    OMG, the shoes!!!! Did I tell you that "shoes" is an off-limits topic between me and my family? I have a soapbox about shoes and keeping podiatrists in business .... luckily I have recently found some shoes that actually LOOK pretty good AND FEEL good .... but I do enjoy seeing all the wild ones that people really DO wear!!! My DS just LOVES pretty shoes, so the two of us can get pretty vociferous about the topic, hence the ban on shoes conversations in my family ... Winking

    Linda..........I have a son who loves pretty shoes too............he buys his wife the most beautiful shoes..........when we were in Chicago for my grandsons wedding last April he took his wife on Michigan Ave. and bought her gorgeous shoes.....I mean gorgeous.......

    I have a daughter who loves shoes, and my mother was a shoe horse too........

    I like pretty shoes, but they have to be "good shoes".........can't wear cheap shoes......actually I have a closet of shoes I can't wear anymore.........thanks Letrozole.........

    Hey you lot, planning things without me, maybe the broomstick riders from down under will have to fly north to meet you lot.

    Trying to sort out my shoes, managed to evict one pair, still three pairs that wont fit in the cupboard, oh dear what to do.

    OMG still on the shoes

    Just gave a pair of uggs away,too fugly and I wore them exactly once.

    Just thought I would try,,hell no.

    I love beautiful she's,so do my DDs and my mom was bad too

    Hell no,that's what the broom is for

    Anyone wants to fly can meet us where ever we end up

    Good Grief!  There is no way I can keep up with everyone.  I'm working too many hours and don't get a lot of computer time.

    PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T FORGET ME.  Ask FK, I need a vacation.

    I think it would be in all of our best interest to let FK drive the damn broom.  It is her's you know.  I want to get there in one piece.  LOL!

    Slow - The fire is always burning.  Some days it is higher than others.  We will never let it go out.

    ducky - I did check the list.  Thanks for including me.

    Real quiet here today.

    Mammo coming up on the 21st.Not worried in the least bit but we could have a pocket party anyway.  Those are always fun.  Doctor appts are finally few and far between.

    JO.............BC.org had the site down today from 9 to 5......they called it maintenance........whatever they did......some of the ladies don't like it.........something about only being allowed to go back one page now........not sure what they mean........

    So that is why it was quiet.........

    ducky, when the site first came back there were only two options on the thread - First & Previous. Looks like they fixed the problem. There we also some sites you couldn't access. They fixed that also. Good to see it back and running as usual.

    Just back on since maintenance .... don't know what they did .... guess I will find out eventually if it causes me any personal grief or aggravation.

    Ducky, I used the wrong abbreviation about the shoes - I don't have a DSon, I have a DSister .... not sure if there is an abbreviation for the sister. Anyway, it is my sister who loves (loved) shoes ... now she is older and has broken her foot a couple years ago and wears only flats. 

    But I finally got some REAL BOOTS!

    FK, do you REALLY know how to fly that broom? You know I don't really like to fly, but if you can keep me out of airports, airport security, closed in airplane cabins with virulent germs running amok throughout the air system, babies screaming in pain as the air pressure hurts their little ears ..... well, I think open-air flying on a broom may be an acceptable mode of transportation. Otherwise I'm gonna have to find a tramp steamer to get to PR, and probably miss you all in Alaska as it will take about a week or two to get there over land. 

    Finally feeling well enough to go to my art class tomorrow - have missed it for the past 3 months - it meets once a month on Friday, and I have had so many ups & downs (mostly downs) since Thanksgiving, so am really excited that I am feeling a bit frisky and looking forward to being with another group of wonderful women for the day. Will check back in the next day or so to see how travel plans are progressing.

    Ducky I don't think it was anything to do with a new setup some things took time to work again. All sorts of threads vanished for a time. This must be a huge site when you think about it.

    Still there are some threads that could be deleted hehehe

    I am feeling MUCH better!!!!! Thanks! I just woke up one morning and felt as close to "ME" as I have in over a year, and each day has been a little better. Of course, this is my "off" week for the new chemo, but even so, I seem to be tolerating it fairly well so far, knock on wood. I was able to actually get out and do a 20 minute walk today without any difficulty breathing or shortness of breath - best since November! I guess sometimes it takes feeling really really bad to make you appreciate it when you feel good, so let me tell you, I am VERY appreciative right now!!!! Smile

    Linda!  It is so good to hear you feeling so well!  Have a great time at that art class!  I love art stuff but can't draw worth crap!  My daughter does after school art club and I go as the parent volunteer. I got a 25% of your whole purchase at michaels and as a surprise I took her and got her all kinds of different art supplies so we can play at home too!  I just got new brown boots too!  Marked down to $12 at target!  Boy I sound really cheap!

    Slow! I looked like that dog yesterday. It was windier than Hades here yesterday!

    Ducky! Can't wait for the trip!  When do we leave?  Are we going hot or cold first?  I need to know which clothes to put on the top of the suitcase. Does the broom have a trunk or are we pulling a trailer?  If we get too overloaded for the broom I could drive one of those short buses. We could get it painted like the Partridge Family bus and travel cross country doing a comedy tour wearing out fancy shoes and boots!

    4............waiting for FK to give us the word........she owns the broom, so we can't leave till she says so..........think we better head for "warm" first..........I have had enough of this friggin cold weather..........of course "you know who" ;is going to give us a hard time cause she loves the winter...........

    Says she doesn't like to fly...........so I guess we're gonna walk the broom from place to place.........my pilot offered to fly us in his private jet.........she said "NO"...........so she wins............I'm all for warm first...................I think since she got her way with our mode of transportation........we should get to say where we're going first......................................This is how I feel about going "cold" first.......I'm with the friggin bluebird........................LOL

    OMG I don't no where to start

    My broom is in the shop gettin a checkup

    But

    I do like the idea of hiring a buss(now u be quiet ducky,hear me out)

    If we hire a bus we can 1- pick up Alyson,see the world,I can bring all my shoes,and sit back and relax while we all take turns driving

    Then we can really go anywhere

    Jamaica sounds wonderful,just think about all the places we can go see

    Well what does everyone think?

    The broom goes where I go..it can be for short trips around the town we r in

    I'll go anywhere as long as we have indoor activities with A/C

    Alaska can be last 

    Ok ducky we have the head count,we have 9 ..somehow I think we r missing a few!if I remember correctly we had 13 last time...oh add Valjean,she has to go!so we have 10 now

    Never mind,I forgot I have the list

    Let's get some feed back here

    Yes it would be like taking an RV but having a golf cart for side trips!

    Maybe we could charter The Magic School Bus!  Then we could even go under water or to the moon!
