We have one of the best universities in the world in our town. Actually, I think our 2 universities we ranked #4 and #20. Our college is excellent too. The University of Waterloo (#4) is very math/science oriented, robotics, engineering, computers, etc. The other, Wilfred Laurier, is arts, languages and music. Also soft sciences, like environment. Conestoga College produces nurses, civil engineers, teachers and social sciences, like therapists and social workers. In addition, that first university also has about 6 seminary colleges attached to it.

To promote my town for just another second, it is split geographically into white and blue collar workers. White collars work at BlackBerry, insurance companies (we are the insurance capitol) and one of numerous physics labs. Blue collar work at Lear, various flooring companies, utilities and in city hall. Most of the university students stay after graduation.

OK all done my pitch. O and he could stay with us till he finds better lodgings. We're a pretty quiet area. Lol haha haha fofl.

Yes, it's the brain trust for all things medical. With Sunnybrook and Mount Sinai leading the pack. Not familiar with Dr. Semple - I'll look him up.

I have PMd with some of his patients and found a blog another does.  Very interesting stuff!  He is doing a lot now with rad patients to regenerate the tissue and making recon with implants a very viable choice after rads!

Cool. That would be nice. To have the girls looking like sisters again. I don't need twins but as another sista said, right now, they're not even related. One is walleyed and kinda flat, while the other looks you straight in the eye and says, hey you!

Well I am now flat as a pancake on one side and have a 700 cc on the other!  With what they left fat wise since it was a prophy (that was pre cancerous, damn am I glad they are gone!) it equates to a large C/D cup

I can only flash people from a left profile for a while :0)

Oh my - you've all been busy today. I won't even attempt to catch up. I went to a T-ball game today and actually spent some time out on my patio. I haven't done anything out there in so long, it felt good to actually get something done for a change. It's a beautiful evening here in Southern California. Hope you're all having a good night.

hi all, checking in after a busy few days.  Headed to a conference next week then flying to FL to help mom move to WI.  Will drive her car back north ahead of the moving van.  Will be off the board for the better part of the next fortnight so April 1 is perfect!  ♥

Wow you ladies have been busy!!  I've been MIA for a few days, between internet misbehaving and wedding festivities for my dear friends' daughter!  Whew all that fun wore me out, and I slept til 11 today.  And I never sleep that late!

At the reception, I drank some champagne (and I don't drink much at all these days), which was such a treat.  And I danced like no one was watching, so I am warmed up and ready to go-- I'll be joining FK dancing in the aisle of the bus.  Woohoo we'll get all of you up and going.  Be sure to pack the dancing shoes! I saw some new line dances that I'd never seen before at the reception, so I'll see if I can learn them better before we depart.  Funny thing was, the dance floor was packed, but only 2 guys were out there.  Guess they all want to freestyle!  Beam me up Scottie, and Calgon, take me away!

Hey Hollander!  The bus has wide aisles and a couple of poles for Ducky and Kracker!

Where in GA are you?  We should meet up and go dance for real!

Hi All!  I have been reading everyday but it is so hard to keep up.  I don't have much computer time.

Slow - I'm sure FK could teach us some pole dancing.  She used to be quite a dancer in her younger days.  Besides, she is bringing the CFM pumps - they would be perfect!!!!  LOL!

Ummm FK, is it OK if I bring my broom too? I only have one pair of CFM pumps, but they're very pretty, with flowers and stuff on em. I learned to pole dance at my daughter in laws stagette. Does that count?

Jo, You and I will learn together. I have to admit though, I have two left feet and I'm not that coordinated.

Edited to say: I don't own any CFM shoes. With a size 10 foot, it kinda looses the CFM appeal. LOL

Ha, I have some size 10 purple stilettos from Fredericks.  I will share. Bought them right before I broke my ankle. They have not been worn outside the house yet!

2 left feet is no problem with a pole!  If your feet are on the floor, you are doing it wrong!!

Slow - Sew is right, if your feet are on the floor you are doing it wrong. But, we can learn together with FK as our instructor.

I don't have any CFM pumps.  I would break my ankles if I tried to wear them.  Only flat shoes for this girl.

This is going to be an awesome vacay.

Lol, I was wearing matronly Naturalizer flats when I did shatter my ankle. Dislocated and broke in at least 6 spots!  I don't stand a chance in the CMFs!

I guess if it's a magic bus it will probably have a magic pole. Maybe I'll be magically coordinated!!

I hurt today!  And for me to say that you know it hurts!  I have not had a pain pill with any of my surgeries, not even the original MX and node removal.  This for some reason hurts!  Constant burning. Think it is because the muscle layers are touching again and the nerves are duking it out!

This too shall pass!  Thanks for asking though!

How many rads do you have left?  I didn't mind them at all!

I've done 14/31 so far. I'm not getting any skin reactions so far. The hour drive each way makes me sleepy, but other than that it seems to be going well.
