Robalou: Thanks for that, it helps! My PS believes that Ibprofen is the best med for the pain. I really havent gotten to much info from her regarding the type and style of silcone she plans to put in. I am so sick and tired of these TEs.. (haha.. prego TEs), it hurts and under my arms are hurting from them being so wide. You are up to 350ccs?? How far are you going to go? I plan to go one more time up another 40ccs and be done with it. She plans on the size 270cc (size . Is it over yet....

Chill...thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and helping me decide. I did go on the see picture site tonight and check out your pictures. WOW...you look amazing. I love the style 20's on you and we are so similar in size that I would be thrilled to be your twin!!! Thank you again for your help!

jennifer: You have done your homework. Yes, you would need at least 600 ccs if you go with the Style 45s. There is nothing wrong with the width of your TEs. They have migrated laterally, displaced laterally. They need to be brought in closer medially and lateral capsulorrhaphies need to be performed to make sure they do not migrate back to the armpits after the exchange. I think that the Style 45s are a good option, but as Cindy explained, they do have an entirely different appearance. If you are focused on projection - and that is your desire, then perhaps the Style 45s would work for you. I would not consider letting him narrow your pockets. You will be happy with the width when the placement is corrected. You could even go up to 550 ccs in Style 20, which would still be fine [I have the Style 20 550s and I am 5'4, 124, with a 30" ribcage.] I just feel you should stick with the Style 20s.

Deborah, I don't know how you keep up with it day after day. Such a sobering thing - just when one of us moves through a stage of this process at least one more woman comes along, like a never-ending stream. All of us going through the same thing, yet each of our stories a little different. Some of us on the right path and just needing a bit of reassurance, some totally floundering because of mediocre or downright poor medical care. You've made many women's paths much smoother simply by helping them ask the right questions.
Thanks for everything!!!

Thanks everyone! Thank you, TinaT, for the link and thank you, whippetmom, for the advice. Whippetmom, what is the reasoning for going up to 325ccs in the implants over the TE's? Projection? Rippling? Thanks again!

Just want to echo want TinaT said about whippetmom. It's scary to think the path I would have gone done without her guidance. What a real godsend she is! Thank you for all that you do for so so so many women.

B123:
350cc is it for me. My exchange is on the 23rd. YAY! Hahahahahaha. I love the Prego TE's! Through Deborah's advise, I am getting style 20's anywhere from 425-500ccs. Whatever my PS can fit in.
Can anyone tell me how to find a specific persons postings and pictures on the picture site. I have read so many women's stories here on BCO and want to see thier results but can't figure out how to narrow it down and find a specific set of pics. If any one can PM me that info I would be most greatfull.

Lago:
Thanks for your help with the picture site. You look great! So helpful as we have the same body type.
I have questions about FG. I'm wondering how the other areas, the donor sites, feel after the lipo and if anyone has any tips on how to prepare, wht's the recovery for it is, etc. My PS is doing FG at the same time as my Exchange.

sweetbean: Your TEs are 11.0 cm wide and have a projection of 5.9 cm. Allergan Style 20s in 300 ccs are: 10.9 cm wide by 4.5 cm projection. Style 20 325 ccs are: 11.2 cm wide by 4.6 cm projection. I just think that you could use the two centimeters of width.

rubalou: Look at Val61, Chill, Cameron - all with your build and with Style 20s - 425 ccs to 500 ccs.

Hi Whippetmom. We all love you so much! I did check out Cameron and Chill - I will be sooo happy to look like they do. I'll take a look at Val61 too.
Hillck/Chill - Thanks for the input on the IMF folds. Love the comment on the PS liking it when we compliment them - lol!
I love these boards. Women should get a card when they get diagnosed that tells them to come here!

Wow, whippetmom, thank you so much!

How do we get to the pictures? I'd like to see some of the reconstruction to have an idea of what to expect...

rubalou, Supersally had exchange done through IMF I believe

TonLee: Contact Lilah, Estepp, Dawne-Hope or Timtam and one of them will send you the pictures forum info.

Well I had my exchange surgery Dec. 16th and I'm not liking these implants. I don't know if they aren't big enough for the amount of skin (I had skin sparing mastectomy) or if I have too much skin. They move up and down when I flex my chest muscle (like a body builder). They are not round, they look like the hamburger bun boobs I had with the TE's. I was a D cup and now I'm a small C which I might be okay with if they were shaped like boobs!
I don't think they are going to "drop and fluff" either. P.S. said he doesn't see that much with reconstruction, more so with augmentation. I have a feeling he doesn't do much reconstruction.
My PS is no wealth of information either. Still don't have the card that tells me what size, style or anything (I go back the end of this month). I'm really fed up with him and want to start searching for another PS.
After all this I wanted at least to have nice, firm round boobs that didn't require a bra all the time. I'm very disappointed.
Denise
P.S. - Have never been able to get to the photo site even after TimTam gave me the instructions. I'm brain dead sometimes.

chiluvr: I am going to PM you my email address because you are going to need to send me photos. But Monday, you need to call your PS and find out exactly what style and volume implants he used. Referable to experiencing the animated pectorals on flexing - this is something nearly all of us experience after breast reconstruction with implants under the pectoral musculature.

