    Morning gals,

First off, big healing hug to you Susan. I hate Waldo doing this to your body. It really sucks.

WJoo and Sas, the app for sleep tracking was found in app store on my iPhone. I noticed the FitBit is on sale at Kohls of all places. I have a gift card so might buy it to measure sleep and activity. Although, with iron deficiency anemia, not much activity going on these days. Today is iron infusion day, again.

    Nice peaceful pics Enerva.

Wth is going on with these Malaysia airline planes? Just getting ready for work, turned on the news, and another Malaysia plane went down. Very sad for all those passengers.

Chevy, Your neighbor has so much going on. Sure the doc has thought of this, BUT she could have a heart rhythm problem. BP  and heart can change in response to each other. If she is flipping in an out of a problem rhythm i.e any of the upper heart problems it would cause dizziness. There is a lower heart rhythm that also could be a problem. Bp would respond up and down or not be able to correctly read b/c the machines aren't perfect. Ideally she could be on a 30 day monitor that would record changes, but they aren't perfect either. This type of monitor does need the patient to be involved to some degree.

Regarding FBB--Fierce Bluebird----I'm checking with her to see if the thread shower is okay with her. We wouldn't be talking about her condition, we would just be doing the generic get well and we love you. AND be as silly/raucus, and thoughtful as can be.  Once I get her answer I will let you know :).  If it's okay with her , then I'll do the thread tomorrow afternoon.

Visiting today at disney resort with a nursing school mate and family. I'll be back tomorrow morning

Regarding the car ---I got soaked on the money. I had the Prius 5 for 5 weeks. But OH WELL. Already know the Seinna is not hurting me. It will take weeks to months to correct one week of problems. But been through the hip thing before and know what I have to do to get back to pre-Prius level. Typical to most musculoskeletal problems, many body parts have gotten involved in the pain party.

DS was going to bring his new gal to disney today, but decided not too. The significance of this is---he's only ever brought two girls home. So this is a serious relationship. I would be delighted b/c I've known the family since 1998(?). Lovely. But I've not met her. But know she's wonderful. She's the older sister of one of DS's Classmates. As much as DS's friend and his sister were a part of ds's highschool years, it's amazing I never actually met her. But I feel like she's an old friend. Love the parents.

Waving to everyone. Three pages behind.

Susan. - sorry you got that response from your mom. Glad you responded quickly and hung up.  It IS all about YOU right now. Empathy you want empathy you will get here.  Buying time is a good phrase. Holding on with one chemo til something  better comes out. I am not in that position yet so I don't know what to say. But we will gladly listen. :-).

Smaarty - I have not found what wood floors I've been on too bad for slipping but then not real wood either. Friend's plank laminate was fine but I had on rubbery soled sandals. My Pergo is slippy with one pair of dress shoes but about the same on the carpet/ceramic tile so it's the shoes. I know some homes around here must have real wood floors but I can't think of any right off hand. You will have me looking at floors now.

How tall is that lampshade? I had a lamp wedding gift. Looks much like it same color green but not as heavy or tall. It was about 34 years old. Dog caught herself on cord and broke it to smithereens. Maybe lamp would not be so bad to ship without lampshade but then again it may be the weight factor not the "bigness" factor. The barstools are kind neat too - so long as you don't have too big a bum!

JWoo - are you going to get the "frog strangler" rain we've had? Looks like it's moving west into your neck of the woods. Wise/Denton counties have had 10-11" of rain since about 3 am. We've only had about 2. But I found one of the downspouts shooting out backward towards foundation. DH took end off and it was filled with dead gunk. Also re-rounded it - oops I had stepped on it but it was the gunk stopping it up. I don't think any got it. Soil is draining well - we are more sandy loam out here not clay stuff.

Wish we had subflooring to paint. It's known as concrete. I lived for 2 weeks in a house with concrete floors in January when house flooded from ice storm/frozen pipe and carpet went to big-azz warehouse to dry out. Not nice. I would have to have big rugs. The den used to be garage has a big braided rug; that's the room with the ceramic tile. That floor is cold in winter. Chevy - love your floor. If we ever win the lottery ---

Susan - we love you any way you are. Gripe all you want to us. Praying that in a couple of years more there will some more treatments come along. One step, one day, one hour. Your mom - don't know what to say. Was she stalling for time to reply decently? I may be grasping at straws. Big old hugs from here. Don't they look peaceful?

