Hey all, we are back. I appreciate your prayers so much. You are a great bunch of ladies! We did leave town and saw so much damage on the way south, it's surreal. So many have lost so much, more than 250 people in north Ala. killed, the stories are heartbreaking. At the same time, there are heartwarming stories of miracles of survival. We have got a lot to do here so please continue to pray for Ala.
I had my first ov ca chemo today. So far, doing ok. They had problems with my port, 3 sticks! They said I still had swelling.

I imagine it will be quite awhile before things are somewhat back to normal in Alabama! I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
I just saw on our news that they have confirmed that we had 3 (very weak by comparison) tornadoes here in NY from that same storm and we NEVER get tornadoes here.
Hope you continue to do well with chemo! How many treatments will you need?

o2bhealthy, YAY for you, the drinks and servers are wonderful, thanks for being the reason for this party! Is there any other thread she was active on, maybe we can check there? When I had to go back to Pa. for the funeral, she said "stay strong" and I used those words to strengthen my resolve so many times. Hope and pray she is OK.
