goodmorning beautiful mountain and mountaineers.  Does anyone know what is going on with the dragonfly's, opened the patio doors and there are 100's of them swooping everywhere, I just stood there saying oh wow, oh wow, have never seen anything like this.  It was amazing, they just swarmed around me like I wasn't even there.

Hi spar.....Beautiful cabin!.....it reminds me of my friend's cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains......She has one that is on the tip top of a mountain near Helen, Ga and it is so beautiful and quiet.....I saw deer there the last time I was up there........Too bad there's no hot tub...lol......Love you too, sweet sister, Spar........Call me sometime when you get the chance.......

My cabin is just a fantasy but it is fun to dream of cabins in the mountain.  I bet that cabin was beautiful.  Hey, we can always add a hot tub but with these hot flashes I'd have to wait to winter to use it. LOL

We really do have 2 fawns living in our yard, early in the morning they are there grazing and in the afternoon they lay down under the shade trees.

You are so welcome for the laugh, it is funny and what a smart dog. LOL

We spent yesterday at the park at Sulphur and tried to capture a butterfly picture and how clear the water is.  cold and clear, great for wading on a hot day.  Will post a picture of my friend and her son, and the butterfly.

000_1111.jpg Michelle and Owen picture by spark56_photo

the butterfly was black with bright blue edgeing around the wings, the picture just doesn't capture the beauty (I don't have zoom) but you can tell how clean and clear the water it.

    Such a fun day.

The Newest Covered Bridge is Located in the Acadian Village. It was built for a set of 1902 plans.

Growing up we had guinie pigs and they just lived in the house with us and roamed free, I couldn't do it now at all but growing up I loved it.  They would climb up in your lap, climb up on your bed, and they had one place they used the bathroom and that was under the ice box which drove my dad crazy.

We really do have 2 fawns that are living on our land, when they get close to the garden our little weiner dog will bark and run them off but they always come back.  It is so pleasant to sit out on the deck and watch the fawns grazing in the morning and watching the kittens play and drinking that first cup of java.

    Night all

Hi, Estepp, thank you so much for the warm welcome back and for mountain blessings. It has been a long tireing good day.  Too tired to post much.  Went to one of my friends (has stage IV breast cancer) mother's birthday.  It was huge, visited with people I haven't seen since the 70's including people who were my teachers in high school.  My very first boyfriend's mother was there from when I was 14 years old, he had died from brain cancer early in life.  Some people had hardly changed and some I would not recognize on the street.

My daughter and her sister in law held a huge garage sale at the fire department so had to visit there. I saw my old computer desk that my son had put together when he was a kid.  I was informed no I could not buy anything.  My daughter is helping me cut down on clutter.LOL

We are visiting yet another new church in the morning.  Have found 2 really good ones so far.

No time to take a hike on the mountain tonight but tomorrow hope to take a hike, do some climbing and post some pictures.

A big good night to all my friends, I do so love you guys very much.

000_1116.jpg The cross picture by spark56_photo

Just had to post the cross dh built, I thought it was a miracle that hundreds of butterflies were on it the other day but everytime we drive past it hundreds of butterflies fly up, it just gives me goosebumps.  We have 10 flowering trees on order and a cherry tree to plant.  We are planting bamboo along the chain length fence for privacy, also bamboo makes great rods for wall hangings.

Hope everyone had a great Sunday and may this week be a week of blessings.

treehouse2.jpg tree house picture by spark56_photo

I hope those trees don't end up falling over in the water.  I do know a woman who goes to my old church that actually lived in a tree house.  They amaze me.  There are so many different kinds out there.  Can you imagine looking out and seeing the water, trees, and wildlife.  Would be an interesting life.  Hope everyone is doing great and has a good evening.
