Chrissy, does the time difference make for a boring "day" for you on these boards?

    Hi All,

Not long now before DS is home!!!  How is everyone doing - any news??  Was asked for photo ID in the bank today - showed my Drivers License which was taken 8 years ago when I was much heavier and my hair was so different - the girl was quite bemused - I was assuring her that I was still me!!!  She did accept it though but only after I told her that the changes were as a result of Breast Cancer.

    Night all - sweet dreams!!

Crissy, next time you post, put the time in.  That way we can figure out the time difference.

Okay, you are 16 1/2 hours ahead, if my calculations are correct.  When I plan calls with my DS in Japan, I figure add four hours and change time of day (if it's morning here, it's night there).

So if I subtract 7 1/2 hours, then that would be the time of day you are experiencing.  I am such a goof, making an ordeal of this.

Meece....you crack  me up!!!!  I don't see the neccessity to check the time...either we connect or we don't.....it's no biggy...either I wait or I don't.....eventually we cross paths so it's all good!!  You need to relax girl!

I am jsut having fun.  It is more important when I get the phone calls from DS.  More importantly, that he is aware of what time it is here when he calls.

meece...you really confused me now. Let see...

    NY 12:30 Am Thursday

    California  9:30 PM wednesday.

    Hawaii 6:30Pm Wednesday

Australia 1:30PM Thursday    (Dont know if Australia has different time zones like US>

Yes we do,    Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania are all half an hour ahead of South Australia and Northern Territory and Western Australia is an hour and a half behind South Australia.  When summer arrives it all changes as Queendland doesn't do Daylight Saving Time and all the other States do....talk about confusing!

    It's almost dark thirty here.

My DS moved from Hawaii to Arizona.  And I had to remember the time difference adding or taking away yet another hour.  Japan doesn't do DST either.

    Good Morning confused ladies....

I always thought money and language should have been international. One language and one money. I also wished for one religion so people wouldnt hate and kill each other.

I can wish its a free country rightWink

You have a nice day and in East Coast NY is exactly 11:00 AM thursday morning.

Hi all.  Been really busy so haven't been on the boards but you all have me totally confused with the times.  Don't know whether it's almost time to go to bed or if I just woke up LOL.

((Hugs)) hope it's only superficial bruising and soreness.

My DS left Okinawa Yesterday and flew to Hawaii.  I was so confused about what day was what for him.  I just told him to call me when he gets more info.

no x-ray or doc, I'm sure nothing's broken, I bounced pretty good! One advantage of fat I guess!   I'm just very sore on my left side (surgery side of course!)  I'm going to bed in just a few which is pretty early for me, but I'm wiped!

Joni..glad you are feeling little better. Do you have any bruising.

After my fall in JUne I was in a lot of pain they wanted to prescribe something with codeine in it. But I refused just took Advil as needed.

Just gone 11pm here and I'm heading to bed.

DS arrived home today - he brought home pretzel M & M's, Swedish fish (sweets) and the outer box from Lucky Charms!!! I cannot pretend that I understand him!!!!

Had my 3mth check up yesterday - the usual poke and prod session and 'see you in 3 mths - you can pay the receptionist on the way out'!!!!  Odd thing is on the journey home, on my 'good' side I started to ache just below my arm pit - the dr didn't hurt me while he was examining me but he does check for nodes and I wonder did he actually hurt me (delayed reaction) - quite painful all day today.

    Have a great weekend!!

Ainm, how do you like the Pretzel M&Ms.  I lioke the sweet and salty mix, although I prefer Flipz (chocolate covered pretzels).

Yes, sometimes I get the after pain from the node poking done at check-ups.  My onc has the tiniest pointiest little fingers!

Believe me, you'd like them.  But again, I'd rather have Flipz.  Give me a good old (well not really old) peanut M&M and I am happy.  Has anyone tried the coconut M&Ms?  They are okay...
