Just checking in. Went away for the long weekend--so nice to be around people who did not know I have/had cancer, even if just for a few days. Have first appointment with RO on Monday and LE physical therapist on Friday. Hugs to all!

It is wonderful to be "yourself" instead of the cancer patient.  Glad you had a chance to get away, Teal3Pink1.

hi raeinz, sheila, jaysmom .. having gone through all the posts in the previous pages. I was little occupied with my office job  as  our financial year ending  is approaching I have to push hard to complete it. But I could not get through  with you all  at the right time. Still now my time  and your time  is not getting . I am posting  this after a gap of 11 hours. Anyways nice too see  all the posts. You all might be  busy  with your daily core.  I am completely O.K. as I feel besides minor problems which I rather assume normal. I have stop taking arimidex  and I am anxiously waiting  to have  a figure change after arimidex. My next mammogram  will be in July,2011.. I will come to know about the latest result after that. God is there .. I leave everything in His hand as we cant make life. I have no worry but  am enjoying  with things happening in the thread. But sorry , I cant share anything  in medical terms as I am not that much  familiar like you all. I post only what I experience through with my own.

Hi raj....Nice to see you sister.

I have a question for you. I'm stopping the Femara in 2 weeks.

When you stopped Arimidex did you have any withdrawal symptoms/ I asked my Oncologist he said no.

But i rather hear from someone who actually stopped it.

Figure change is something to look forward especially my middle part.

You know what you have been DX 13 days before me. What a coincidence.

    HUGS♥

    Thanks Meece and AnneteK!

AnnetteK: Totally love the jumping goat! Super cute! So glad you found the picture Sheila! That's exactly what I want to do when I am done with rads!

Hmmm.  The Hyper Goats...sounds like a garage band.

I had my appt w/RO today. It feels like everything is moving in slow motion now. After several weeks of whirlwind tests, procedures, appointments and second opinions, it feels like it it taking for ever to get started! My RO has chosen 3 weeks of WBR in the prone position and a week of boosts. Simulation will be on 3/16 and then things will get started a week to 10 days after that. Sigh!

Teal - That is the bad part about rads.  Things move so slow at the beginning but once you start, you will be finished before you know it. We are all so anxious to get started and be done with it.  Hang on - you will get there.

Sheila - Here I am.  Been outside enjoying the sunshine and working my butt off.  Been having some toe pains since starting Tamox.  Saw my onc today.  Gave me Lyrica in hopes it helps the pains.

Where have you been? We do keep missing each other.

jo..i wasn't feeling good. Achy bones and bad heartburn.

I feel little better today but tired. Couch potatoWink

I'm not having anxiety attacks because i was just with my oncologist so it cant be BC related.

Are your toes achy or painful/

Raeinnz - sorry for the delay in answereing.  I don't know except that the article listed this as a more common radiation proptocol in Canada than n the US.  I found the article on Living Beyond Breast Cancer and my RO agreed that the study is valid.

Sheila - A little of both.  The calves are achy like I over exercised them.  Everything makes me feel like I am 90 instead of 55.  Going to take a Lyrica and see if I can get some sleep.

Glad you are feeling better.  Heartburn and body aches really suck

    Good Night Ladies
