    Hi Kindergarten! Welcome.

25 minutes of hooping today. I'm still pretty wiped out from the two days of Cheryl's regular classes. Those gym bunnies are much fitter than me. :-)

I went to the frozen shoulder clinical study today. They took my information, blood, urine, EKG, x-rays. Tomorrow I go for MRI to rule out rotator cuff injury, then if all is approved I will get to schedule my first injection. I got to meet a woman who was in for her follow-up. She had bruising all over her upper arm, but had regained almost full ROM after one injection. I'm really hoping I get the medication as opposed to placebo and it works for me.

Oh, and in BC news, I learned my breast MRI was clear. So in 10 days I will celebrate my two year surviversary.

The California Dreaming ladies are all looking wonderful! Keep the pictures coming!!

My knees swelled up like grapefruits after my exercise a few days ago, so I only walked 15 minutes the past few days. I guess I've got to ease into the exercise. You all make me want to run!!

Welcome to all who are new following California Dreaming!  Wonderful photos and I see Mary made it to SF.  Welcome back Red and wondered where you were. Ann, I too hope you get the real injection and relief, Anne, good that you are feeling better and back at running, Pat you sound busy and Oldie you as well.

Yesterday morning, went to body balance and then had a meet up with the pink pilates women for the fundraiser we are working on. Our tickets are selling for the "Wellbeing" day we have planned and myself and another are in charge of the lunch and snacks. I'm resisting overworking this. Tried to go for a run at noon and when I got the end of the driveway, a ice pick stabbing pain in my left knee could be felt. Turned back around at the bottom of the drive and of course consulted the 'all knowing'; the internet. Anterior knee pain is probably the most common injury that runners get. Nailed it to Ilio-Tibial Band (ITB) dysfunction and some stretching will help. Got to yoga later in the afternoon and that helped too.

Off to get our son tot he train and then the gym for power step and body balance.

LB - yikes on the knee issues!  Slow stretching sounds like a good plan, plus resting it for a bit. Your pink Pilates program has really taken off - you should be proud. Mum into and Red, good to see you back. Ann - exciting to be in the trial. It may help you, but you're also doing your part to help others. Anne - glad you're doing better.

Yep, met up with the California Dreamers - what fun. We had a great dinner last night at Johnny Foley's, an Irish pub. Enjoyed some SF garlic fries there and a pint or two, then hit a gourmet cupcake place for dessert. I'm still on East Coast time so I was up a little after 5 this morning, so I headed down to the hotel fitness center and did a half hour run on the treadmill. (Had to work off those garlic fries and Smithwick's ale.). Alcatraz on the schedule for this morning, then a bus tour this afternoon. Meeting a bunch of BCO gals for dinner tonight.

Odie & Wonderland - we miss you here! And the weather is a lot cooler than it was when everyone met up in DC last year. Winking

I wondered what hooping was -- fun.  The CA girls are having so much fun.  That's just great!  LiliacBlue that knee sounds painful.  Hope the yoga stretches helps.  Hour of yoga for me yesterday.   Running and yoga for me today.   I may try to find my kids hula hoop too.

San Francisco is the best city and keep putting up photos; they are great! Mary, the fundraiser is a group effort and thanks for the kudos. ms_mes I'm thinking of hooping too. Thanks for the knee concern and have an appointment on Tuesday to see a chiropractor who also uses the mckenzie method.  Hopefully, he can get it worked out.  I'm ok, can do yoga, gym stuff, it's the niggling pain on running.  SlowDeepBreaths, what is the problem with your knees, if I may ask?

This morning power step and body balance at the gym.

Lilac, I've got RA. Although I haven't had to have them drained in over 12 years, it's something I'm very used to when fluid builds up. It's really no big deal. The exercise bike probably wasn't my best choice of exercise. Good luck with the chiropractor - I hope the treatment works well for you!!

Welcome to all the new friends and welcome back Red.

Lilacblue and Slow, hope your knees feel better soon. Ann, fingers crossed that you are getting the meds so your shoulder will get better.

Went to bootcamp tonight for a great workout.

California Dreamers, you're looking good! Must be chilly up there as you all broke out the sweatshirts.

Played with super mini hoops tonight. It sure made normal size hoops feel good.

Had my shoulder MRI today. Had to hold a really painful position for 20 minutes. I nearly used the bail-out signal. Ouch! This was the last qualifier for the study so I should find out soon whether I get accepted.

Hi Girls!  The funniest thing of all about last night was when we decided to take one last picture before we left.  All of us hurried into position, gathered around...only to realize after sitting there for a minute or so that NO ONE WAS TAKING A PICTURE.  We'd forgotten, in our enthusiasm, to designate a photographer.  Once we realized that, none of us could stop laughing.  Then, on our way out, two silver fox guys said..."You all sound like you are having fun...you should sit down and have a drink with us!"  Yup, no denying the Sculpted Ones are quite the attraction!  I had to leave early this morning and miss today's fun, but I can assure you NOTHING is like meeting each other in person.  We are a lucky bunch of women!  xo to all of you! Kim  OH and PS, Patoo had to remind me that 50 dollars divided among 7 women is more than 7 women times 6 dollars....this was regarding transportation costs.  And I'm not blaming the wine, I'm blaming....ARIMIDEX Happy

Now they're pickin up men.  We can't let you girls out of our sight!

I did my usual garden and sculpt, which sounds better than lawn-mowing and sculpt.  Lawn-mowing and weeding, about an hour and a half today.

    Thanks everyone for the welcome..

Smile@Twohobbies..it's 'betty loves trees' lol.   Ruthbru and Wonderland nice to meet you and that goes for all the lovelies here.

Today I walked my dog....if I don't he destroys the house so it's something I do on auto pilot lol.. I also did an hour of step aerobic at home..well it was actually 50 mins but I rounded it to the hour. My daughter needed my attention this morning so I finished my work-out earlier than  usual...I only workout one day on one day off...it's the only way I can stick with my routine ....

@Odie16..I had a bit of a giggle when I read "Night my sculpted sisters".....no matter how much exercise I do my bits still jiggle like jelly.. What I'd do to be a 'sculpted sister'..haha..Nite:):):)

PLS NOTE: I changed my name to Betty14...just easier....not so long:)
