I need a new phone, so that could be part of the problem too (trying to hold out until the contract comes up). I don't have any problem posting pictures to Facebook or sending them to my Picasa account. Hmmmm....I will fiddle with it a little more and then I will show it to my IT son who will no doubt have it figured out in 4 seconds or less!

It's your phone, I bet Ruth. After one of the infamous "updates" on bco, I can no longer post messages or photos from my phone. Mods say it's because my phone is outdated....but, since it actually works quite well as a phone....I'm not going to be changing things for the time being.

I've not been posting daily, I just realized, but have been keeping up with the yoga at home, run/walks and went for a hike today.

Enjoy the get together in Cali....TGIF everyone....the weekend is here!

Ice cream in a donut? Yum!

Uphill hike today. Had to drive to the back side of the peak to avoid the closed trails. Part of my favorite trail survived. It's a piece with native scrub so high it forms an archway over the trail. Not far beyond that is all black scorched landscape. It is sad but I look forward to seeing the little bits of green return.

I got a call about the clinical study for frozen shoulder. I am going to try to do it. Hopefully I don't have some condition that will disqualify me. It's a phase 3 trial of the drug Xiaflex. So you get three injections and do home exercises. Of course, I may get placebo injections. Either way I'll be happy to contribute to a possible treatment for this heinous affliction.

Looks like the fun is set to begin. Great photo.

Exercise today consisted of cleaning out the basement and hauling stone dust around to the pool area.

Tomorrow's exercise will be strawberry picking at a local farm and likely more dust moving.

Did my lawn mowing/digging weeds workout today.  About 2 hours.  It was hot and humid today so I thoughts I'd work this afternoon in the shade garden but I got bit by my first mosquito so I was done.  I'm going to take a shower and head to the grocery store.

Calidreaming girls, looks like you're having fun!

Suspect the California crowd are painting the town!  I got in a nice ride today....35 miles.  They have opened a Farm to Table place in Carnation WA so had some fab quiche and fresh greens salad there.  I am so psyched to have this just down the road.  It will be fun planning those rides around a nice lunch.  Funny is that they have planted tomatoes and peppers along the perimeter of the outdoor space, as they will love the heat.  Place is a converted old gas station so plenty of cool vibe.

Weather is glorious here and so enjoyed the sunshine.  I saw a mother horse and her little one, but since I seem to have lost my memory card when I dropped my cell phone yesterday, I couldn't get a photo.  But a very sweet baby.

More later.  Those fresh shitake mushrooms are very pungent so smells like a truffle factory around here.  Risotto on the menu for tonight.  Plus some more fresh peas.

Forgot to mention all the amazing scents along my ride.  Roses and honeysuckle.  Freshly cut hay.  Blackberries in flower.  Also woodlands.  And all the mature grasses and alfalfa.  So fragrant.

Not quite ready for the week, and yes, I do need a full day off SOON. - Claire

Woo-hoo, welcome to California Badger, Sweet, and Ruth! I'm getting up at 6 to pack a couple outfits and head up there. I thought I'd bring hoops just in case anyone wants to try it? See you tomorrow morning. Aiming to arrive at Cheryl's at 9:30-10:00.

Exercise today was an hour of hooping at the beach (sunburned, ouch!) followed by yardwork. I dug a hole, pruned, moved some good sized rocks around, and attacked the lines of grass growing through the driveway.

Great pictures of the California Dreamin' group!  I'm meeting them in SF this Thursday - can't wait!

Saturday's exercise was Yard Work & Sculpt (lots of upper body work!), then yesterday I got out early and ran 3 miles.  After that, we went to the Nationals game, getting off the Metro 2 miles away (saves changing lines).  So we had a 4 mile round trip "Nats Walk" between the Metro and the ballpark. Plus it's a bit of a walk up to our 3rd deck seats.  By the end of the day, I'd done 21,000+ steps!  I'm considering all of this as good training for sightseeing in SF - I've traveled with these gals before, and they want to see it all and do it all!  They're like Energizer Bunnies - they don't stop!!  Winking

Great photos ladies!  Looks like you are having a wonderful time.

Saturday morning my husband suggests a hike, so we did 3 miles in a hilly undeveloped area behind our neighborhood.  Great way to begin the weekend.  Then I took off for a shop til you drop day, looking for wedding shoes, bathing suit (no luck there), and some new summer tops. Training tonight after work with Mike :)

Because this is an exercise thread we though we'd better do some, so Badger, Ruth and I took the dog down to dog beach this morning and walked. Poor Sweet is not well so she stayed home and had a lie in.
