Merilee - Lots of prayers going your way!!!

Girls - What kind of magnesium do you take? I have been using Natural Calm. It is powder and I can't stand it. I want to hurl every time I drink it. So I'm thinking I need a pill form. So please do tell what kind you take. Thanks.

MERILEE....Lots of white healing light your way!  I really believe they way we receive the infusion helps.  I called it "my magic juice" and embraced it killing bad cells.  Supplements and acupuncture increased went hand in hand with my magic juice and I did really well with all the cycles.  Keep us posted...... As he we were talking I noticed a big lump on his back near his shoulder. It feels like a big tumor. I am freaking out!!!Today is his dad's viewing then the funeral tomorrow. What next???

Oh, Patty ~  Hopefully, that lump is just a tight muscle due to stress.

And Happy Anniversary!  Maybe after the funeral you and DH can get a night or two away to get some much-needed R&R.   Big (((hugs))), and again, so sorry about your family's loss.   Deanna

Patty - have you tried any of the Natural Calm flavored ones?  I've tried both their unflavored and flavored ones and find the flavored ones easier to drink.

Patty ~ My husband had a lump on his back near his shoulder and it was just a big cyst.  Nasty? indeed!  Serious? not at all...  One thing at a time, and try not to worry.

    Merilee....healing white light at ya!

Patty: My husband has had 2 large lumps removed from his back. They are fatty cysts. Not sure what they're caused by but they're not dangerous in any way.

Patty: I know this is "easy" for us to say, but that lump will probably turn out to be nothing......

Patty, dear, both my husband and father have had cysts in almost the same area on the upper back. My father just left his alone but my husband had his removed by a dermatologist.

My mother also had a small cyst  on the back of her neck which she refused to have touched, claiming it was "too close to the spine."

I don't know whether this helps but the back seems like a common area for cysts and an unlikely area for tumors.

    Holding hands...

    Patty,

My father had a very large lipoma (benign fatty tumour) on his back near the neck.  They are fairly common and I have several small ones that I've had for more than a decade as well as one that came up immediately after the bilateral Mx over the ribs just beneath the operation site which gave me quite a fright.  I'm hoping my BS will biopsy it as there is a hard area in the middle with swelling around it.

    Here's the wikipedia link.

And this is a photo of a couple on a woman's back.

Sorry to hear about your FIL.

Patty...I work for a plastic surgeon. As Sheila said your husband's lump sounds like a lipoma. They are pretty common (I've had several removed) and 99.9 % benign but he'll most likely want to have it removed before it gets bigger and he definitely should have a doctor look at it to confirm what it is. My prayers go to you on the loss of your father.

Patty - I don't know of any other brands that taste any better.  Have you perhaps tried mixing it in juice instead of water or perhaps blending some fruit in it to mask the taste?

Hugs to you Merillee and Patty.

On the vitamin D issues. I use drops from a brand called Carlson. It seems to absorb pretty well because I got my numbers up over 100 with 6000iu a day, but it took months. I put it in my tea, so I am not sure about the heat affecting it. After all, once it goes into the body it is heated. I try to keep changing supplements, reading labels carefully for each new one I use. That way, I am not taking the same thing all the time. I think we need variety in everything. Even if it is the brand of Vit C we use.

    Patty,

I see what you mean. It seems that I will not hear what I want to hear. I want to hear that I can do it all naturally with no radiation and no chemo. At all.  I just talked with Cancer Treatment Centers of america and they told me that they do the traditional stuff but tha they use the natural stuff as a support.

    Ugh.

the trouble is that I do not believe in radiation and I do not believe in chemo. The benefits from these treatments is so teeny tiny that I just do not want to do those things to my body! I feel that after surgery I am "technically" cancer-free so to fill it with poisons at this point violates the "First do not harm" principle.

Ack! I am such a difficult person!

    Hi Ladies,

Are these Lipoma's painful and hard to the touch?

Gosh, seaotter, I am so sorry for your loss. My hubby has three or four of those big cyst things on his back: he just leaves them alone. No harm!

Has anyone gotten the Moss Report? It is at cancerdecisions.com

I think it is excellent. The good thing is that Dr. Moss (NOT A MEDICAL DOCTOR; a PhD in Classics, so he knows how to research and how to write)  reads all of the research and reports onit, he has no vested interest in any particular therapy. I am slowly plowing through it (500+ pages) and learning a lot. I can't retain it all though! so I think  ihave a brain full of mushy mixed-together statistics right now.

Regarding the Moss Reports: I ordered mine a while ago, and I agree, Susan144,  those reports are excellent. HUGE, but excellent, mine is more than 600 pages long (luckily, I printed it at the office Smile). I still have not even read every corner of it just yet.

From time to time, I also buy independent "segments" (such as the one I purchased a couple of months ago about reputable Alternative/Complementary/Integrative facilities in different areas, and you can enter your specifications to find those  facilities). By the way, the document I downloaded from Dr. Moss' site holds the Cancer Treatments Centers of America in high esteem......

Merilee, sending you hugs and healing thoughts!!

Patty, big hugs to you... I know how scary something like that is, but I'm sure everyone is right, that it will turn out to be nothing.

Jenny, I've had a lipoma on my arm for several years. WHOA -- I just now tried to feel it and it is GONE!!!!!! I posted a few days ago that it was getting smaller and software and it was hard to find now. Wow -- now it's completely disappeared!! (I'm sure the likes of thenewme would say this is coincidence and has absolutely nothing to do with all the healthy diet/lifestyle changes I've made! Wink) Anyway, mine wasn't painful at all. It was small and fairly firm, but not rock-hard or anything.

Guess I can add "lipoma" to the list of the many issues that a healthy diet/lifestyle have cured, in addition to insomnia, ADD, chronic exhaustion, excess pounds, acne, hair loss, etc. etc. etc... and, I am pinning my hopes on it keeping cancer at bay and curing my infertility, too.... QUICK, someone call the FDA, I'm making WILD CLAIMS about all the things a healthy diet and lifestyle can cure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