Pawprint - I'm afraid the FitBit would yell at me to get up out of the chair.

Heck Sassy at the rate Chevy's neighbor gets "dizzy" I bet a 24-48 hour Holter monitor would do the trick. Patient involvement - anything more than pushing the event button and noting it on a log/BP if she took it? Been a long time since I've seen/had one. Well, not to send monitor thru washing machine or step into shower. Maybe I'm giving neighbor too much credit.

I love my computer because that's where my friends live. So true.

Luv that is so cute about loving u'r computer and it's true. We are all here for each other that's the whole idea isn't it.? And this is a great group.

Yes Cammi!  Our friends ARE all here!

Okay you guys.... yes, maybe a Holter monitor or which one is for 24 hours, and which one is the weekly one?  I have had both, when I used to have those spells, and nothing wrong with my heart!  Just stress from all that was going on!  Thanks Sass and Littlegoats!!!s!  We too often just take what the Doctor says, without any more tests!   They have given her MRI's, on her head and chest, but nothing showed up that was wrong....   Going for her eye test today, AND the beauty shop....

But I'll ask her to mention this to her Doctors!  That's a great idea!  They will probably shrug off that idea, because they have tried the usual suspects!

Went to see Tammy with my DD!  It was sooooooo funny!  But I think I was the only one laughing, out of about 15 whole people in the theatre!  We were happy as clams though!  Eating our lunch she had picked up from Tokyo Joe's? I think....  Nice bowls of rice, and veggies & a good dressing!  And of course Popcorn and our Starbucks!

That other one with Camryn Diaz coming out looks good too!  I KNOW....  but it looks good, even though it is called "Sex Tape" I think!    I'l probably be the oldest one there!

Have you gals thought of taking the lamp up to a UPS store?  I know they will pack it.... because we had them send one of my folks vacuums to my Daughter....  I forget how much it was.... but they packed it great, she said.

Okay, let us know Sass about Miss Fiercly!  We will of course carry on as if we were sort of normal..... or not!  Sad

Chevy - I think JWoo is going to get an estimate from UPS/Pack 'N Ship etc. b4 Smaarty goes any further. A 25# 5' tall lamp is a doozy (bet 3 ft is lampshade alone). Well a vacuum had to weigh a good bit too.

smaarty, My fake wood and real wood floors aren't slippery unless I accidentally get some endust on them... Then it woooops......

Went back and read my posts....oh man....don't take a Valium and then post... Wow......I sounded pathetic...lol.  Sorry guys....no drugs and typing for me anymore.....ha ha

Chevy that sounds like u had fun with u'r DD and I'm glad all the people that were there were whole people.

That movie The Tape does look cute about what goes out on the internet that wasn't supposed to. Plus I like the stars.

I think that lamp will cost quite a bit to ship even without the shade, but it's still cheaper than buying one maybe.

Littlegoats!  I forgot to tell you....!  They have passed a law that says we can keep 3 little goats in the city... I think Wheatridge?  They are so darned cute!

Susan..... We don't care WHAT you say....  about ANYthing....  So if you know what your Mom's likely response will be next time, just don't even get into it.  I know what to talk to my Orlando Daughter about, and what NOT to, because she tends to try and pound her point into my head, if I dare to disagree.  If your Mom acts indifferent, just don't tell her things you KNOW will turn her off....

Sometimes we just can't talk to family....  but you can say anything here with us....  It just makes us feel bad, when we get either no response, or a negative one!

Okay, I'm going to try and figure out why I can't post pictures today!

yeah I know Chevy...but the whole "taking the Valium"  then communicating...wow....kinda lost my control of things....check that off my list of things to take....my brain usually works better...lol

Have a computer question....why do I have to log out of this in Order to receive new messages??

Ah, Susan, Valium or not, you said what you felt. That's the important thing. We all understand, so fire away when you need to.

I still can't copy & paste a picture!  And I'm baffled why you have to sign off!  Ha!

Nothing wrong with taking a Valium....  I've never taken one, but probably if me and Cammi did, we would sound maybe normal?  Winking
