I'll bet.  What is the difference about 8 hours different than your home?  The nice thing is that you don't lose much time when you fly back there.  Last trip I made, we left LA at 5:30 in the evening, and after one lay over in Oahu, arrived in Kauai at 10:30 that night.  Coming home, was more like leaving at 9:30 am, getting to LA at 9:30 at night.

It was close to 7 EPH 3-12 I get up at 5:00 and start work at 6 and besides, I need my beauty sleep.

We miss ya Sheila! It's freakin cold here in west Georgia.  I have to wear pants today. My poor mater plants nedd little sweaters.

Anyone making hot chocolate today. I'll make ginger snaps to go with.

Let's see-10 hrs ago, which is what it says is was when I'm reading Sheila's message no at 9:30AM would have been 11:30PM PDT, which would have made it either 8:30 or 9:30 PM in Hawaii-Yep I'm confused!  I think she's still sleeping right now tho; Shhhhhh

I agree it was really cold in Georgia - what weird weather we are having. Hot chocolate would have been wonderful this morning. My daughter got up this morning and went to make herself some oatmeal but was so sleepy she forgot to put water in the glass up and didn't realize it till she started to put in the oatmeal - unfortunantly it cracked the glass in several pieces - her favorite cup. Oh well....

Okay, night night my ladies. It's 7:50 here and I'm pooped. My tiny medical red wine is hitting the spot. Anyone else like a Merlot? I'll leave the bottle on the top shelf in the pantry next to the pretzels.

Merlot is nice, but tonight I think...Cab Sauv.  And perhaps some really dark chocolate!

This morning was in the 40s here in "Sunny" Ca!

MRDRN, don't eat all the red velvet cake.  It has no calories but we all want some.  And it's cold here too so hot chocolate will go down great.  Which first though, the Merlot or the Hot Chocolate?  Hmmmmmmmmm, choices, choices, choices!

Sleep well Ainm.  Night Paulding. Night Stanzie.  Keep partying seyla.  Night JO.  Night Joni.  Night Barb_k.  Night Meece.

Some of you are in sweet Dreams while the rest of you are up and sipping something.

    For me is Good Night

We figure out who is tucking who in couple of days.

    Hugs to All

No one said I could sleep through ther night, but I try to be in bed by 9 so I can attempt to get 8 hours in.  As the Summer sets in, and the weather is better, I don't even come indoors until 7:30 or later.  Then there is dinner grazing before bed.

I've actually slept through the night 3 times this week! Of course as soon as I mentioned this to DH I was up at 3:00 that night reading a book. I wonder if reading burns more calories than sleeping? I'll try and sneak in here this weekend. Got a ton of stuff going on and everyone is going to want to be on my laptop. We've got Relay for Life tomorrow, and the Limo ride/breakfast on Sat. then family time which means eating eating eating. My folks live in the hicks so when they come here just going to the grocery store is a big deal.

I'll be sure to leave some Greek olives and cheese out for you all. Don't drink the diet Mt. Dew, that's for DH, but help yourself to the apple cinnamon iced tea.

Oh yes I totally think reading burns at least twice as many calories especially when practiced inbetween snoozing. I've only had Mountain Dew once in my life and it kept me awake with a headache for three days so more power to your DH.

Yep, your DH can keep the m.dew.  Stanzie and I will pounce on the cinnamon iced tea - yum!

I can sleep only because I'm taking an advil pm every night to help me get some sleep despite my achy right hip/knee.  I do still get up 2-3 times a night for a bathroom run.

Sleep well Ainm.  Night Paulding.  Night MRDRN. Night Stanzie (or good evening since you are a nightbird). Night Barb-K.  Night Joni.  Night Meece.  Afternoon seyla.

I wish I was a normal sleeper especially since 6:30am come around awfully quick with the kids. I can take something like Advil PM but only when I know I don't have to get up as those things put me into a long sleep. I think in general meds hit me strong. So when I have the kids I have to try and be careful what I take.

     Goodnight All.....

I wish I could sleep normal, too.  I haven't been able to in years.  I can Take two Tylenol PM for a pretty descent sleep, but I can't on work nights or I could oversleep.  Rare, but possible.  I cannot sleep past my normal wake up time even on the weekends, when it would be okay.

Awww Ainm, sorry!  It is so frustrating not to have technology work smoothly.  I suffer greatly at using the computer for much more than word processing & looking at BCO, FB, etc.  Have a great weekend!

Joni, at least you can do FB.  I get so frustrated that I rarely go on there.

I will only take one Advil PM; 2 of them makes me sluggist the next day.

I think I will have some tea and relax for awhile.

Night all (yeah, you know who you are and I'm really lazy tonight)

My daughter has never gotten into the whole babysitting thing-I was a babysitting fiend!  had to get that whooping 50 cents an hour, no matter how many kids!!!

At least I made $1 and hour most of the time...no matter how many kids.  Except at church where I got $10 a service.

Now I just volunteer to get the opportunity to hug and rock little ones.  For the summer we are being placed in the crawlers, instead of the new walkers.  I love them all!

Welcome Weeze.  Sorry you had to join this club but glad you found it for the support it gives.

JO, think I read somewhere that Vit D does help with sleep, but not sure.  Hope your hip problem is only because of the long ride and will stop hurting now that you're back home.

Had a long day so wishing you all a good night.
