Red I got one too when I finished............did you get to ring a bell........at my cancer center they have a bell on the wall......when your done you get to ring it.........it is a very emotional time.......This is what the bell looks like and it has a small poem written on the plaque...........I went to a Fox Chase Regional Cancer Center, in Delaware County, Pa.

Not exactly Ducky, we don't do that in Canada but I thought it was a wonderful tradition, so my hubby and I took our own bells and rang them all the way out. :-)

4sew, hope SIL is fine & dandy, and she does not have to join our elite club, but if she does, she will have an amazing resource in you, and all that you have learned, +, i am sure you would tell her about all of us, but yes, very frightening for her, so kudos to you, for being the advance guard for her. And i see that you may have had a problem on bco,? on another thread? it happens to the best of us. sorry though, i had no idea, and yes it does hurt, because i think we have such a great high expectation of this place, because it is so healing to us. So, into the fire with whatever caused you to cry, and they better not ever. run into me. in person, or they WILL be sorry! it happened to me, too, twice.

happy happy spring!!! I planted candytuft in my rockery today. Sage, thyme, raspberries, rhubarb and lettuce I also planted. I still have a bunch of other stuff to go...... we are having 3 trees cut down on Monday. Then I'll get busy with more planting...

Gardengumby, I am so jealous!! We cannot plant anything before May 24, because we are still getting frost till then. I want to garden so badly but we still have several feet of snow to melt off first.
On the positive side of things, we have sunshine today!! Still below zero, but it's sunny. Yay. I was going to take a picture of my yard and post it but it's probably too depressing.
Oh well, this too will pass. Lol.

I am still on a high from yesterday's meeting......absolutely love those ladies......can't wait for you to see the pictures courtesy of Crazy....oops I meant to say Kracker.....LMAO, don't think Blondie had a camera, and neither did I...........but we posed for them ........LOL, right Blondie.........went to the bank today which is right across the street from where we met (Panera)........I sat for a few minutes in the bank parking lot and looked across at Panera and thought..............I met 3 of the most wonderful woemen their yesterday, and I teared up thinking about how I hated to leave them............ok, I'm done, before I have to run for the Tissues again...........today I used my sleeve...............LOL just kidding.....

Morning all have has my tea and toast in bed. It is Saturday here.
Sorry I can' t comment on everyone as I am on my iPhone and my memory is terrible. Don't think I want winter will have Autumn which I enjoy.

Saw that the grannykracker was out living it up. She looked as though she was having a great time.

4sew, am happy to hear your news as well. And you cracked me up about the car starter! Last year I was in a bit of a funk, decided I needed either a new house, new clothes, or a new car. Couldn't afford the new house, hate to shop for clothes, so got the new car. It has that keyless starter and was quite discomforting to begin with. Now I just act like it is the most natural thing in the world, but I know I can still use a key and a clutch. Kind of miss the clutch some days ....
I didn't realize there was going to be an in-person meeting at a Panera's - glad you all got a chance to meet up and have a good chat. I can hardly wait for the broom and bus to buzz by here in April!
Well, the bad news was that I developed really bad abdominal pain and ended up in the ER again yesterday - "partial bowel obstruction" but the good news was that my white cell count was up, so I was able to get my chemo today and am back pretty much "on schedule." So two beautiful days of this week spent in health care facilities - into the fire with THAT!!! But I am home now, a little tired, but have the windows open on my sunporch, listening to the music in a distance, thinking about finishing some art projects I have started. Maybe after a little nap.
Gardengumby, I have been getting the gardening itch as well, and if this week hadn't been such a time-sucker for medical crap, I would have ordered a new raised bed. Maybe I can do that this afternoon or weekend. All of the space that I originally had for vegetable gardening has been slowly encroached upon by mums and herbs ....

Garden, I can't wait to start planting. I spent time out on my patio last weekend and it just wore me out. Think I'll try again this weekend.
4, Jeez, someone not being nice to you? - what is it with this place??? I just don't get how women can go through this hell of BC together, and not be kind to each other. Stick around the Bonfire, everyone here is just wonderful.
Linda, I feel for you! I had a bowel obstruction during chemo, and ended up in the ER. It was not fun at all. I'm glad your counts were up to get your chemo. I hope you have a restful weekend!
Kath, I'm with you - was wondering what the TOL thread was until I came here and read. I can't seem to open it either. I can't wait to see you all together. What a great day it must have been!

Just got home, long day!!! and my effing car...................they say now it wasn't a bad part but it needed a software update. WTF??? Did it need a new part in the first place or did it jus need computer shit???? GGGRRRRRR
All in all it has been a really good day. Laughed a lot. People think I'm nutz where ever I go. Guess my secret is out.
I'll catch up, promise! And thanks for all the support ladies. That makes me cry too. It was really nothing new, just an old wound being opened with what felt like a pick ax. I am not a grudge carrier. Don't always remember some just have nothing else and take that shit to their grave.
