Well gang o' mine: I will be off the grid this weekend.  Going to Eugene, OR tonight to visit my sis & then tomorrow AM, taking my daughter to Willamette University in Salem, OR for a leadership conference.  She was chosen from her sophomore class to represent her school at the annual HOBY conference.  Fairly big honor & will look good on college aps.  While she's doing that all day, I'm traveling around to a couple small towns in the area that my paternal side of the family is from & visiting cemetaries to take photos of tombstones etc. to give to my dad, who is in mid-stage Alzheimers but remembers events, with clarity from years ago.  I think he will be able to appreciate them still.  See ya later-have a great weekend! Joni

PS Sheila, remember - there are weight restrictions on planes!  Ha ha, I love Hawaiian food!

You made me all laugh   hahahahahahaWink

DD and I we were walking on Waikiki area. They live only 2 miles away. Anyway I saw a GNC Store and a scale right by the door. Christine puts 2 quarters and the machine prints out she is 3 pounds underweight. Now its my turn right? wrong I told her no stupid scale will print out that Im overweight. Plus I only get on my own one. They are all different.

Im sure I gained some weight but Im happy. I will be on the wagon as soon as I come back.

    Good Night Ladies

    Big hugs to all.

Joni...On the season finale for AI I will be flying home. Its programmed in my DVR

Love the balloon picture - I just thought of another plus to having them tied to your ears - no need for earrings - it would cut down on the need for fashion assoceries. Wonder if it would make us float up to the ceiling like the laughing tea party in "Mary Poppins?" They didn't have to worry about calories at all - they laughed them off - Now that is how I would like to lose calories - laughing!

I actually had to stand on the luggage scale before a flight.  Luckily it was before I regained all the wieght I lost through chemo.  Because there were other people in line after me.

Why did you have to stand on it?

because the plane we were flying in was small and they wanted to make sure it was balanced.  It only held maybe 15 people.

Really Meece, that's weird.  I don't trust anyones scale but my own. Gotta weigh in on Thursday at doc. and it better show a loss. I'm pretty sure I can take on that skinny girl that weighs us in! She doesn't look that street smart. I'd pack my brass knuckles but that would only add weight to the scale. Actually I plan to wear flip flops, a thong, shorts and a tank top and no bra so not to add any extra weight to the scale. I'd wear a tube top but my port scar is pretty ugly. LOL Wouldn't that be a sight. May as well go to Wal-Mart if I'm gonna dress like that.

Paulding - that's hilarious!  I was @ my PCP & I've gained-I'm blaming the Femara-it's all in my gut too!  So the thong, shorts & tube top would definitely be a Wal-Mart worthy picture!

I read about a woman from your county who has had to have a mastectomy becus she was bitten on the boob by a brown recluse!  Talk about crazy stuff!  That would be horrendous.

    Night Ainm.

Evening everyone else.  Meece, I've been in one of those and never had to weigh.  I think they may have just eyeballed us and put half the overweight on each side.  It was a long time ago when I had trouble getting over 105 lbs.  Now I'd be in the overweight group!

And a good night as well as I'm getting ready to turn in early tonight.

Yeah that chick with the spider bit waited WAY to long to have it checked out. I thought everyone down here knew to get to a doctor when ever the suspect a spider bite. My dad almost died a few years back from being bitten by a black widow several times. CHECK YOUR GLOVES!  He spent 5 days in ICU because of this little spider. It took months to get his blood pressure back to normal.

Well good morning everyone! It's nice a breezy here today with a chance of afternoon showers. That means I don't have to water the garden. I made some carb. free coconut macaroons for you all. They are lovely and sitting next to the lazy susan in the kitchen. Help yourself.

Hi ladies!  I can remember the days I was trying to gain weight to reach 100 lbs. I weighed in at 113 with my first pregnancy. Kind of hard to find maternity clothes at that time for that small of a person. I wore my hubby's shirts.and strechey pants.

I don't believe all these goodies you are giving us are fat free I've gained to Much!

I did have a celebration at my onc. today . My last chemo cocktail. They had a small surprise celbration and gave me a card and plant. nice to have some special treatment.

Well the decadron and sleeping pills are hitting a medium so guess I better let the sleeping pill take over. Have a wonderful night.

Babr_K, Congrats on your last chemo!

The problem with your weight gain is that you have not been doing virtual exercise.  We should put in the fact that typing burns one calorie per letter on this thread.

AMEN Ladies !!!!! I love your exercise programs. But you are right. I am used to standing in a check stand a eight hrs a day, and bending and streching, I am kinkd of looking forward to going back but yet not. I miss my customers. I am going to be sure and not go back until after the 4th of July. The holiday would kill me . All the cases of beer and cokes, that people do not believe in leaving in their carts and letting us use the laser scanner. Oh !!! they have to pick it up any way. What about us that do this on almost every order for 8 hrs.  It's a work out on a regular day let alone a Holiday. Guess I;ll have to start my bending and streching. and get into shape. Oh!!! i forgot the nap. Have a great nidght.

Oh, for the chance to stay home.  I had surgery in Nov. and had it on Thursday and went back to work a week from Monday.  I would love a couple of days off right about now.  Come to think about it, I put in for next week off and it was denied because our month is closing.  But my Supervisor got four days off.  Guess she doesn't have to do her part of closing the books this month.  Insert sarcasm mark right here>

    Good nighty-nite!
