Good Morning All!!! I called in sick this morning. Just not myself. This is something I never do, but Mother Nature came back and I feel like junk. I plan to read, lay around and eat. Have a great day everyone.0

I'm going to Quizno's in an hour. Anyone need anything? (If you don't have one, Quizno's is a sandwich shop)

Mmmm a grilled sub. But no thank you. I am making a big pot o'spaghetti.

Thanks JOni, you can get me one torpedo or 3 sammies (or both!). But it's too late for me to eat more now so just leave it in the refrigerator and I'll get at them tomorrow.
Thanks for the cookies and cocoa Ainm - hit the spot.
A hearty 'good night' to each of you. (too tired; Ainm is right about all the names) We may have to switch to 'good morning' because we are too tired at night to name names.
But love you all. Night.

Boy i am so glad the food here has abbreviated calories as well. We'd be real roly-polys if they weren't.
Well good night, everyone. Sleep well.

Meece, the food has no calories if you eat it standing up and your feet are at least 2 inches off the floor (so the calories can fall out!). Of course, we'd all have to learn to levitate.
Night all.

If you eat it with a frilly toothpick, the ffrills suck the calories out of it, too!
Night Night.

(looking for a book on levitation, be back soon)

I'm so glad I came to this thread. I feel so silly when I ask what something means like TNS? But I guess thats how one learns.

Glad you found the thread, Laurie.
If you tie hellium balloons to your wrists does that count as levitation. No, can't be the wrists it would make my hand too far from my mouth, lemme think...

Ears perhaps?
0 -
Well what a festive party that would make with everyone floating around with colorful balloons tied to their ears - now that is a lovely way to lose all those unwanted calories and then you would never spill anything in your lap either.

I can just picture that. You made me laugh, Stanzie!

Here is our dinner table awaiting us. No calories for us tonight!
0 -
Well, other than that I dean, I cannot levitate. Does it mean you get half the calories, if you stand on one foot? Or how about sitting on a tall chair and dangling your feet? I am grasping at straws here.
0 -
Well Meece, how about standing on our heads then the calories could flow out the same way they came in.
0 -
That's an idea, although I find it hard to shallow upside down.

And I know that's a skill that left me approximately 50 years ago!

Weighing yourself correctly. Hahahahahahahahaaa
Thats what I need to do when I come back.
Good Night Ladies.

I ate a hamburger and fries for dinner last niht and my scale shows 2.5 pounds heavier. How can that be, when the meal didn't weigh more then a pound?

water retention, ya need to take a big ole wee wee. Instead of ELAB we should have named it PLAC

I am eating a spinach salad for lunch. 250 calories. The mini cupcake I ate at break is probably at least that many!

I am having DS over for dinner tonight and we are doing fondue. Am I stupid or what? I will just have to limit myself.

You ladies have me crying - too funny!
But I do like the idea of lying on my back with the scale atop my feet. Maybe that will get those numbers to go down.
Night all. (Welcome Laurie_R although would have loved to have met under differing circumstances).
