Val- one thing I forgot and your PS might be different but mine said not to lift anything more than 2 pounds (which is lighter than the BMX) so if you have milk or juice or whatever when you are staying alone seperate it so it is not the whole jug!

swest:  You have the Style 15 - 616 cc's.  There are a lot of women on these forums out there, very happy with their moderate plus profile silicones.  So as Peg stated, give it time and you will see some changes.  Do not lament not getting the 659 cc's.  Look at it this way, it would have been 2 millimeters wider, but with only 1 millimeter additional projection.  1 millimeter is 0.039370 of an inch.  Barely negligible.  Between this: - and _.  A flea ranges in size from 1 to 10 millimeters!   The naked eye would not even perceive this minute difference in projection.

True - 800 cc's would be way too much for you in a high profile implant.

    Just a little correction:

Jan is the one who has asked for prayer and good thoughts for her sister, who was undergoing a routine hospital procedure and something went terribly wrong.  Her sister is now in a medically induced coma.....Jan will update us....

Thanks again for all of your prayers for Sally, this was an outpatient surgery that after a week has turned into a nightmare.  This is when 1500 miles apart is far too many.

Swest,  I was disappointed in the lack of projection after the exchange, I still don't fill out to the end of one side of the cups, then again I don't have a nipple there either!  but have enough width.  I had the exchange on 6-15- and I did get some more projection and they dropped and look fuller. I am happier now than I was 4 weeks after surgery.  Be patient, your body has to adjust to the new tenants.  Now if you could just collect rent from themKiss.    Hugs,   Jan

I am new to this forum - I've been posting on the TS Pain forum since my bilatmx on 6/16 - I have one more fill (next week) and will then schedule my exchange for sometime in December. I am reading through the postings and don't understand most of what is being said.  My PS and I haven't discussed the type of implant - I know the size will be somewhere between 600 and 700ccs - I am inflated to 780 with the TEs now and they are HUGE.  I am not a small woman - not tall but not small around either.... Hmm makes me want to re-think saying too much about that.  My PS is matching the size of the implant to the size of my chest wall -he tells me I will be very happy with the implants - should I be asking more questions?? I was an A on the rt and B on the left - going for a matched set of C's....

Oh Laura, I just love you to pieces...thank you so so so much for your prayers and good thoughts.

I sure hope not, but I too was already in the planning stages of getting her whacked.  If she pre empted me I will be SO PI****ED OFF!!!!!!!!  Well, not whacked exactly, just restuffed and matching her sister.  You'd think she'd be happy for a little nick and tuck, wouldn't you.  I wasn't replacing the couch, just restuffing the cushions.  And getting some peace of mind.

I will update everybody tomorrow as to what BS says, but we all know the drill...poke, prod, move up the mammo to now, then get an ultrasound and/or biopsy if indicated.

Since I showed nothing in January via MRI on her, and BC doubles in 90 days, if something had gotten started after the MRI, it would not be a palpable size yet.  Yet these are very obvious.   I did not have node involvement, and I can't for the life of me see how this would happen, as I am on arimidex.  But I'm not stupid enough to not check it out.  It's the gift that keeps on "giving", hence the restuffing I am moving ahead with, OK or not OK>  Life is too short to put up with this anxiety over fibroids, that I do have and always have.  Apparently, they pop up more often after menopause and with caffeine use, which I admit I overindulge in badly.

I hope not to be a drag on here, but thank you to everyone for the good vibes, prayers and good wishes.  I hope to be back on here tomorrow, relieved, but I am still getting a mammo ASAP no matter what he says.  There will be no relief for me until I get a negative mammo on this.

Keep the prayers coming, I have gone straight to prayer over this.  Love you all to bits and pieces.

    xoxo

((((((Annie)))))) I, too, am sorry that you are feeling this fear, I understand because of the last couple of weeks for me.  Hugs, see your bs, get it checked out.  You will be fine, but the fear.......I'm sorry and like Laura...angry....that we continue to have to worry.  Prayers to you and you will be in all our hearts....please keep us posted and share your feelings as needed

Jan--I am so sorry about Sally, you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers as well.

Deborah--Yes, I had the Bear Claws in May, the hospital didn't use them in November.  I liked it because when I get nervous I get cold and the hospital is cold to begin with.  Very fashionable.

    Allison--Welcome.

