    Oh Arnie it is so good to see you also.  Hope you are feeling better today.  today am looking for streams to fish and canoe in and maybe hoping to see inside one of those tree houses.

    Sierra, good to hear from you, am not a big fan of snakes but do admit some are really beautiful colors and so are some of the colorful frogs.  Tell your mom a happy birthday from your bc friends.

    Today I drove past the cross tree and only about 50 butterflys flew up, I wonder if they go south for the winter or what they do in the freezing weather.  I don't ever remember seeing a butterfly in the winter.  I walked up to the cross tree and all of the butterflys are either orange or a silver tan and black looking so only 2 colors of them.

    Arnie2two, sure hope you are feeling better and those counts are up.

    The last one is what most of the butterflys look like on the tree, there are so many different beautiful colors.

    OH, that will be fun, hope she stays safe.  I love slow steams and maybe class I or II rapids but am scared to death of class III and IV.  Almost lost my life in class IV rapids in Colorado. Deb, have you been WW rafting?  if so what did you think of it?

    I have grandkids this weekend so won't get much computer time.  We are going to the city tomorrow and hoping to get home before all the football traffic comes in.  My little granddaughter that is very girly wants to get a facial done at merly norman and some free samples and wants to eat at Chili's (just us girls)  So this is her special day.

    She is probably just having too much fun.  Does she have a cell phone you can call or the hotel she is staying in?  Please let me know when you do hear so I can quit worrying with you.

    Deborye, hope you have heard from your DD by now and every thing is ok.

    Goodmorning mountaineers.  Hope all has a good day.  The sun is shining and the DH is spreading sand everywhere, gardens, low places, flower beds, etc.  I am wanting to use sand to make a little beach at the pond.  I thought maybe with sand, snakes would quit getting under our row boat.

    This would be a great day for canoeing or kayaking.

    I prefer the peaceful waters.  I am thinking of asking DH if we can go down the illinois river next week.  We haven't done it this summer yet.

    This is the illinois river we usually go down each year.  It is so much fun and so peaceful.  We always take an ice chest with sandwiches and soft drinks and use one of those bungee things to secure it in the canoe.  Hope all is having a great day.

    Pheww, yes, she had a very good time.  She just could not get any service up in Gods Country.  The North Woods in New Hampshire.  Now she is on her way to Italy.

    Wow, Deb, on her way to Italy.  How exciting for her but probably you will miss her a lot huh?  Can't wait to see the pictures.

    Tonight was our 3rd visit to the new church and we decided for sure this is the one we want to join.  It is fantastic.

    Hope all has a good night on the mountain.  I am so hungry for some smores.  Gather round and lets eat some smores, drink some coffee or tea and talk.

    That sounds good Deb, I will check out your site in a bit.  So your daughter travels on her job, that would be exciting.

    It has been pouring down rain here today and we do so need it.  The baby deer keeps coming closer and closer to the house.  I wish I knew what happened to the other one.  Everything is so green and beautiful.

    Have been wanting to go horseback riding.  May rent some and follow some trails and see what we can see.

    Oh Deborye, you have got to try it at least once.  It really is fun, there is nothing like the freedom of a galloping horse and the wind in your face.  Loved seeing the pictures of your daughter in Nice.  I couldn't believe a real phone booth and a red pretty one.  Never have seen one like that.

    Looks like our kayaking trip will have to wait for better weather, it has rained hard for 2 days now.  I am not complaining though we needed it.

    My son flew out early this morning, it was so good to see him.  I think he is homesick for Okla Even though he has lived most of him life on the East coast, he has been out there 17 years now.

    I was gonna have him hold his badge out and kiss me on the cheek and I was gonna post the picture with this is how I like to be arrested but I forgot in the excitement of spending time with him.  Didn't even take any pictures.  Shame on me.

    It is getting dark earlier, soon the time will change and it will get dark way too early.  I am in the mood for some pictures of sunflowers and roses

    Goodevening Mountaineers, have been playing with the knifty knitter most of the day, am on my third hat.  Thought I would take a break and hunt some relaxing pictures.  hope all has had a good day.  Looking forward to tonight because on Wednesdays they sing the old hymns.

    It is amazing how animals need love and hugs also.  Today my dog and all the cats are all cuddled up together on the deck sleeping.  I took some pictures but for some reason by camera will not download to the computer.  I just got new security protection so that might have something to do with it.

    Oh Spar what pretty Autumn pics.  Next Tuesday the 22nd is the first day of Autumn.  My onc appt also.  I will have more pics of Rebekah once I download them on multiply.  She got back from Nice, France, Paris then London yesterday and came into work today.  We work at the same company.  www.cynosure.com
