Shoveled snow Friday. We didn’t get a lot but still needed to clear the sidewalk.

Sat was errand day. Went to the gym then shopped and cooked. Made meatballs and pulled pork for the freezer, and chicken salad to take to MIL’s. (So easy: 2c rotisserie chicken cut into 1” pieces, 1/2 c each halved grapes, dried cranberries & minced celery. Dressing is two parts mayo to one part sour cream, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, and S&P to taste.) It’s one of her favorites. DH not feeling well so I went to Sun Prairie myself on Sunday. Brought some of the frozen foods plus boxes of GS cookies. Cooked chicken dinner for the fam and got to meet my great-nephew who just turned one. What a cutie! 🥰

TT, here's a funny story; when it started being a 'thing' to get 10,000 steps a day, our middle school did a fitness challenge. We all got these counters & each House vied against each other to get the most points. A group of teachers were eating lunch together & talking about their progress when the plump little choir director (who did not work out at all), said that she didn't understand the fuss, she ALWAYS got more than 10,000 steps; in fact she had more than 10,000 steps & it was noon. On future review, it was all the waving her arms around when she was directing her choirs! 😄

I did not exercise yesterday (or direct any choirs either). Today will be Zumba & HIT.

Worked, got a haircut, then hit the gym. Pulled some homemade chicken soup out of the freezer for supper. DH ate two bowls after barely eating for the past couple days. Signed up for a St. Paddy’s Day 5K fun run/walk. ☘️

    Hi everyone,

I can’t believe my last post here was in 2023! I spent some time reading and catching up and it felt like reconnecting with old friends.

So good to see those who consistently kept the thread going and those who have checked in to update here and there.

Congratulations on new grandchildren and to those persevering through injuries and illness,

Sending peace to those who experienced a loss of loved ones.

Any news on Karen and how the wedding went?

    How about Natsfan?

Great to hear from you, Ginger!

Karen hasn't checked in since the wedding, but I hope she will. I would love to get an update!

I keep in touch with Natsfan. She & her DH are presently on a Mediterranean Cruise!

I went to LIFT this morning & will go back to CORE. Bruno got his nails trimmed & we went on a little walk after that; which was not fun because it's so icy!

HI Ginger, great to see you checking in.

I got to the gym Sun/Mon/Tuesday…woohoo.

I had forgotten about Karen's wedding, her dress was great, hope we get an update.

While I usually watch the SOTU, the forecasted 2hr speech is too much for me with the early start of school tomorrow morning…I'll get the cliff notes tomorrow.😀

Hi Ginger!! Good to hear from you!

I watched our Governor give the state of the state address so guess I will watch the Prez give the state of the union address.

Got to the gym this afternoon and got home before the sleet started. Ugh. Come on Spring!

I skipped the SOTU, did the dishes, cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed and folded laundry.

Here's the WWW picture. One of our founding members, a lovely lady, died at Christmas. One of her talents was to repurpose wool sweaters into unique mittens & gift them to friends. Her birthday was yesterday, so we wore her mittens in commemoration.

What a nice way to recycle sweaters…and for the group to remember her by.

I'll get to the gym after school which makes 4 times this week…but only 11 times for the month, ugh.

February is the cruelest month 😉

It's a beautiful day here! I went to HIT, did a bunch of errands, had lunch with a friend, found a baby gift for my niece (who is due any day), &:took a walk with Bruno & DH. I will go to Dance2fit tonight.