    Hugs,

    Karen

Yes, with those Bair Paws gowns, when inflated with heated air, I felt like a puffy, bleached out Barney.

Allison:  Welcome to EC!  If you want to post your vital statistics [or PM them to me or to rockwellgirl] we could help you further.  Also, measure the circumference of your ribcage just below the bra line.  If you can get information on your TE's we can determine the size of your pockets created by the TE's.  They would most likely be Mentor or Allergan and the style number [133 ---  followed by two letters if Allergan] or type [if Mentor - low, moderate or full height] and # of cc's.  It sounds like you are into "overfill" right now with your TE's.  The implants with the volume you mentioned above will be smaller than the TE's.  Your PS is trying to stretch out your skin and create a pocket considerably larger than the implant for some "natural droop."

Annie....movement of the "area of concern" is a good thing...positive thoughts, prayers, positive thoughts, prayers, positive thoughts, prayers...

Deborah...you are such a gift! I will continue to compress as discussed...but socks in my sports bra?  Don't think there is any room for that...these girls are filling up an XL champion front zippity do dah sports bra with little room to breathe! So much so that I decided to wear them in the daytime and the vest to bed cuz the vest was too hot and the sports bra felt tight enough!  However since NYC is getting a blast of autumn weather this evening...that vest may just move back to my day wear ensemble to keep me warm in the daytime as well!

Welcome Alison...you will learn so much here...

Swest...our cheerleader...patience my friend!  The best is yet to come!

    God Bless!

Jan - praying for your sister and you.

Annie - prayers are coming your way, too.

Deborah - yes, I am getting the 800cc Mentors. Since, I am lacking in the cleavage area, I guess the moderate plus will help along with the pocket revisions and I really won't lose that much projection. I was just kind of suprised he suggested these since we have mainly been talking about high profile for months. I guess once he said 'drains' I just went over the edge and didn't want to hear anything else that was changing.

Today has just been one of those days. Just spent 3 hours in after hours care with my 8 year old son who fell face first into the gym floor. Luckily and thankfully, nothing is broken and he isn't going to lose any teeth - he's just going to have a lot of bruises and a great story to tell at school tomorrow.

I'm alive and kicking and have been doing more lurking than sharing lately.  I had heard of the "sandwich generation" but I am truly the bologna lately!!

I'm loving and spoiling my two new grandbabies and also my little granddaughter and I'm dealing with my dad going into permanent long term care very suddenly.  July was a total write-off and August wasn't much better but I have high hopes for September!!

It seems like ever since my mom was diagnosed with BC for the second time last September I have been hoping for a better month each time on calendar page is torn off.

Divine Jesus, you said "Ask and you shall receive, seek, and you shall find, knock, and it shall be opened unto you," behold me kneeling at your feet, filled with a lively faith, and confidence in the promises dictated by you Sacred Heart and pronounced by your adorable lips, I come to ask your favor; (I am praying for Sally to heal) To whom can I turn if not to you whose Heart is the source of all graces and merits? Where should I seek if not in the treasure which contains all the riches of your kindness and mercy? Where should I knock if not at the door through which God gives Himself to us and through which we go to God? I have recourse to You, Heart of Jesus. In You I find consolation when afflicted, protection when persecuted, strength when burdened with trials, and light in doubt and darkness.......Dear Jesus, I firmly believe that you can grant me the grace I implore, even though it should require a miracle. You have only to will it, and my prayer will be granted. I admit that I am most unworthy of your favors, but this is not a reason for me to be discouraged. You are the God of mercy. I beg of You, and your kind Heart will find in my miseries and weaknesses a reason for granting my prayers..............O Sacred Heart, whatever may be your decision with regard to my request, I will never stop adoring, loving, praising, and serving You. My Jesus, be pleased to accept this my act of perfect resignation to the decrees of Your adorable Heart which I sincerely desire may be fulfilled in and by me and all your creatures forever...............Sacred Heart of Jesus, I know that there is one thing impossible to You, to be without pity for those who are suffering and in distress. Look upon me, I beg of You, dear Jesus, and grant me the grace for which I humbly implore You through the Immaculate Heart of your most sorrowful Mother. You have entrusted me to her as her child, and her prayers are all powerful with you. Amen..........

Jan, this prayer is for your sister, Sally. Love, Celine
