Nancy, the link below (you have to copy and paste into your browser) is the Irish Blessing sung by the Air Force's traveling performance group....for many years they close with that.  May your father rest in peace and your family be comforted by the love of God and the Holy Trinity.

    SAS~always thinking of you.

Frank~be healed in God's everlasting love.

Redwolf~God's continued healing hands on your liver, until it disappears!

Barbie~you've got this, your God's baby girl let Him carry you through this last treatments, place your trust in Him and let the healing waters give you strength and courage.

Jesus it is in Your name that we come together on this board to praise You, to honor You, and to witness Your great mercy, power, and glory. In You we move, in You we breathe, we pour out our humble hearts and thank You for the gifts You have given to us, for the friends we have come to know, and for the very disease that brought us all together. We continue to marvel in Your miracles of healing, and for this we pray.

Betty once in the novena, you will be moved forwarded with each novena and will be notified by PM. If you want your intentions changed please, send it to the board or to me by PM. If there is a point in time that i'can't do it anymore, I'll notify another memeber. Michelle was my teacher on how to do this. Michelle has much on her plate, I have nothing. I feel it a privegle to organize the novenas and seek Michelle's advice.

Betty start reading from pg291 there are members that have changed names----read before the novena started----starting with mkkkjd60--mary-----theres were 4 interchnages between her and I, then a post by Sagina, the post by LearnToCook(name chnage). To me the group exchanges were significant. ALONG with the ST Peregrine novena, we had a paralle with Mother Theresa. All were dealing with a crisis of faith. You will see latter in the scenario, I saw a history channel of her life. All was happenstance that brought knowledge to our situation. I believe all was guided. Mother Theresa should be included in our prayers for those that suffer. A right place, at the right time, with the right knowledge. People that had a crisis in Faith and hurting b/c of other reasons. Guided.

    Good Morning Sisters and Brothers,

mmm5, Thank God for your good news, SAS and Theresa, your beautiful prayers, insightful and spot on.

    So a thought...

    a short while back,

I was rushing as per usual, and had gone over to my pharmacy and was waiting for them to find my scripts. I was upset, anxious, wondering how to get to MD for a re-write. So I sat down, and I saw a familiar scarf go by....my dear friend, relapsed withing 4 months of her last PET scan which showed her to be in complete remission.

I was so happy to see her, and sad and scared for her too. We got to spend time together, and when they did find my scripts :) I looked up again and saw a women from my treatment support group. Oh, how happy I was to see her! I almost hung up on my co-worker when I tossed my phone down to hug her.

The Pharmacist apologized profusely, and I told her,  "No problem, it was supposed to happen this way..."

and so is a recent theme in my life. My dear, newly retired/resigned boss, Nun extraordinaire tells me, There are no mistakes, things are happening this way for a reason, not only for her journey but for mine.

and she told me to listen....listen to what God wants for me next.

love to you all, have a blessed day, and I suspect, I may be back a little sooner this next time. :)

    Namaste

Back to work, tons of overtime, never ends......hope everyone is well, I just have zero time to be online anymore. Can't complain, I'm working and I so far have beaten cancer, so gotta look at the good side!

    Happy Birthday Barbie!

To mjjkd, Sagina and LearnToCook--- I shared our stories regarding  Mother Theresa, with my counselor. i had him read them from BCO.

He brought up last night, that he has used them for himself, and his other patients. Different ways not necessarily the way we directly talked , but he was very directed, that it made an impact on him.

He is a great communicator, plus an ex semiarian. He understands Catholism. He understands what we have all been through. What is beautiful about this is we have made an impact on anothers life. That persons based on our interchange have made an impact on others lives.

We have know idea what our interchange of words have impacted other lives. All because of an invitation, a hearing of a radio broadcast, a synopsis of those events.

WHAT I BELIEVE IS IT WAS GUIDED. We rae blessed

Thank you, mary, sagina, and ltc , you brought in the accumulation of thoughts something I also needed  sheila-Namaste

Oh my dear friend Sheila!  How I loved to see your post today!  I really needed it.  And you are so right - words are powerful and can change the course of things.  I also loved Squid's nun friend who says things happen for a reason!  Hence why we are all here!!  Please continue to pray for my mom everyone - stage iv bc, mets to liver.  She has progressed again on the recent chemo and was now put on Halevan, a new chemo.  Pray for remission, pray for clarity!  Thank you friends, Mary

    Hi all,

If I could ask for a brief prayer for my grandfather......my grandmother just passed away yesterday. She would have been 100 in Feb. My grandpa turns 99 next month. They would have been married 78 years this Wednesday. Her funeral Mass is Tues 9/11 of all days....wish they would have had it the next day on their anniversary. But not my decision to make.

I already know my grandmother is in heaven. She was a saint, but also tough, opinionated, we fought lke crazy through my 20s....and I'm now just like her. She taught me a work ethic that doesn't exist in the world today, sadly. She was healthy as all get out, and the docs said she could live another 5 years, same as my grandpa. She was sitting in a chair and the next time someone came in to talk to her, she was gone. Even though she was almost 100, I'm still in shock. They both are hardly on any meds, get around fine....just blew me away.

My grandpa is the one I ask prayers for b/c I'm sure he may go soon. He won't let them bury her until he passes away so that they can be buried together at the same time. We had a big shindig for their 70th anniversary and a smaller one for the 75th, but they had a half page write up in their local paper and they were quite the local celebs for a time :-) I just ask for prayers that he gets through the funeral Mass Tuesday and that if he's ready to go now (he always told me he prayed every night that Grandma would go first so he wouldn't worry about who was taking care of her if he died first), he can go, too.

Thanks everyone - I really appreciate it.

    And on bended knee,

I believe in the goodness of Man,

Made in the likeness of our Almighty Father,

May we accept what He has given us,

May we believe that He holds use in His cloak,

May we not wander from His sight,

May we be guided by His word.

May the joy of knowing Him always be in our hearts,

May we, by the living of our lives, draw others to His side,

When we die may each of us be brought home to Him

    Amen
