I'll have big pockets on so come all and bring your snacks. At least someone can eat since I won't be able to.

tamcattech-geez sorry about the car wreck, I think you have had enough.  Rant all you want here.

Sherry-best of luck for you Thursday.  I will be thinking good thoughts and sending them your way.

Tam-really really sucks about your accident.  so glad you are ok !  I had a car accident shortly after rads ended as well. A guy backed into me in a parking lot.  No damage to me, but both doors of my car needed to be replaced.

I had a good BC day today.  Had my first mammo after surgery and rads and it came back negative.  The tech warned me that I probably would need additional films since it is my first mammo, but she came out 5 minutes later with my nice sheet that says Negative!  What a relief!  All the other ladies waiting were going back in for extra films.  My appointment was for 9:30 and I was out and in the hospital parking ramp by 10 am.  Plus, it did not hurt a bit!! My right breast hurt more since she wasn't as careful.  Wheew! Glad that is over...

Susan - Big congrats on the all clear mammo.  It is such a relief to hear that.  I know I was pretty stressed out until I had my first mammo.

Sherry praying for your speedy recovery and quiet quick car ride home.  Try to go to sleep in the car, makes the time go by faster.

Jo are you bringing the pink hair spray for the pocket party?

Gina don't remind Jo about the pink hairspray she will try to spray my hair while I am out of it.  Also just got off the phone with the hospital and one of the questions was regarding nausea after anesthesia.  I said yes and I wanted to ask the anesthesiologist to give me something better for nausea so she wrote it down in the notes for the Dr's., but I also plan to make sure I tell him.

Jo if you get ahold of me it might just scare the surgical team off.  That's a way to get out of surgery!

Thanks Ladies!  Visit to breast clinic went well today.  I guess I will be getting both an MRI and mammo in 6 months, since my low grade DCIS didn't show up on Mammo (mammo only showed 5 mm. of high grade DCIS).  They say it creates extra unneeded biopsies, but I'd rather be safe than sorry!  Besides, what's one more biopsy after going through treatments once?

Hey after rads ladies... I'm 3 months post rads and I started filling my TE again. I'm swollen from my breast up to my underarm and my skin is getting tighter and tighter.  I'm doing physical therapy, but it seems to be getting worse.  The RO thought that maybe my muscle over the TE was inflamed.  Did anyone else have these problems?
