We have fireplace burning regulations here from the Air Quality Resources Board.  They tell you when you can burn a wood burning fireplace.  You have to call or log onto their website to see if you can have a fire on that day. New construction in homes can only have one woodburning fireplace per acre.  When we built ours in 2006, we opted for the gas log fireplace.  That way they couldn't tell us when to light it.  It doesn't have the aroma of a wood fire, but it doesn't get smokey either.  It still looks pretty.

Me too.  Won't go north except during the month of July.  Looking forward to retiring in a few - south.

Not feeling too well - everyone have a great evening.

Thanks Meece.  Will be alone this holiday with my son.  Family fractured into different places this time but it's okay because I could use the downtime.

    Hope all enjoy.

I am suffering from Fractured Family Syndrome as well.  Only one son will be with us.  Just enjoy what you have and relax.

JO, I don't think our 'younger' sisters here will recognize "Rest Home".  Stop revealing our age!  Laughing

Had a nice one, thank you, patoo.

Funny "rest home" comment.  What do they call them now?  Assisted living, senior citizen residence?

I do stretching which helps my joints feel better.  Now that I think about it, it has been awhile since my hands hurt.  That's pretty good!

Patoo - I was looking up abbreviations when I saw your post...what a great idea!!  I was looking these up - not sure if they should be on your list but I thought I'd throw them out there!

diep - deep inferior epigastric perforator
    RS - Recurrent Score
TRAM flap - Transverse Rectus Abdominis Myocutaneous flap

I also use this one lots: TCH - taxotere, carboplatin, herceptin

Total Abdominal Hysterectomy - Bilateral Salingo Oopherectomu

(uterus, cervix, tubes and ovaries removed)

May not relate directly to BC, but with BRCA+ or those with conditions exasberated by tamoxifen, some may choose this procedure.
