Please pray for my grandson.......he lives in Missouri 1 1/2 miles from Ferguson....it is bad there, very baad......police are right ouside his condo...............we are beside ouselves........

cant you go a day early? & spend a night in a nice motel? Maybe that snow will jump to ferguson. that is one distressing story. I don't know all the details, but i do know how high feelings can get about these things. I hope all the fathers brothers sisters daughters mothers get to go home to the ones who love em. i guess that about covers everyone... Doesn't it seem the $h:+ is getting knee deep everywhere lately? The slooooow rapture (copyright,me). I think everybody on the east coast rents a big truck, fills it with snow, and brings it to california, where we will have a big party and make snow angeles while doing our range of motion exercises! And then we will build igloos for the homeless people, and teach them to build igloos, so they will never be homeless again!
And i will come up with more fun stuff if you will give me a minuet! (wink to slow!)!!

I need to throw my ROs scheduling nurse into the fire. She must think we are stupid.... and she lied to us. Both my DH and I have called her direct line and left messages for her to call us to schedule my radiation therapy. She had the nerve to tell my DH that he must have left the message on someone else's extension because she never received them. But she had no answer when he asked her why he recognizes her voice from her message recording...

Kracker, I thought a lot about your situation last night and I came up with this….For some reason, the powers that be do not want you traveling on the busiest travel day of the year. I think maybe someone is looking out for you. Kinda like not getting on an airplane at the last minute. I know it's got to be so disappointing, but we would all rather have you safe. I'm hoping they have a cancellation and can get you in before January.
Poppy, if I'm not mistaken, this week is your last chemo????I bet you can't wait to be finished! I also had some scheduling headaches when doing rads. Take a slow-deep-breath!! Good for your husband for calling her out.

Slow - I'm here and yes, I am still at that damn job. Will be until spring. An assistant manager has been hired and is supposed to have lots of computer experience. If that is true, then my job just got easier. I lurk everyday but really haven't felt like posting. I have been busy crocheting Christmas presents at night and lose track of time. Before I know it, it is bedtime and then no time for the computer.
