school grieving for their mother. May she see all the holidays with them, that the words of the doctor are not written in stone, that You are the sustainer of life, and Your timing is always perfect and purposeful.
Please ease her exhaustion, let her have access to very nutritional supplements and smoothies, or what she can bear, to renew her energy for the months ahead. Please grant her an extension for a beautiful, tender time with her sons.

Dear Heavenly Father,
The weight of darkness sinks us into a pit of despair. It steals our hope, our joy, and the vibrancy of life that is God given and we have in You, Jesus. You truly are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. John 14:6 The life You give is not just for our eternal salvation, but that our present life we receive in full.
When we are discouraged and feeling forsaken the Enemy, the thief, steals our hope. When we have desperation instead of faith, the enemy has killed our life source, our connection to God. When we lose our gratitude for all our answered prayers throughout our lifetime, our thanksgiving for God's grace is forgotten.
When the thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy, He wants to take away our light, and for us to be in utter darkness.
But Lord, Your light that gives our lives abundance has not been overcome. You are the light of the world.