chiluvr1228 I too was a little disappointed after my exchange but things did round out and dropped a little. I still needed a revision since lefty was a little low but overall I look pretty damn good now. Revisions are not unusual because this isn't a perfect science. I think whippetmom can tell you by looking at your photos if you have a serious issue or you just need some time for the buns to fluff and drop. Don't panic. You would be amazed how they can fix things up. Not sure how many of us got this right on the first try/ exchange but many of us needed a revision, even an exchange for bigger implants.0

So I just heard from my PS again. She said that they would be silicone, Style 20, which is what whippetmom recommended. She also said that the implants would have fewer cc's than I have now, but she couldn't tell me the exact number because she wasn't in the office. I am now officially a bit worried, because I thought that I was filled to 300cc's. I don't think that I will be happy going smaller than that. However, she will be in the office Wednesday, so when she gets the actual numbers, then I can really question her. Since I had rads, I would like to reduce the potential for revisions, if at all possible. Whippetmom, do you have advice on how to handle this?

Sweetbean,
I am watching your post because after reading so many posts here I'm wondering the same sort of questions. I don't want to be smaller, but I'm not sure 400ccs is enough for a D cup on the MX side (skin sparing).
Please keep us posted.

TonLee I'm wearing a 34 D and once in a while a 34C but they are usually a bit skimpy. I have allergen style 15 397cc. It really depends on your body. I think if you are thin and boney on top (like me) you don't need as high a cc as someone who has some meat on them.
I'm amazed how the same cc's can look so different on different women.

I am 400/450 in the Allergan 20's and I am a 34C bra, look like a full B in clothing (and I am not a big girl...5' 1" and 112lbs). My original implants at 350/375cc were a B bra. Pics on picture site.
Lago--it would be interesting to hear how many of us got a "do-over" on the implants...didn't really have that built into my mental timeline, but so far I am very glad I did the revision.

Lago: You just asnwered my question and I didn't even have to ask. I was wondering what size bra you were wearing as we are so close in build and size. I've been looking at the Bra's 101 thread and also have been on line checking out the bras. It seems like they replace the shoe fetish once you've had your 'girls' messed with from BC!
I put a call in Friday to ask my PS about garments for post exchange. Since I'm having FG like you did I'm expecting to be sore and bruised from knees to armpits. I have managed to put on about 4 lbs but now feel like that's enough and hopefully he'll be happy with the fat available. :-)
Do you have any recomendations for post surgery garmets for the ta-ta's and the rest of me?

Thanks Lago. I think you and I are similar on top (both had juvy ports etc)...I'd just hate to go smaller because I'm happy with my healthy side which is 32-34 D. When I put on a D cup pushup bra they look pretty proportional...my TE is pretty high and goes up under my arm a bit. The PS here doing my fills refuses to put in any more saline...she said my incision is getting thin...(remember it was open wound for like 9 months!)
I'm getting gummy bear implants by Mentor, but you know...I never asked what type! And he's in Texas, my records are here, so I don't know.........I think no matter what my rads side will always be a bit higher...but I'm ok with that....I just want to be able to wear a v-neck and not have it shift to the left all the time....I love wearing a comfortable bra...even underwire....I sleep in them! So a little crooked booby will be ok with me....lol
Can't wait to see the pics!

sweetbean: Print out the dimensions of your TEs and the dimensions of the implants. If she is using Style 20, she at least needs to use implants with the same or greater width than the TEs.
Style 133 MX-300s - right?

TonLee I was tiny before. I was barely a 34B. Take a look at my before pictures and you'll see I hardly had anything. Remember I didn't have rads and had good skin. With rads there might be some limits as to how much he can stretch. Remember you can always wear a padded push up bra… that's what I had to do with my old barely there 34Bs.
rubalou your PS should tell you what garments he want's you to wear. I was given a very loose barely there bra but many PS want more compression. I did wear spanx like garment for the areas that were fat grafter per my PS recomendation.

Whippetmom, yes, my expanders are Natrelle 133MX. We are not actually certain of the cc's - we think it was 300, but she won't know until she looks at her records on Wednesday. I know that I got two fills with 90cc's each. I was also filled more than usual during my BMX - someone said it was at least 100cc's, maybe more. I definitely woke up with breasts, which was nice. I know that I like the size of my left breast - the right one shrank a bit from rads and I would like her to be able to even me out. The difference isn't that huge, but I notice it. She said she is going to clear out scar tissue (a capuslatomy, capsulectomy? - something like that), fix the pockets, etc.
Currently, my TE's are really set pointing out, so she is going to reposition them in towards the middle a bit. (Apparently, and I have a picture to prove it, the originals kind of faced out. I took a picture of my originals the night before my BMX, so I wouldn't forget what they looked like.)
So I will wait until Wednesday to get the actual numbers and then I will post. I will definitely be clear on my desired result/size before I have the surgery. No sense hoping for the best and then being disappointed. I'll make it clear that I like the current size and I don't want to be smaller. Hopefully, she will be cool.
On one hand, my TE's look great and she has done an awesome job thus far. On the other hand, I am worried that her asthetic is for smaller breasts than I want.
Thanks, whippetmom! You're a rock star!
