It is almost t-shirt weather here.  I went out and looked at my garden, watered a bit, then came in to play.  I have Beets, Carrots, Brusselsprouts, Radishes and Peas all sprouting from seeds, and my asparagus patch is starting to produce.  Yummy!

Brussel Sprouts every Xmas some vegetable stores they sell it in the branch. I find it so beautiful that one year I actually took pictures of my family and friends holding it. Of course they think Im a nut case, but I love nature, fresh fruit, vegetables from the garden. I have a little yard used to plant everything. one year I grew strawberries of course I only got 5 or 6. but I was satisfied.

My strawberry patch is in hibernation right now, but the plants I have in the greenhouse yeild all year round.  In fact, I just ate one this afternoon while I was watering.  I have't had much luck growing the Brussels sprouts, but thought I would try one more time.  There is a trick to when you pull off the bigger leaves, and when you cut the stem.  I might get it right this year.  Love 'em with hollandaise sauce over them.

Welcome artsymom - glad you can use it although we would have preferred it to be otherwise.

Hi Ainm - Hmmmmm, probably about bedtime for you now.

Hi Meece.  Hi Seyla.  Hi JO.  Enjoy your evening everyone.

Day's going okay.  Visited aunt in hospital (being released today - 82 yo w/pneumonia), went to gym and came and ate healthy lunch.  I was saying it was bedtime for Ainm who is in Ireland.

How are you today?  Very cold here - 19 deg.  May have to come spend the rest of the winter with you in CA.

We are all going to visit Meece.

We can sleep in her nursery and feel the warm sun.

Patoo it was 13deg at noon time. I'm only half an hour away from Manhattan. But lower Westchester is always 3 to 5 degree colder.

Meeeeeeeeeeeeece are you wearing a tea-shirt?

Yep, I wore a t-shirt and no sweater or jacket.  DH even made a comment about that.  It was about 62 when we got home this afternoon.  I wore a light jacket outside because we were messing with the fish and when my hands get wet, they get cold.
