Sleep well, Ainm. PM - YAY!!!!! Meece, are you better? I'm having issues resulting from tetanus shot Tuesday evening. Started getting sick Thursday and still sick today with sore arm, still a big knot at needle site, fever, sluggisness, body aches - not fun. At least this should be the last one I will ever need in life! 10 more years I'll be too old to travel to third-world countries.
My tylenol pm is kicking in so will visit a couple more threads and then turn in.
Night my friends.

Good Morning!!
Ainm - Nach Inseoidh mé cé dhuine ar bith. Gáirim fós nuair I ainm a scríobh.
Yes, I am feeling much better. Yesterday was a long day. Up at 3 am, drive over two hours for th US, then we drove arounf Southern CA to do errands, back home at 8:00 pm.
Patoo, protocol here for tenanus is one every year, or if you get cut or punctured by something dirty. I never thought about it being related to third world countries. My brother has been allergic to tetantus Toxiod since he was little. He is a reall outdoorsy guy, so if he needs a TT shot, he has to have it over a long period of time, dripped in.

Tetanus shot arm is improving. Still have knot which is sore and warm to the touch but no longer have to take advil for the pain.
Meece, when I first got sick after the shot I googled reactions and there was a time when yearly shots were the norm but the protocol now seems to be every 10 years and, in my reading, they are wondering if we really need boosters at all (hence my decision to never again have one!).
Seyla, I will be going to Nicaragua on a church missions trip in a few months. Since we may be working on building or in areas where we could be prone to getting cuts/scratches, it was suggested that we get/update our tetanus shots.
Glad to see all my friends posting here again - had me worried! HUGS to all.

Everyone tends to get really busy this time of year. Looking forward to hot tea weather and a bed with lots of comforters tucked around me.

Now...Whose time zone patoo will be closer??????.
We have to start organizing our tuck ins. Winter is around the corner.
Good for you patoo for all the good work are doing for the less fortunate.
I knew a nun who used to go to Nicaragua and used to bring donations of clothing.
